Anytime if period gets delayed and if you had sex after last period, then urine pregnancy test should be done. Otherwise after waiting for a week one should consult Gynecologist. Also learn about family planning methods instead of using emergency pill which is only for emergency.

My mother has diabetes and ashtama. She has been discharged last week after asthma attack and she has very high sugar due to medrol. Doctor has been suggested Huma insulin 30/70 12unit morning and 14 unit night but her sugar levels is 400+.she is also taking tripade 2 twice in a day. She is not able to walk much as she is sick and oxygen. Before admitting to hospital she was taking galvus met 50/500 and diamiacorn xr 60 and glucobay.

Firstly, You need to know that medrol is a steroid and steroids are medicines with lots of side-effects. I am sure that your doctor would have started your mother on steroids because her asthmatic condition would have endangered her life and he would have been left with no choice but to start steroids. I respect his decision and would urge you also to understand the urgencies that we as doctors face to save our patients - sometimes taking calculated risks! As a next step, the doctor would try to taper and stop medrol as soon as possible. Secondly, please remember that in emergency life threatening conditions, insulin is the best choice medicine for all diabetics in the world. I say, categorically "the world" - because if your mother was been treated in USA - ever there the doctors would have given her insulin only! So please don't stop or substitute insulin for the time being. Once your mother is stable - there will be other choices.

First of all your back posture may not b correct. If u r working and have a long sitting job, it is possible. secondly, it can b due to some degeneration in your lower back, due to which nerve compression can b there. see some near by physiotherapist asap. Thank you.

Mix castor oil and a little amount of baking soda until you make a paste. Place the paste on the surface of the mole. Leave the paste on the mole for a few hours. The paste will dry after a few hours. This can be done about twice every day.

If scaling was to loosen gums the treatment would have not existed. We dentist also gets our scaling done every 6 months. As in spite of taking good care it is a must. your gums are bleeding. It shows that if you do not get your scaling done eventually you might also get bone loss problem n then weaken teeth. Visit a dentist for consultation.

I suggest you follow the below for your condition: take mag phos 6x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Also do x-ray of the affected area. Heat and ice packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately. You have to stop bike-riding. Take a morning walk daily for 30 minutes.

Hi gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.

Your cycles do get disturbed for sometime as there is big h9rmonsl shuffle in the body it will settle down in time but in the meantime if you had sexual relationship again then get your urine tested for pregnancy once again

You can cut down two kgs per month by a combination of diet and exercise. - The best solution for Weight loss is Simple Diet + Daily exercise. - Add more Fruits /Salads/Proteins to your diet. - Double your water intake.
