I have problem of nightblindness what are the effects n symptoms of this please provide steps for curing.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
I have problem of nightblindness what are the effects n symptoms of this please provide steps for curing.
Night blindness is due to a disorder of the cells in the retina that are responsible for vision in dim light. It has many causes, including: • Short-sightedness • Glaucoma medications that work by constricting the pupil • Cataracts • Retinitis pigmentosa • Vitamin A deficiency Treatment for night blindness will depend upon its cause. Treatment may be as simple as a new prescription for your glasses or switching glaucoma medications, or it may require surgery in cases of cataracts Dietary Management For Night Blindness Vitamins A, C and E are potent antioxidants which slow down age related macular degeneration and help maintain healthy tissues and cells in the eyes. Vitamins C and E may also inhibit the development or progression of cataracts. Lutein and zeaxanthin are two antioxidants called carotenoids, which help in neutralizing free radicals and maintaining eye health. Sources of Vitamin A: Yellow-orange fruits and vegetables such as carrots, mango, papaya, pumpkin, dark green leafy vegetables, broccoli, eggs, milk and milk products. Vitamin A can be stored in your body, so you can opt for your favorite seasonal foods! Sources of Vitamin C: Citrus fruits such as oranges, tangerines and grapefruit, peppers, tomatoes, kiwis, gooseberries, strawberries and Brussels sprouts. Sources of Vitamin E: Nuts like almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, fortified oils, seeds, eggs, milk and dairy. Sources of Lutein: Green leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, broccoli and chard, yellow peppers, mango and bilberries. Sources of Zeaxanthin: Oranges, tangerines, eggs, spinach, dark green lettuce, corn, broccoli and orange sweet peppers. For maximizing the benefits of the above vegetables, it is best to have then lightly cooked rather than raw. Cooking or steaming breaks down the cells, making it simpler for the body to absorb these nutrients from the foods. Aim to eat at least 2 to 4 servings or more of these foods every day to ensure that you are getting enough of these 5 powerful nutrients.

I am a 32 year male live in haldwani nainital uttarakhand since my childhood. I am asking a solution for a problem I am suffering from loose motion since around 40 -45 days please advise me about the solution of the problem what should be done now.

LCPS, BAM&S
General Physician, Pune
Diarrhoea is usually caused by infection by some germs. You need to take a full course of anti-germ medicines, which are available with any qualified family physician. Visit them and complete the course. You will be normal in just about a week. If loose motions persists after that then some other uncommon causes like ulcerative colitis can be thought of.

I have suffer from hair fall and 40% hair fall. I use keshking oil and shampoo. please given solution.
Hair fall is mainly due to hormonal and genetic factors. There are no homeremedies that vil help or quick responses for it. It can definitely be controlled. It's important to eat plenty of pulses, fish, meat and milk. Drink at least two litres water everyday. Exercise regularly. Don't stress out because you don't have long hair or because your hair's falling. Avoid all forms of chemicals, hot devices and blowdryers to prevent hair damage. Massage scalp and wash twice or thrice a week. Don't overshampoo, it'll spoil hair. Don't tie up wet hair and sleep, it'll get infected. If any infections, g et it treated. A thorough blood check up is needed to eliminate autoimmune, hormonal and nutritional diseases.

How do avoid dark circles.

BHMS
Homeopath,
How do avoid dark circles.
Hi. Dark circles can be temporary (means happens after any recent or chronic diseases or underlying medical condition, allergies, sinus infections and nasal congestions, lower eyelid laxity, fluid retention, hormonal imbalances, hyperpigmentation, aging, sun-exposure, insufficient sleep, worm-infestation, nutritional deificiency, working long hrs. on computer, lack of rest, stress/ tension, etc.) which can be improved by fixing the underlying cause or the problem or can be inherited from your parent's genes which can't be treated or cured! Management: Eat healthy and on time. Avoid junk. Drink plenty of water (as dehydration can cause dull or patchy skin). Sleep well. Wear anti-glare spectacles while working on computer. The area under your eyes has very sensitive skin, so never use chemical bleach. Reduce your stress/ tension through yoga, meditation or any other exercises (it not only improves your blood circulation, but also reduces the production of stress hormones by the body as well as increases happy hormones in the body). Use sunglasses regularly when you are in the sun and not to forget to apply a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare Sunscreen liberally, 20-30 minutes before stepping out in the sun and apply the same again after 3-4 hours if you have exposure to sunlight for long hours. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Cina 1M/ one dose daily at night for 10 days. Schwabe's Alfalafa Tonic/ 1 tsp thrice a day daily for 20 days and revert me back about the condition. Apply Bakson's Under Eye Cream twice daily (in morning and at night) and Medicynth's Whitch Hazel cream - in morning and at night daily.

We all are aware of the fact that our height increases up to a particular age and then it comes to a halt. Height increases up to the age of 18years in women and up to the age of 20 years in men. Increase in height is attributed to the production of growth hormone, called the HGH( Human Growth Hormone), which is secreted by the pituitary gland called the master gland of our body. It is rather difficult to increase height after reaching adulthood as the production of these hormones slowly stops. In most cases, the epiphyses of the long bones are fused as the last bits of cartilaginous tissue in the bones turn into solid hard bones. This prevents any further growth in longer bones. However, if the hormones are released naturally, increase in height can be observed. Increase in height at your age depends upon a no. of factors like 1.Heriditary factor 2.Recorded any increase in height in last 6 months 3.Amount of effort you are putting in for increase in height 4.How much serious are you for your height 5.Will you give 100% if I show you a direction 6.Just do your bit with full determination and leave the rest to time, exercises and medicines. Consult me Fast for Homoeopathic consultation as you short of time

1. Most important thing is to have an ample amount of rest as a routine part of your life. Sleep for at least 8 hours. You can also take a 30-45 mins nap after your lunch. 2. Limit your screen life. Take breaks while working on computer and wash eyes frequently with cold water. 3. Wash your face twice with a good cleanser like tea tree face wash and use soothing toner like rose water or tea tree after that. 4. Use Kojic Acid based cream below eyes for at least 4 months to help lighten your dark circles.

Fever is not considered medically significant until body temperature is above 100.4 F (38 C). Fever serves as one of the body's natural defenses against bacteria and viruses which cannot live at a higher temperatures..Also, the body's defense mechanisms seem to work more efficiently at a higher temperature -Fevers of 104 F (40 C) or more may be dangerous and demand immediate treatment The following medications may be used at home for mild fever : -Acetaminophen (dolo-650 mg) twice or thrice can be used to lower a fever . Aspirin should not be used in children during a viral illness. -Wear comfortable loose fitting clothes and donot overdress. Overdressing can cause the temperature to rise further. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) baths may help bring down a fever -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -Fever can cause dehydration.Drink plenty of fluids.Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami,Amla juice etc. -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals .avoid outside food -Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water especially before meals, or after returning from a public places or using public transport. -Further therapy depends on the cause of fever like urinary infection/typhoid or malaria/dengue infection and the accompanying symptoms that need to be investigated and treated accordingly

I sweat a lot. Even when I climb one floor of stairs I start sweat profusely. And after I getting seated it takes sometime for it to stop. I've noticed that I sweat more than other people near me. I sweat even when i'm not nervous or anxious or anything. Since sweating is considered a sign of nervousness, in a professional environment i'm concerned about this. Is there something that can be done about it?

PGD IN ULTRAASONOGRAPHY, Non invasive cardiology course, MD - Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Narnaul
Sweating is the body's way of cooling off and almost always normal, if slightly annoying. We tend to sweat in response to warmer temperatures or when we exert ourselves, be it a brisk walk on a hot summer day, carrying three weeks’ worth of laundry up three flights of stairs or working out on an elliptical trainer. When sweat glands get ambitious, however, and sweating becomes excessive, it can be a source of embarrassment and is known as hyperhidrosis. Before you go on WebMD and diagnose yourself with diabetes, lung disease or cancer — all of which may cause excessive sweating in some people — take a look at what could be causing your sweat glands to work double-time. Medical conditions Let’s get the scary ones out of the way. First, excessive sweating — read: you sweat excessively even in an air-conditioned room while at rest — is called “hyperhidrosis.” Excessive sweating may also be the underlying cause of various medical conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, Parkinson’s disease and cancer. Before you assume the worst, take a look at your medical history and keep a chart of when your sweat glands kick into overdrive. Keeping a diary will give you a clear picture of how often and when you are sweating profusely. Are you sweating even when you are sitting in an air-conditioned room or when you are walking at leisure in the dead of winter? If so, it may be a good idea to head to doctor to confirm what’s causing it. If it’s happening in the summertime because humidity has declared war on you or after you’ve had the three-alarm chili from your favorite place, then you can probably breathe easy. Still, if you are concerned that there might be something terribly amiss, log off the interwebs and off to the doctor with you — and arrange for a second opinion while you’re at it. Medication Not surprisingly, just as your excessive sweating may be the result of a medical condition, it may also be the result of a medication you are taking. Make a list of all prescription and over-the-counter medication you are taking and sit down with your doctor to sort out which, if any, might be making you look like you just ran a marathon in 100% humidity. Stress Stress is a formidable opponent. It often plays dirty and causes an assortment of issues with our bodies, profuse sweating being one of them. Of course, someone who is already self-conscious about sweating excessively will likely stress out at the first sign of sweat droplets and end up sweating even more. Who needs a sauna when you can just worry about your final exam being on the same day your thesis is due and then worry some more about the ever-expanding sweat stains forming in your armpit area? Hormones It may be easy to dismiss hormone fluctuations as problems only pregnant of menopausal women have to go through, but hormones can act up in anyone regardless of age or gender, particularly if something is up with your thyroid gland. Hormone fluctuations can lead to profuse sweating. Extra weight No, this does not mean that if you are super fit or very thin you are exempt from profuse sweating. Overactive sweat glands are not the exclusive domain of people carrying extra weight around. That said, someone who is overweight will have a tendency to sweat a bit more than usual simply because the body is exerting itself more to compensate for those extra pounds. Increased blood flow can cause excessive sweating. Losing weight, therefore, might help keep those hyper sweat glands in check. Drastic measures Botox ain’t for the smooth, if expressionless, masses anymore. Apparently, injecting the ole Botox into problem areas can help curb profuse sweating. Herbal remedies also claim to help with excessively sweaty palms, soles and armpits. Sage is said to be one such remedy. A word of caution: There is such a thing as overdosing on sage, so before you decide to embark on herbal remedies of any kind, talk to your medical doctor — the science guy — and make sure it’s a safe game plan that won’t end up hurting you. Safer measures Antibacterial soaps and deodorants are your friend. And consider applying deodorant to those parts of you that tend to sweat more as the temperatures climb and the humidity shows no mercy. It’s not just for your armpits, you know. Carry deodorant with you so you can re-apply as needed. Some people recommend baby powder or corn starch, but that can get messy for some. If powder is not for you, consider applying deodorant to the soles of your feet, the palms of your hand and any other problem areas. Look into getting absorbent insoles, too. When you shower, dry yourself off completely with a clean towel. Don’t dress while you’re still damp because you’ll only end up feeling damper than you actually are. Put that sweet, retro polyester suit away, and wear lose, comfortable clothing made of breathable fabric, such as cotton. It’s not the case with everyone across the board, but if you see an uptick in your sweating after drinking hot, caffeinated beverages or eating spicy food, then cut back. Don’t worry. Winter is coming. Eventually. And you can go back to enjoying your hot café latte and spicy tuna in no time. In the meantime, if the day star during summer is the only time you shy away from those button-down shirts for fear of pit stains, then try your best to keep to the shade and take refuge at the nearest air-conditioned room you can find.
