I have diabetes type 2 for the last 14 years. My latest blood sugar reading is FBS 137 and PP2 216. HBA1c is around 8. I take a balanced diet without sugar. I also do 30 minutes of brisk walking and another 20 to 30 minutes of exercises daily. The medication taken by me is one tab Gemer 2 and one tab Pioglit 30mg during breakfast, one tab Gemer 2 during lunch and one tablet Tenglyn 20 before bedtime on a daily basis. I wish to know what further steps I need to take to reverse the diabetic condition. I also wish to know the changes if any required in the medication that I am at presently taking.

Hi lybrate-user your sugar levels are ok however it can still be improved. I advise to increase their exercise/medication to 40 minutes. Space the meals and consume lot of vegetables (like cabbage, cucumber, cauliflower etc) do regular meditation wish you good health

3 montly HbA1c, once a month fasting glucose and 2 hours after lunch glucose testing is sufficient in a stable patient with T2DM reasonable controlled blood glucose. More frequent monitoring needed in uncontrolled diabetes

To get relief from migraine- * give a balanced diet with vegetables, cereals, milk, fruits. Sit in the sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes daily. * do bhramari pranayam twice a day. * practice sarwangasan and shirshasan under the guidance of yoga expert. * sit with the gyan mudra in hands. * take rogan badam (almond oil) and put it 1/2 tea spoon in a glass of milk and drink it in the morning. * if the headache is very severe & untolerable then you can take a tablet of paracetamol or ibuprofen. * you can take 2 teaspoon of shankhpushpi syrup in the morning.

Your must have developed allergy to something. Try to figure out the use of any new med or soap or body lotion. Stop its use immediately. Homoeopathic med show wonderful result in such cases.

Dear lybrate-user, there are multiple possibilities which are responsible for motions and yellow urine. First of all you need to do is drink water, ors, lemon water. In diarrhoea the body looses its water so the urine is concentrated and it becomes yellow so this yellow urine may be because increased motion. Have one cup of strong coffee this will help in controlling motions. If the diarrhoea is still not in control then consultation is required.
