Dear user. I can understand. If you have irregular period or are not sure when you ovulated, you can do a URINE HOME PREGNANCY TEST 14 days after you last had unprotected sex. However for accuracy of result, it is recommended to do the test 21 days after intercourse. To TEST PREGNANCY AT HOME simply add urine to a small piece of soap, if froth forms, or if the soap bubbles up, the test is positive. Mix ¼ cup of tuna juice and ¼ cup of vinegar in a plastic cup. Now pee in a separate cup and then add your urine to this mixture. After a few minutes, if the color changes to green, then you are pregnant. Take care.

Ipill being a hormonal tablet can disturb your cycles as it upsets the hormonal balance in the body you can repeat the pregnancy test or get a ultrasound done to rule out pregnancy.

Few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast, khaari ,naan ,white bread. Can drink tea but without sugar say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water.

Mild bleeding post cu t insertion is common but if it lingers for a long time Then please contact your gynaecologist. Yes it is a good method of contraception.

Ipill is known for causing hormonal imbalance and as of now I will suggest you to wait for the periods to come on its own and follow up after two weeks for further guidance

Use of antibiotics do not warrant discontinuation of breastfeeding. You can start weaning with home diet and continue breastfeeding.

अलसी लिनेसी परिवार से संबंधित हैं और वनस्पति रूप से लिनम् युसिटेटिसिमम् के रूप में जाना जाता है। अलसी हजारों वर्षों से भोजन के रूप में उपयोग किया गया है। अलसी छोटे, भूरा, सुनहरे रंग के बीज हैं। यह दुनिया में अल्फा-लिनोलेनिक एसिड (ए.एल.ए) नामक पौधे आधारित ओमेगा -3 फैटी एसिड का सबसे अमीर स्रोत है। 
ओमेगा 3 फैटी एसिड के अलावा, अलसी फाइबर, प्रोटीन, विटामिन बी 1, मैंगनीज, मैग्नीशियम, फास्फोरस और सेलेनियम का अच्छा स्रोत है। अलसी में विटामिन बी 6, आयरन, पोटेशियम, तांबे और जिंक की भी अच्छी मात्रा होती है। अलसी के बारे में एक और अनोखी तथ्य यह है कि वे मानव आहार में लिग्नांस का सबसे अच्छा स्रोत हैं।
 

अलसी के लाभ
अलसी के पोषण और स्वास्थ्य लाभ निम्नानुसार हैं:
1. फाइबर का बहुत अच्छा स्रोत: 
अलसी के सबसे असाधारण लाभों में से एक यह है कि, इसमे उच्च स्तर में म्यूसीजियम गम सामग्री हैं। म्यूसीज एक जेल बनाने वाला फाइबर है जो पानी में घुलनशील है और आंत्र पथ पर इसका अविश्वसनीय प्रभाव है। म्यूसीज पेट में भोजन को छोटी आंत में बहुत जल्दी से खाली करने से बचा सकता है जो पोषक तत्व अवशोषण को बढ़ा सकता है। 
साथ ही, दोनों घुलनशील और अघुलनशील फाइबर में अलसी अत्यंत उच्च है जो बृहदान्त्र विषाक्तता, वसा हानि और चीनी की लालच को कम कर सकते हैं।
2. वजन कम करने के लिए: चूंकि अलसी स्वस्थ वसा और फाइबर से भरे हुए हैं, इससे आपको बहुत अधिक संतुष्ट महसूस करने में मदद मिलेगी ताकि आप कुल मिलाकर कम कैलोरी खा सकें, जिससे वजन कम हो सकता है। ए.एल.ए वसा भी सूजन को कम करने में मदद कर सकता है।
3. कोलेस्ट्रॉल स्तर को बनाए रखने के लिए: अलसी बीज की घुलनशील फाइबर सामग्री पाचन तंत्र में वसा और कोलेस्ट्रॉल को जाल में डालती है ताकि इसे अवशोषित नहीं किया जा सके। घुलनशील फाइबर पित्त को भी फंसाता है, जो पित्ताशय की थैली में कोलेस्ट्रॉल से बना होता है।
पित्त को फिर पाचन तंत्र के माध्यम से उत्सर्जित किया जाता है, जिससे शरीर को और पित्त बनाने के लिए मजबूर किया जाता है। इससे रक्त में अतिरिक्त कोलेस्ट्रॉल का प्रयोग होता है और कुल कोलेस्ट्रॉल कम होता है।
4. कैंसर के लिए: अलसी में एंटीऑक्सीडेंट कैंसर से सुरक्षा प्रदान करते हैं। हाल के अध्ययनों से यह निष्कर्ष निकाला गया है कि अलसी स्तन, प्रोस्टेट और पेट के कैंसर के विकास के जोखिम को कम कर सकते हैं। अलसी में उपस्थित लिग्नांस में प्रतिजन गुण होते हैं और ट्यूमर द्वारा नए रक्त कोशिकाओं के निर्माण को रोकते हैं।
अलसी की खपत स्तन कैंसर रोगियों में जीवित रहने की दर में वृद्धि कर सकती है।
5. त्वचा के लिए: अलसी और इसके तेल में कई त्वचा के अनुकूल पोषक तत्व होते हैं जो त्वचा के स्वास्थ्य में सुधार करने में मदद कर सकते हैं। लिग्नान और ओमेगा 3 फैटी एसिड के उच्च स्तर, स्वस्थ मल त्याग को बढ़ावा देते हैं और त्वचा रोगों को रोकते हैं। ओमेगा 3 फैटी एसिड त्वचा कोशिकाओं के स्वस्थ विकास के लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हैं। अलसी में उपस्थित लिग्नांस शरीर में मौजूद डी.एन.एच.टी के स्तर को कम करके त्वचा की उपस्थिति में सुधार करने के लिए सहायता करते हैं।
अलसी की नियमित खपत, त्वचा की जलन, चकत्ते, सूजन और लालिमा को सफलतापूर्वक कम कर सकती है। अलसी में आवश्यक फैटी एसिड त्वचा को हाइड्रेटेड और मॉइस्चराइज करते रहें, इस प्रकार मुँहासे, जिल्द की सूजन और छालरोग जैसी त्वचा की समस्याओं को रोकते है।
6. बालों के लिए: अलसी में मौजूद ओमेगा 3 फैटी एसिड की उच्च मात्रा बालों के लोच में वृद्धि करता है और उन्के टूटने की संभावना कम करता है। अलसी के विरोधी भड़काऊ गुण रूसी, एक्जिमा और अन्य स्कैल्प स्थितियों की संभावना को कम करते है। अलसी खोपड़ी में सीबम के उत्पादन को प्रोत्साहित करते हैं, इस प्रकार फलक और रूसी को रोकते हैं।
यह किणयुक्त खालित्य को रोकने में भी उपयोगी है, एक स्थायी बालों के झड़ने की स्थिति।
 

अलसी के दुष्प्रभाव
1 अलसी में बहुत अधिक कैलोरी होती हैं और बड़ी मात्रा में उपभोग से रेचक प्रभाव हो सकता है। 
2 जब्ती विकार से पीड़ित लोगों को अलसी की खुराक से बचना चाहिए क्योंकि इससे हालत और बिगड़ सकती है।
3 अलसी में साइनाइड यौगिकों की थोड़ी मात्रा होती है, जिससे शरीर पर न्यूरोटॉक्सिक प्रभाव पड़ सकता है। इसलिए, इसका बड़ी मात्रा में उपभोग नहीं किया जाना चाहिए।
4 अलसी के अन्य दुष्प्रभावों में खुजली, चकत्ते और सांस की तकलीफ शामिल है।

Exercise/yoga during pregnancy exercise 1: walking is a safe exercise but wear non-slippery shoes with padded soles. 1. Exercise 2: do some'light' exercises as that will help your body and mind. Avoid postures that involve heavy use of abdominal muscles and backward bend. Exercise strengthens your abdominal and pelvic muscles which promotes an easy delivery. 2. While exercising, change your position slowly to avoid sudden jerks. Do not exercise if you are not feeling well or feel any pain. 3. Light yoga, meditation and breathing exercises like pranayam help immensely 4. Consult your doctor before you start exercising and especially if you have diabetes, heart disease or asthma. Folic acid during pregnancy 1. Folic acid vitamin is highly recommended as it reduces risk of brain/spinal cord defects. 2. Also helps in blood and protein production. It also helps in development of nervous system. 3. Extremely beneficial during early weeks of pregnancy- especially first three months. 4. Green leafy vegetables, peas, beans, nuts, orange juice, strawberry, banana, nuts, pulses. 5. Recommended dose of folic acid is about 0.4 mg (400 microgram) every day until you are 12 weeks pregnant. Essential vitamins during pregnancy: 1. Vitamin a: essential during 2nd trimester (4th to 6th months of pregnancy). Do not take supplements containing more than 3000 iu of vitamin a. Sources of vitamin a: (a) vegetables: carrot (gajar), potato (aaloo), tomato (tamaatar), cabbage (patta gobhi). (b) fruits: mango (aam), banana (kela), guava (amrood), papaya (papita). (c) food: whole wheat products, peanuts, yogurt (dahi), milk, butter and cheese. 2. Vitamin b6: especially essential during 2nd trimester (4th to 6th months of pregnancy). Sources (a) vegetables: carrot (gajar), peas (matar), potato (aaloo), spinach (palak), cabbage (patta gobhi), green leafy vegetables. (b) fruits: banana (kela), dry fruits/nuts, apricot (khubani), apple. (c) food: eggs, fish, beans, whole grains, milk, whole wheat bread and pulses (daal). 3. Vitamin c: especially essential during 2nd trimester (4th to 6th months of pregnancy). Sources of vitamin c: (a) vegetables: broccoli (hari phoolgobhi), cucumber, tomato, spinach (palak), lemon (nimbu), onion (pyaaz), peas (matar), green vegetables. (b) fruits: orange (santra), pineapple, mango, apple, grapes, banana, kiwi, lychee, papaya (papita), peach (adau), pear, plum (aloo bukhara), strawberry, lime juice. 4. Vitamin d:). Especially essential during 2nd trimester (4th to 6th months of pregnancy). Sources of vitamin d: (a) vegetables: sweet potato (shakkar kandi). One may take'cod liver oil' capsules or vit-d supplements. (b) food: fish, milk, soyabean powder, yogurt (dahi), butter, egg yolk (yellow portion of egg) and direct sunlight. 5. Vitamin b12 especially essential during 2nd and 3rd trimesters (4th to 9th months of pregnancy sources of vitamin b12: (a) vegetables: none. (b) fruits: none. (c) food: eggs, brown rice, fish, yogurt (dahi), milk and milk products like cheese, cow and soy milk food and essential minerals during pregnancy--------- 1. Many woman feel that they need to eat for two as they are carrying a baby inside. This should not be the case and usually leads to weight gain after baby is delivered. You only need to increase your intake of iron, calcium, folic acid and essential vitamins. Avoid spicy and deep fried food. 2. Pregnancy is not the time for dieting as the pregnant mother and the baby may not get enough nutrients. 3. Emphasis should not be on over-feeding, but on having nutritious food. A normal woman needs about 1600-2200 calories a day and experts recommend not more than 300 calories extra for pregnant women. Special precautions from 4th month of pregnancy: 1. Proteins: especially essential during 3rd trimester (7th to 9th months of pregnancy). For growth, repair of muscle, skin, hair and body tissues. Protein deficiency leads to low immunity, hairfall, feeling of tiredness. Proteins are not stored in our body as any excess protein is converted to energy or fat. (a) major protein sources: egg white (white portion), milk, soybeans/soymilk, fish, cheese, tofu. (b) other protein sources: beans with wheat, nuts, curd, yogurt (dahi) 2. Carbohydrates our main source of energy. Stored in liver and muscles. Carbohydrates are used the most by our body duringexercise. Hence, it is important during pregnancy to consume a diet rich in carbohydrates. (a) instant/rapid carbohydrates energy sources: banana, milk, sweets, sugarcane juice. (b) slow carbohydrates energy sources: beans, bread, cereals, potato, pulses, rice. 3. Iron: especially essential during 2nd trimester (4th to 6th months of pregnancy). Helps in production of haemoglobin and transportation of oxygen to blood cells. 1. Largest mineral found in our blood which also helps in producing energy. 2. If taking iron and vitamin c supplements, do not take them at the same time but after a gap of about 3 hours. Taking vitamin c tablet helps in absorbing iron. Sources of iron: 1. Vegetables: spinach, dark green leafy vegetables, lentils (daal). 2. Fruits: avocados (makhanphal), peach (adau), pear (nashpati), pumpkin (kaddu), raisin (kishmish), pomegranate (anaar). 3. Food: eggs, fish, meat, cereals, almonds (badam), whole wheat bread, soybean. 4. Calcium 1. Helps form strong bones, teeth, healthy gums, muscle growth and prevents muscle cramps. 2. Taking a small dose an hour before bedtime helps achieve sound sleep. Sources of calcium: 1. Vegetables: cabbage, dark green leafy vegetables, broccoli, figs (anjeer), flax seeds (san beej). Food: eggs, milk, dairy products, yogurt (dahi), almonds (badam), soybeans/soymilk.
