I have receding hair line and severe hair fall due to which my scalp is visible. I have started consuming 3 litres water per day. Vegetable salads. Cut down junk food completely. Due to the salads lost weight in 4 days which I don't want it to happen. Been taking oral fish liver oil capsules. Was consuming biotin forte. Ended up with severe hair fall and acne so stopped. Externally I oil my hair and use onion juice and hair packs. My bald patches r visible and how can I treat my receding hair line? Please suggest and help.

Hair Transplant Procedures

MBBS, Diploma in Venerology & Dermatology (DVD), Diplomate of National Board (Dermatology)

Hair Transplant Procedures

Hair Transplant procedures are used to fill in the bald spots by removing tiny strands of hair from the regions which have thick hair growth (also called the donor region) and implanting the hair follicles on the spots that have become bald )also called the recipient region). Now-a-days, hair transplant physicians make the use of various techniques for hair transplantation. Two such primary methods are FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) and FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) and they fundamentally differ in the way your hair follicles are being extracted from the donor region.

  1. Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) - The FUT process requires the removal of tiny strips of tissue from the back of your head; the spot from where the hair follicles of the donor would be extracted. The hair follicles would be collected from the strip by a team of clinical experts before they are individually transplanted to the recipient region. In many cases, especially in cases of advanced hair loss, FUT is the most favored method since it fully utilizes the scalp area to deliver results in consistency with the expectations of the patient. FUT permits a greater number of grafts to be transferred in a single session. But the FUT strip extraction may lead to the formation of narrow linear scars at the back of your head.

  2. Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) - In this kind of hair transplantation, each follicular unit is removed individually from the scalp but no tissue strip is taken off. With no stitches needed and no linear scars at the site, FUE methods make healing faster, thus giving you less discomfort in comparison with the traditional FUT procedure.

The method best suited for you would depend on the quality and amount of the donor hair, the size of the thinning hair and the site of hair loss. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor and ask a free question.

Hello. The cream you mentioned and many other over the counter fairness creams use steroids for their gain. These creams do give immediate results, but make you dependent on them and on prolonged use causes many side effects like skin thinning and blemishes etc. Avoiding such creams is the best thing what you can do. But you already have the spots then you can go for laser rejuvenation to remove these unwanted spots. Either way its better you go for a personal consultation with a skin specialist. U can consult me with the pics as well.

Be specific what you apply on your face. Anti acne face wash can help you. Do not put hair oil. Wash your scalp everyday. Avoid dandruff. Don't use sunscreen for now as it can cause acne. Avoiding oily & spicy food, over consumption of chocolates and coffee will help.

First of all I want to tell you. Why you are worrying on having one or two pimples on your face. Your mind should be cool and fearless always to face anything. Pimples are common on these ages due to hormonal fluctuations. It will go by itself without any applications or home remedies. Applying creams or too much fear and stress worse the pimples more. Use pears or dove soap and wash the face normally not more than 3 times in a day. Drink more water and take one glass of lemon juice daily. Don't prick or touch the pimples. Don't spend too much time Infront of mirror. If periods are irregular please do Ultrasound scanning abdomen and pelvis to rule out pcos. If condition is persisting we can treat very simply with HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINES with no side effects at all within 2 to 4 weeks time duration. For further information please contact me through online Lybrate. Don't worry .May God bless you.
