I am getting fever at night times and getting drowsy my age is 21 male. What medicine I have to use.
Nightfall or wet dreams is a very common occurrence in men, in adolescents. This condition is characterized by the involuntary ejaculation of semen while sleeping at night or in the early hours of the morning. The problem can sometimes become frustrating for young men because they fail to understand the reason for it and cannot discuss it with their parents or peers out of embarrassment. The frequency of these nocturnal ejaculations may vary from person to person. Some people only experience it in their adolescent years and some people experience it throughout their lives.
Frequent night falls can result in laziness, lesser sensation in the genital regions, burning sensation after urination and low libido.
What are the causes?
Night falls are common at a young age when a man abstains from sex. But if they persist and become more frequent, they can create adverse effects on the body.
The major causes are stated below,
- Weak nerves, congested prostate gland and inability to control emotions are considered as primary causes of frequent nightfall
- Males having sex or performing self-stimulation frequently can become prone to night fall
- Side effects of medicines like tranquilizers, high blood pressure medicines, sedatives etc. can also increase the frequency of night falls
- Lethargic lifestyle, diabetes, obesity, long sitting hours, low libido, stress, anxiety and depression affect the balance of hormones, weakening the nerves and causing nightfall
How can it be controlled?
- Exercises and jogging keep the body fit and taking a bath before sleeping relax the mind and aids in sleeping, therefore reducing the possibility of nightfall
- Urination right before going to bed can help in preventing nightfall
- Having yogurt twice or thrice a day can reduce the chances of getting wet dreams
- Refraining from watching porn or sexually explicit visuals before going to bed will keep nightfall at bay
- Reading books before going to sleep can reduce the possibility of getting wet dreams. However, a book dealing with sensuous themes can make it worse. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a sexologist.
Everyone, I’m Dr Sanket Pisat. I’m a consultant gynaecological laparoscopic surgeon, practising in Andheri in Mumbai and today we are going to talk about fibroids. Fibroids are among the communist non-cancerous tumours that grow in the reproductive tract of the female genital system. It is surprising to know that as many as 40% of women will have had an issue with fibroids in their entire lifetime. Some of these fibroids might actually be symptomatic in the sense that they may trouble the patient in terms of giving symptoms like excessive bleeding or inability to get pregnant or a sense of continues heaviness in the lower abdomen or symptoms like urinary symptoms or bowel symptoms where the patient cannot evacuate her bowels completely. Now a lot of these fibroids may actually be asymptomatic in the sense that they have no bearing on the women’s health at all, however most of these fibroids if they are symptomatic almost always require to be treated. Fibroids can be detected by a good ultrasound examination and it is worthwhile to remember that not all fibroids require treatment or require surgery.
A lot of this fibrosis can be left alone without any sequel and some of these fibroids can be managed very well with medicine without the need for surgery however in a select group of patients there are fibroids in the uterus which are causing problems like infertility the inability to get pregnant or heavy menstrual bleeding these are the fibroids that generally require surgery now previously this kind of surgery was done by opening up the abdomen and removing the fibroids. Not anymore now this surgery is done by what we call keyhole surgery or laparoscopy in which two or three small cuts are made on the abdomen and the entire fibroids can be removed these two or three cuts. It is a day care surgery in the scene the patients get admitted in the morning and is usually discharged in the same day or the next day for the removal of fibroids. Because of the advancement in fibroids removal this surgery has become extremely cost effective, painless and with a minimal hospital stay of maybe one or two days the other variant of fibroids is the fibroids that grow with in the uterine lining which are called submucouse fibroids and these can be managed virtually by a scar less called hysteroscopic fibroid removal in which the entire surgery is done through the vagina without having to take a single cut on the patients abdomen other treatment options for fibroids are also available called uterine artery embolization which is actually a small surgery to block the blood supply to the fibroids so that over time the fibroids shrinks and don’t grow anymore. The other option available for the treatment of fibroids is the use of a high-intensity beam much similar to the ultrasound we use for locating and seeing the fibroids but in much intensity in order to melt the fibroid so fibroid never comes back and gives you a pain-free life. Of course the whole decision of which treatment modality can be used in which patient and is suited best for whom has to be left to the doctor because there are several points to consider if you are planning of pregnancy as to how and where the fibroid should be removed and which fibroid should be left alone so that the pregnancy outcome or your future health is not affected. It is believed that tooth decay once occurred cannot be reversed or healed. But the recent studies have proven this wrong. According to the researches cavity can be healed by improved diet. Tooth decay primarily occurs due to bathing the teeth with the foods containing carbohydrates frequently. Bacteria from mouth feed on these foods and produce acids which destroy tooth enamel over a period of time resulting in cavity.
To heal cavities naturally, we need to include the foods rich in minerals like calcium, fat soluble vitamins lack of which cause cavities.
Ways to heal cavities naturally
1. Avoid sugar and phytic acid (phytate)
Sugar is the food for bacteria. So it is better to avoid sugar in your diet. You can replace sugar with pure honey which is much healthier option.
Phytate is mineral blocker found in nuts, seeds, soy products and grains. It does not only inhibit absorption of minerals in your body but also leaches out minerals from the teeth and bones. You can alter the way you eat the phytate containing foods. Prefer sprouted seeds, fermented soy foods, salted bread etc which cut down the amount of phytate.
Calcium strengthens teeth. Hence increase your calcium intake by consuming milk, cheese and yogurt. With calcium, include phosphorous and magnesium rich diet also to aid calcium functions.
3. Fat soluble vitamins
Lack of fat soluble vitamins also cause tooth decay. Take diet rich in fat soluble vitamins a, e, k and especially vitamin d. Cod liver oil is great source of vitamin a, d, e. Vitamin k can be acquired from spinach, broccoli, skate liver oil, bone marrow etc. In addition to sunshine, milk, eggs and salmon are also rich in vitamin d.
4. Raw dairy products
Raw dairy products are loaded with calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, fat soluble vitamins. We must include raw dairy products in our diet. Raw cheese, butter, milk are the examples of raw dairy foods.
You can also try coconut oil pulling and activated charcoal / dry neem powder to brush your teeth which can prevent cavity naturally.
