I am suffering from bad breath. Can you tell me the best solution to resolve it and I tried variety of tooth pastes but nothing improved.

BDS
Dentist, Vadodara
Bad breath can be due to accumulation of plaque or calculus, decay in teeth, dry mouth, sore throat, bad digestion, more intake of caffeinated and alcoholic drinks. Go for scaling and polishing. Brush twice daily and use a mouthwash. Reduce intake of caffeinated or alcoholic drinks. Avoid too spicy foods.

I have cavity in my tooth which give me pain during drinking water and eating. Otherwise pain is a little bit normal.

Bachelor of Dental Surgery, PGDHM
Dentist,
Hi Thank you for your query The cavity in your tooth should be restored. If it is a small cavity, normal restoration is enough. If the cavity is very deep, rct should be done. Do the treatment early to avoid its removal.

I had cavity in my molar I dentist removed that and suggested for root canal but now he is saying the tooth can't be saved because it is damaged badly and he is saying to remove it and to affix an artificial tooth I have 32 teeth in my mouth what I do now is this safe to affix an artificial tooth or should I stay without a molar tooth.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
You must go for replacement of the missing tooth always, either removable or fixed denture or implant. If left untreated, leads to drifting of the opposite and adjacent tooth towards the missing space.

Dentist,
For healthier teeth, flossing daily in a sawing motion is highly recommended. Take the floss to the point where the teeth meet the gums.

My mother (72year old) having a searious problem of pieria (a dental problem) what should I do?

Pyorrhoea is common in old age. Professional cleaning and polishing of teeth can be done for your mother. If that does not eliminate the problem completely, flap surgery is advisable. Thereafter proper brushing and diet should be followed to avoid recurrence.

How to keep the teeth white in colour Even after taking lot of care.. Can you please suggest me more tips to keep the teeth white.

MDS, BDS
Dentist, Hyderabad
Professional cleaning once in six months will help maintain your gums healthy. However, natural tooth color cannot be altered unless the teeth are grossly discoloured, such as having brown stains due to fluoride or tetracyclin.

Pimple like something appears on the root of my teeth and then a liquid starts flowing out of it please give me suggestion to get rid of it.

MDS
Dentist, Lucknow
Well in this case you might be suffering from tooth abscess or dental abscess. It is caused by any trauma in mouth causing dislodged or fractured tooth followed by bacterial infection over it thus accumulation of pus is there. You should immediately consult local dentist for root canal treatment in which damaged tissue is removed wth pus drainage.
