As you mentioned you are having ibs and fatty liver you must concentrate on the diet first beacause these disease are chronic and easily gets relapsed with inappropriate diet. Along with that you are using inhaler for asthama. All these symptoms are related to kapha dushti and angimandya acc. To ayurveda in short. For now you can take tab. Arogyavardhini vati 2 tabs twice a day before 15 min. Of food tab. Praval panchamrita 2 tabs twice a day. You must undergo the panchakarma therapy for relief from these situations. Visit an ayurvedic physician near you. For diet avoid spicy food, bakery products, milk (specifically at night time, milk products, curd, and other heavy food products. You can take only freshly made buttermilk at food time.

What do to protect myself from dust allergy if live in metro city, which cause excessive sneezing and had ace.

MS - ENT,MBBS
Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT) Specialist, Kolkata
Dust allergy is partly genetic and partly environmental. Thus it never goes away. With better, less dusty environment  the extent if the problem gets reduced. Medicines help to downregulate the immune response of your body to these environmental allergens. Long term lifestyle  changes with gradually tapering medication  helps to tackle chronic sinus problems.  Start taking Steam inhalation twice a day. *For chronic allergic rhinosinusitis you will need to take a long term course of antibiotics  together  with Nasal sprays. *You will need to avoid dusty environment  and dust mites, animal dander etc. Regular cleaning of AC air filters. Wearing mask while driving 2 wheelers/working in dusty  areas Medical  management  is done for 3 months and then patients  condition is reviewed.  Intermittent treatment is not beneficial  in the long run. Around 30 %of people with allergic rhinitis  will develop Asthma if not treated. But majority of patients with asthma are allergic to dust. Active treatment  of nasal allergy reduces Asthma attacks and medicine requirements. This improve  quality of life.

MD - Pathology

Only solution is gluten free diet. Gluten is present in wheat. In celiac disease, lining of intestine is damaged by gluten, if it is taken. No medicine can prevent it. So stop intake of gluten. Gluten free foods are available in market. In addition there may malabsorption of other vitamins, minerals and nutrients, you will need to supplement those. Constipation is also a common symptom, take plenty of fresh fruits and salads. Drink 3 lts water in a day.

I am an asthma patient since childhood but everything is under good control. I only need to take asthalin inhaler after March for a month or so when we start removing woolens and I start getting attacks but as soon as I get the feel of getting attack, before only I inhale one puff and I am able to prevent the attack. Occasionally when it does not improve, I take seroflo one or two puffs. If that also does not help only then I consult a doctor for oral medication dose. Generally in a year I must not be taking more than 20 puffs in all. Is there anything wrong in my approach? I do not want to take too many medicines and want to heal by taking precautions. Please suggest if there is anything I should be knowing regarding my problem in a long run considering the way I am handling my problem. Thank you.

My father has an asthma. What is the effect of using an asthma preventer for long term?

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
My father has an asthma. What is the effect of using an asthma preventer for long term?
There is no side effects in using inhaler drugs. Some people with asthma are prescribed a preventer inhaler. They help prevent asthma symptoms by reducing swelling and inflammation in the airways. There are several kinds of preventers. They usually contain a low dose of steroid medicine called corticosteroids. Taking your preventer inhaler regularly, usually twice a day, means you're less likely to have asthma symptoms, or asthma attacks. You should use it even if you're feeling well because the protective effect builds up over time.
