It may be a fungal infection. Wipe the area dry after a bath and use candid powder in the region for a week. If no improvement then see a dermatologist.

How to get rid of oral sensitivity, it gives a sharp and narrow pain for me. Sensodyne n other pastes only only satisfying the temporary pain but do not help in long run. Pls help me.

Teeth sensitivity is a result of loss of outer most layer (enamel) of teeth. That can be due to: - tooth grinding - acidic beverages (such as soda) that cause enamel erosion and dentin exposure. - brushing with a very abrasive toothpaste, brushing incorrectly and/or brushing more than three times a day could result in a loss of enamel. - a chipped or fractured tooth may expose the dentin. Here are few steps to avoid sensitivity of teeth: - practice good oral hygiene. - use a sensitivity toothpaste like sensodyne. - don't brush too hard. - use a softer toothbrush. - take care while consuming acidic foods. - use fluoridated dental products. - avoid grinding your teeth. - see your dentist regularly for professional tooth cleaning, dental care recommendations and advice on treating your sensitive teeth.

Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem kindly follow advises given below: you can take: 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error 4. We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis consult physician for further management.

Hello- It is simple enough, if your erection is not hard and stable during the insertion thn you might be suffering from Erectile dysfunction. It occurs due to false masturbation techniques, low dietary intake, irregular sleep schedule and work stress. It can be corrected only by improving the nourishment cycle of the genitals by consumption of herbal aphrodisiac medicines. These medicines improve the blood supply and hence make the penis strong and hard.

My neck's back side is paining.What can i do?

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am 70 years old. Since last 6 (six) years say diabetic is there. After that I am on insulin Human R and N as per advise and treatment of our family doctor. It is in control however my heart beat ranges between to 110 and some time it goes up to 128 too. I do have high bp and for that I take tallzy + minipress. Kindly advise me if you can.

First get your heart rate checked by someone else at absolute rest without smoking or preceding exercise or tea or coffee. You cannot check it yourself. Same thing holds good for b. P. Patient gets anxious while recording his own parameters and that itself will raise the pulse and b. P. If someone else examines and gets the same findings, then do the following. Please get a thyroid function test and cardiac evaluation. If both are normal, then consider changing minipress to another anti-hypertensive and do regular exercise.

Hello, if diabetes is in control, then fasting should be closer to 100 mg and pp 150 to 160 mg and hba1c% <6.8. If you are fit and sugar levels are normal there is no need to feel any of these symptoms. If possible you should move away from the chair after each 30 minute period for about 2 - 3 minutes, that should reduce the strain. Stand up or just walk a few steps. Learn relaxing techniques and use them at the end of the day so as to relieve all the stress.

Diet Tips for an Ectomorph

According to physiologists, human bodies are of three types: endomorph, mesomorph and ectomorph. Endomorphs are round and fat; they find it difficult to lose weight. Mesomorphs are neither too fat nor too thin; they can lose the weight they gain very easily. Ectomorphs are usually thin and tall; they can eat whatever they want without gaining much weight.

If you are an ectomorph and you wish to gain weight, the bad news is that it will be difficult for you. Your metabolic rate is too high and your muscle growth is comparatively lower. If you want to gain muscles, you need a comprehensive workout routine and the right diet. Along with the right training, you need to remember to eat from the three major food groups: carbohydrates, proteins and fats.

I. Carbohydrates: Carbohydrate is the main energy source for your body and you need 50-60 per cent of it in your daily intake. The foods you can include in your diet are as follows:

  1. Fruits
  2. Oatmeal
  3. Potatoes
  4. Yam
  5. Pasta
  6. Whole grain cereal
  7. Quinoa
  8. Vegetables

II. Proteins: Protein is the most important macronutrient (food you need in huge amounts in your diet). Protein plays an important part in repairing your body and building muscles. You need 1.5 grams of protein intake as per your bodyweight. Proteins you can eat include:

  1. Lean meat (Such as turkey or chicken)
  2. Fish (Such as halibut, tilapia, cod, etc.)
  3. Seafood (Such as crabs, prawns or lobsters)
  4. Eggs
  5. Skim milk
  6. Whey protein
  7. Cottage cheese

III. Fats: The correct fat intake will raise your testosterone levels (this hormone is responsible for muscle growth), protect the joints in your body, provide extra energy and improve your mood. You can add fat to your diet by consuming the following foods:

  1. Nuts
  2. Organic nut butter (Such as peanut butter or almond butter)
  3. Fatty fish such as salmon, sardines, trout, tuna, mackerel and herring
  4. Healthy oils (Such as olive oil, fish oil or flaxseed oil)
  5. Avocado

Non-veg., take whole grain,oats,green veg.,plenty of water in day time, 1 glass of water at night before bed. Take tab. Zyloric 100 mg once a day. Tab. Ulracet sos for pain in joints.

First get his kidney levels checked,since high BP is an indication of underlying kidney problem.there are medications to control,besides look out for hidden salt in processed,bakery and ready made foods. Take adequate water and ample rest to bring down the BP naturally.

1. Lose extra pounds and watch your waistline Blood pressure often increases as weight increases. Being overweight also can cause disrupted breathing while you sleep (sleep apnea), which further raises your blood pressure. Weight loss is one of the most effective lifestyle changes for controlling blood pressure. Losing just 4.5 kilograms can help reduce your blood pressure. Besides shedding weight, you generally should also keep an eye on your waistline. Carrying too much weight around your waist can put you at greater risk of high blood pressure. In general: • Men are at risk if their waist measurement is greater than 40 inches (102 centimeters). • Women are at risk if their waist measurement is greater than 35 inches (89 centimeters). These numbers vary among ethnic groups. Ask your doctor about a healthy waist measurement for you. 2. Exercise regularly Regular physical activity — at least 30 minutes most days of the week — can lower your blood pressure by 4 to 9 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg). It's important to be consistent because if you stop exercising, your blood pressure can rise again. If you have slightly high blood pressure (prehypertension), exercise can help you avoid developing full-blown hypertension. If you already have hypertension, regular physical activity can bring your blood pressure down to safer levels. The best types of exercise for lowering blood pressure include walking, jogging, cycling, swimming or dancing. Strength training also can help reduce blood pressure. Talk to your doctor about developing an exercise program. 3. Eat a healthy diet Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 mm Hg. It isn't easy to change your eating habits, but with these tips, you can adopt a healthy diet: • Keep a food diary. Writing down what you eat, even for just a week, can shed surprising light on your true eating habits. Monitor what you eat, how much, when and why. • Consider boosting potassium. Potassium can lessen the effects of sodium on blood pressure. The best source of potassium is food, such as fruits and vegetables, rather than supplements. Talk to your doctor about the potassium level that's best for you. • Be a smart shopper. Read food labels when you shop and stick to your healthy-eating plan when you're dining out, too. 4. Reduce sodium in your diet Even a small reduction in the sodium in your diet can reduce blood pressure by 2 to 8 mm Hg. The effect of sodium intake on blood pressure varies among groups of people. In general, limit sodium to less than 2,300 milligrams (mg) a day or less. However, a lower sodium intake — 1,500 mg a day or less — is appropriate for people with greater salt sensitivity, including: Anyone age 51 or older Anyone diagnosed with high blood pressure, diabetes or chronic kidney disease To decrease sodium in your diet, consider these tips: • Read food labels. If possible, choose low-sodium alternatives of the foods and beverages you normally buy. • Eat fewer processed foods. Only a small amount of sodium occurs naturally in foods. Most sodium is added during processing. • Don't add salt. Just 1 level teaspoon of salt has 2,300 mg of sodium. Use herbs or spices to add flavor to your food. • Ease into it. If you don't feel you can drastically reduce the sodium in your diet suddenly, cut back gradually. Your palate will adjust over time. 5. Limit the amount of alcohol you drink Alcohol can be both good and bad for your health. In small amounts, it can potentially lower your blood pressure by 2 to 4 mm Hg. But that protective effect is lost if you drink too much alcohol — generally more than one drink a day for women and for men older than age 65, or more than two a day for men age 65 and younger. One drink equals 12 ounces of beer, five ounces of wine or 1.5 ounces of 80-proof liquor. Drinking more than moderate amounts of alcohol can actually raise blood pressure by several points. It can also reduce the effectiveness of blood pressure medications.
