You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your back pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any leg pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias ( electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Hello, Kindly follow advises given below 1.Avoid using computers continuously, take rest for 5 min after working for half an hour 2. In pain free interval do neck exercise (kindly learn exercise by registered Trainer) 3. you can use thin pillow while sleeping so that normal posture of neck can be maintained 4.Maintain proper posture of body while watching TV/ studying Kindly go for cervical X ray AP and lateral and review with reports You can apply volini gel 1% local application twice a day for 3-5 days on back Consult me for Further Management

I am a 56 years old govt servant. I am having pain in the joint of my toe since last few years. My uric acid value does' nt exceeds 6. 9. I have consulted several orthopedics surgeons and taken several medicines but of no effect. Presently I am not taking any medicines except few homeopathic drops. I also take concor 20mg, rosuvas 5mg & telma 20 for bp & mild techie cardia problems, as advised by the experts of blk hospital, new delhi. Is prolonged use of these medicines, have negative effect on health. Please advice

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

hello . u do some precautions as u can't sit on floor,use Western toilet, For pain relief u take hot water Fermentation on both knee for 15 minutes. Now u do exercises. 1. Bend ur knee with heel slide as possible without pain then hold for second then straight it. do 10 times with both knee. 2 . Take a towel roll and place under knee and press it downward hold for 5 second and relax it. do 10 time with both knee.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

If the pain is in the back of the hip the problem is likely to be a disc issue. If the pain is in the front of the hip, that is in the groin region it could be a of the hip joint. Get xrays done for the hip joint and lumbar spine and mail them to me in a private message.

Sir actually I am confused whether I am suffering from knock knee problem or not. Actually both my knees touches each other and ankles also touches each other when I stand straight in attention position. There is no distance between ankles when I stand straight in attention position but at same time there is also no gap between knees. So sir do I have knock knee?

A person with knock knees has a large gap between their feet when they're standing with their knees together. If someone with knock knees stands with their knees together, their lower legs will be spread out so their feet and ankles are further apart than normal. A small distance between the ankles is normal, but in people with knock knees this gap can be up to 8cm (just over 3 inches) or more.

This depends on the state of your problem, usually in 15 days time your pain should have been better if the remedy is suited to your case. If its better then you should not take this further. If your pain is similar and Mag Phos offered no relief then also there is no reason to take this medicine any longer. Your case need a re evaluation and remedy or potency might be changed or both.

Hello lybrate-user, I am sorry to know you are suffering from mcl tear. As you know. An MCL injury is a sprain or tear to the medial collateral ligament. The MCL is a band of tissue on the inside of your knee. It connects your thighbone to the bone of your lower leg. The MCL keeps the knee from bending inward. Following are the self help strategies to get rid of your problem. Using Self-help Strategies 1.Protect your knee from further damage. Limit the amount of moving around you do right after the injury occurs. Injured ligaments should be well rested to promote faster healing and to avoid further injury. Make sure to avoid placing any excessive pressure on your MCL, as this could cause further complications.[1] •Another way to avoid damaging your knee further is to avoid exposing your knee to hot temperatures for at least 48 hours after the injury occurs. Hot temperatures could cause your knee to swell up and become even more tender. 2.Immobilize your knee. Your doctor may recommend that you wear a knee brace for a period of time (the length of time depends on how badly the knee was injured). A brace can help to keep your knee stable, which in turn can keep further damage from occurring. 3.Compress your knee. Use an ice compress to do this. Cold temperatures can help to numb the area so you feel less pain, while also restricting the flow of blood to the area, which can help to bring the swelling down. •Do not place an ice pack or ice directly against your skin; make sure to wrap it in a hand towel first to avoid damaging your skin. Hold the ice pack against your knee for 15 to 20 minutes, then let your knee rest.[2] You can repeat this process throughout the day. 4.Elevate your knee. You should elevate your knee above the level of your heart; doing this can help to keep the amount of swelling that occurs to a minimum. Continue to elevate your knee as much as possible for at least 48 to 72 hours after the injury occurs.[3] •You can use a pillow to prop up your leg.
