I am suffering from PCOS. I want to know that is milk or curd and dairy products is not good for me. Can I consume curd or milk? Yeas, you must avoid dairy product specially milk and as curd is also one of dairy product you should avoid it for better and effective treatment .Yoga can play important role in the prevention and management of polycystic ovarian syndrome. Since stress is playing important factor in exaggerating pcos, so yoga therapy is effective in pcos. Yoga poses such as asanas, relaxation exercises, pranayama and meditation are effective as stress buster. Yoga poses like asanas help to stretch the pelvic area and pranayama as well as meditation soothe the mind. Exercise is really beneficial to managing our PCOS as it helps to manage insulin levels which in turn improves our testosterone and SHBG levels. Exercise as much as your capacity and consistencydont follow someone blindly. You can do cardio exercise, strenght training exercise and walking and all as per schedule with gym and as per your body capacity. Do not frustrate even if that exercise do not show any change in weighning machine, it will surely improve you from internally. So exercise gradually, until you reach your peak point and continue that.

When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. Use antidandruff shampoo. Eat healthy nutritious food containing proteins vitamins and minerals Exercise regularly Take supplements containing aminoacids vitamins and minerals. Pl get an evaluation done. Looks like you may need internal medications as well.

1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin c like amla and oranges. 10. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.

During periods one can take curd and lemon water. As both are acidic properties. Some said yes and some says NO. If they are acidic then in that case can they be taken after 3 days of periods? They affect the periods also?

Hello- This acidic or harmful action of curd and lemon is only mentioned in ayurveda , so only ayurvedic doctor knows what will be its ill effects in near future, this is why allopathic doctors do not suggest to stop these even during menses. Curd is beneficial only if it taken with few rules specially mentioned in ayurvedic texts which are, do not use it continuously, do not use at night, use with sugar not salt, and do not heat curd as we often see in case of kadhi or in some curries.

When you had intercourse, was it around 14th day of your cycle, then there are chances of pregnancy. Sometimes brown discharge comes evenif pregnancy is there. If there is no chances of pregnancy, then again, brown discharge may come before regular menses so wait and watch for some days.

Hi boil 1 ripe banana in 1 cup of milk, mash well. Take 3-4 times a day....Make an ointment by mixing an equal amount of powdered long pepper and turmeric with milk (preferably cow’s milk). Apply this on the external piles....take arshantak vati 1-1 twice a day with warm water...and take pranacharya pilescure capsule 1-1 twice a day...and abhayarishta 2-2 tsf twice a day..apply pranacharya pilescure ointment on anal region....if stomach is not clear them take virechan churna 1 tsf in warm water before night...take fresh buttermilk early morning...avoid spicy food...junk food...fermented food....tea...coffee.....take slitz bath

Oils that are physically refined and local to you and used as per traditional cuisine is fine. The idea is to use oil in moderation as per requirements of body. Just because foreign oils are promoted by the west does not make them healthier.

Eat healthy food. Do daily exercise and Yoga. This will help you to increase weight, improve BP. Do Pranayam daily for 10-15 mins. This will improve your respiratory system You have to do these continuously for an year only then you will see positive change. To gain some weight, you need to eat healthy. Take small meals but eat something solid every 2 hours. 1. Take at least two fruits per day and one glass fruit juice. 2. Take one peanut butter/cheese sandwich daily. 3. Eat 20 almonds & 5 khajoor daily 4. Drink full cream milk, curd, lassi, chikoo shakes etc. 5. If your are non veg you can have more eggs, chicken, fish. 6. Dals have good protein. Have more dals, rajma, kabuli chana, soya beans etc. 7. Avoid junk food and colas. Avoid chips and other namkeen. 8. No need for any extra supplements. Natural diet is best. 9. Take deworming tablets every six months. .Feel confident about yourself and be positive and smile.
