My daughter is 11 years old. She is not interested in normal food. Fast food and chocolates are her favourite choice. If we tried to stop her she went to bed with emty stomach. We are in great trouble with her food habits. She is suffering from constipation. Obesity is also the another problem. Her teeth are affected. Sometimes bleeding is found in her gum. What can I do in this regard.

She needs counselling. If she doesn't agree, you have to be little bit strict. Let her be empty stomach for some hours. Child can not stay empty stomach for a long period of time. She knows that you will make her do whatever she wants, that is why she goes to sleep empty stomach. If you do not change this habit, you will face many diseases in future. Tell her you will give chocolates during lunch and dinner time with the food but frequent snacking should be changed. That's the major reason for having so many troubles.

Hello Healthy change in diet & regimen can check your hair fall. Eat food which are rich in fibre it will increase digestion as most common cause of hair fall is indigestion. Eat food which are rich in protein like sprouts , nuts. Wash hair with aritha 2 times in week . Thanks

Due to excessive thinking of financial status. You are getting stress it leads to depression. Do not think about financial problems. I have also so many financial problems. But I never think about it excessively. If we think it may solve then we think. It will not solved. Our mood disturbed. We are not working properly for further aspects. So do not think seriously about it. It may solve slowly up to that wait. Till date comes. We are normal human beings we do mistakes it is common. Based on mistakes we do take further steps but we do not think about it seriously. Like me do not think. Do not use any medicines. It may give further problems and side effects. Take rest. Share the feelings with your friends and family members. Do not sit alone. Be sociable. Be happy all the time. Best of luck.

I want to reduce significant amount of weight. In my busy schedule I have no time to exercise even. But now I want to start afresh. Want to know what comes under low calorie food? That could turn to be a staple diet n quench hunger equally and help reduce weight? Also want to know about exercises that could actually help and schedule of doing them.

When it comes to weight/ fat loss it's all about being sensible with food. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week or whenever possible. Exercise should be anything that you enjoy and can manage to indulge in at least 3-5 times in a week consistently. It could be dancing football aerobics swimming yoga jogging or strength training. Consistency and right technique is important. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss.

Hi lybrate-user1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. To begin with eat healthy and drink lots of water add fibre to your diet walk atleast for 30-45 mins daily still if problem persist consult me online or at the clinic.
