Dear lybrate user, take homoeopathic mother tincture withania somnifera q, 30 drops, thrice daily, after meals in a cup of water. Try to get a un-interrupted sleep of 8 hours daily. Drink a lots of water daily. If you have a habit of masturbation then you should not masturbate for more than twice in a week. Abstain from any type of addiction if you have any. Along with medicines you can also try a home therapy to boost your sexual performance. Soak 4-5 dry dates (khurma khajur) in a cup of lukewarm milk before going to bed daily. On waking up next morning eat those soaked dry dates & discard the milk. Repeat the process daily. This therapy often gives effective result within 15 days.

How to be safe from heatstrokes. In summer how we can stay safe and move from heat to cold easily?
Avoid sun with the help of black umbrella only. Don't come to ac room as soon as coming home. Go to a room fitted with cooler instead. Drink lots of water of ors variety, eat less salts and fried foods, take lots of water rich fruits and vegetables like melons and cucumber and wear cottons only. Maintain basic hygiene by taking bath. If exposed to sun for long hours rest and ors types of water is the only therapy. No medicines, prevention is the mantra.

Hi, I am 28 year old and suffering with high blood sugar levels. Also suffering with urine infection, excessive thirst and hunger. Before 5 months I had a hba1c test and level was 7.5 after that I faced stressful situation and also high fever and have weight loss of 4 kg. Before 6 years I have gall stone laproscopy surgery. Generally my sugar levels are 250 at morning and between 250 to 300 or plus in night. Please suggest me something.

BHMS
Homeopath, Surat
You have uncontrolled sugar. Please avoid sweets and sugar from your diet. Avoid ripe fruits like mango, etc. Increase intake of salad in your daily meal. Start walking half hour daily as routine. Do some yoga and pranayama. It will help you a lot. Consult endocrinologist to start any medication to control your sugar. Please never take it light as your are of young age. If you take care of your self and do necessary steps and everything will be alright. Just you have to change some basic life style and food habits. And you win over diabetes.

Doctor informed me that the reason for diabetes is low Insulin production. What's the reason for this type behaviour of insulin and once insulin production become inadequate, which solution trigger it to start reproduction of insulin naturally again?

MBBS, CCEBDM, Diploma in Diabetology, Diploma in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, Cetificate Course In Thyroid Disorders Management (CCMTD)
Endocrinologist, Hubli-Dharwad
Doctor informed me that the reason for diabetes is low Insulin production. What's the reason for this type behaviour ...
Thanks for the query. You are right about low insulin production in diabetes. There are usually two main types of diabetes - T1 DM where there is totally No Insulin production. This happens due to destruction of beta cells present in pancreas, due to an autoimmune process. Type 2, which more common variery is due either to lack of insulin or increased resistance to its action, mainly due to increased fat and inactivity. When T2 diabetes is detected by that time almost 50% of beta cells are dead. So there is hardly any chance for revival of insulin production returning to normal. Plus excess blood glucose and high fat further damage insulin producing cells. However, strict blood glucose control, proper diet and regular exercise and maintaining normal weight does improve some insulin production. Thanks.

A lesser-known side effect of Diabetes is increased risk of hair loss.It can be directly or indirectly related to Diabetes.

Hair loss can start with beginning of Diabetes. Many times it Diabetes warning sign.Anyone with unusual hair loss should talk to a doctor.

POTENTIAL CAUSES OF HAIR LOSS

1.Diabetes causes damage to the small blood vessels thus limits oxygen and nutrients reaching the the scalp.Undernourished hair follicles (roots) gets weaken and loose their grip causing hair loss

2.Diabetes can cause fluctuations hormone production. This imbalance of hormones affects the growth cycle of hair.

3.Diabetes weakens immune system. In such situation scalp is more susceptible to fungal and bacterial infections leading hair loss.

4.Diabetes can slow the body’s cell regeneration time, disturbing the growth cycle of hair.

5.Illness, stress or hormonal fluctuations can cause hair to enter the resting phase, leading to diffuse thinning of the hair.

6. The hair loss could be caused by conditions not related or indirectly related to Diabetes. For example Thyroid dysfunction.

Hair loss becomes permanent when the hair follicles are destroyed, so early diagnosis and treatment are important.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

1.Good Diabetes control. This allows hormones to balance, immune system to strengthen, and the hair growth cycle to get back on track.

If you notice unusual hair loss, see your Diabetologist Doctor to determine whether the shedding is related to Diabetes.
If the shedding is a medication side effect, a prescription change is the obvious solution.

SOME HAIR CARE TIPS

1.Use hair brushes with widely spaced bristles

2.Minimal use of hair dryers and curling irons.

3.Avoid braids or ponytails that pull on the scalp.

4.Avoid products with harsh chemicals such as perms, hair straighteners, or dyes.

5.Protect the hair from sun, wind, and chlorine exposure.

6.Eat a well-balanced diet.

7.Exercise regularly to promote optimal circulation

8.Use relaxation techniques for stress reduction.

Hair shedding can diminish self-esteem and sometimes leads to social anxiety or depression. So act wisely and smartly.

Is it possible to remove a dark brownish coloured birthmark, if yes then how much will it cost?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery), MD

Dear Sonali, Birth marks are most of the time permanent marks. They certainly can be removed with modern methods but surely not permanently. The claim should be augmented with proper deal on stamp papers.
