Hello Lybrate user As you mentioned here symptoms are related to cervical or neck pain but it depends upon dermatomes/myotomes involved. Take hot formentation daily. If possible he can take regular Physiotherapy treatment for fifteen days after treatment physiotherapist will guide him for daily Home base proper exercises programme. Exercises will improve strength of muscles. Exercises must be with advice of qualified and experienced physiotherapist only.

Hi do check your calcium and vitamin d. Make daily routine of exercise to strengthen your joints. Apply hot and coldwater foementation. Consult physiotherapist for customized exercise plan.

Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. I am having low back ache since April 2015. I have got the MRI done and the diagnosis is Disc bulge. I got treatment for 5 months of Lyrica 75 mg, calcium, D3 and nurokind gold. I became quite o.k but lately I am having severe burning in my legs. I can not stand for more than 5 mins. My legs pain a lot. I can not walk properly if I sit on floor. Kindly suggest some medicines. If I do exercises it aggravates.

Madam you are having radiculopathy associated to your posterior herniated disc. If the condition is not improving with medication you might need further help as with injections at spine or surgery for removing the herniated disc which can be decided on the basis of your examination and Mri scans. It is better to avoid exercises in acute painful stage. Hot bag and local gel application will provide you relief. Thanks take care.

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg eight hourly and I will suggest you to eat nutritious home made food with adequate fluid intake and take physical rest and Get her blood checked for CBC and follow up with reports.

Hi my age is 29 (men) old, height 175 cm, weight 85 kgs. I will be going to gym daily, running, cycling, workout I will do weekly 6 days. I have knee pain from many years, I went for checkup doctor after so many tests he said everything is fine you don't have strength on your knees so you are getting pain. So could you please suggest what to do for this. He said stop running on thread mill do cycling, walk daily. I will be following strict diet also daily morning oat meal, 2 eggs per day, 2 cups of green tea, milk per day. Only in the after noon I will have rice, no sweets, slight oily, daily night 1 banana, chapati with curd. Please suggest me what to do. I will get severe pain while climbing stairs.

- there could be deficiency of vit d, have to checked it yet. - avoid thoses exercises at gym which puts more stress to your knee joint. - to increase quads muscle strength you can do isometrics at home.- simply with your knee straight and back supported, place towel roll beneath your knee joint and press it till you count 30, than releive. Repeat the same for 10 times for 2- 3 times per daily .do this exercise atleast 10 days .there are more exercises which need to be done by theraband.

How can I do?
Apply hot fomentation twice daily. \navoid bending in front. \npostural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a da.
