Hello, you should do these exercises to strengthen the eye muscles. Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication:- Use CMD2 eye drops, 2 drop in each eye twice daily. Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing rather reducing the power of your eyes. Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

Get your refraction done and wear spectacles Eat green veggies. Carrots. Strain less your eyes. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularily if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. If needed wear corrective spectacles. These are few things you can take care of. Otherwise as such no options available which can increase your eyesight. You can also go for contact lens or refractive surgeries.

According to Ayurved you have increased Vata Dosha in your body especially in Amashaya (stomach). This season is varsha rutu (monsoon). In this season vata dosha increases by seasonal effect and hampers our digestive power. Your digestion power is already weak. You should take one glass of warm water early in the morning in empty stomach and one glass warm water at going to bed. Still problem persist you can contact me through lybrate.

Hello, Include the following for getting better vision: Vitamins A, C, E, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. DHA is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like wild salmon, sardines and mackerel. Exercises for eyes: Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hello lybrate-user. From the symptoms described by you, it seems more likely to be due to allergy. You should KNOW YOUR EYE ALLERGY first. •There are various EYE ALLERGIES TRIGGERS: A person can be allergic to: Pollen from grasses, weeds, and trees. These are the most common kinds of eye allergies and are called SEASONAL ALLERGIC CONJUNCTIVITIS. •Dust, pet dander, and other indoor allergens. These eye allergies last year-round and are called CHRONIC (PERENNIAL) CONJUNCTIVITIS. •Makeup, perfume, or other chemicals can trigger eye allergies called CONTACT CONJUNCTIVITIS. •An allergy to contact lenses, called GIANT PAPILLARY CONJUNCTIVITIS, makes eyes sensitive and red. Just like any other allergic reaction, they are caused by a MISFIRING OF THE IMMUNE SYSTEM, the body's natural defense mechanism. It releases HISTAMINE, a chemical that causes swelling and inflammation. Symptoms to Watch For •Red, irritated eyes •Itchiness •Tearing or runny eyes •Swollen eyelids •Soreness, burning, or pain •Sensitivity to light Usually you’ll also have other allergy symptoms, such as a stuffy, runny nose and sneezing. DON'T TAKE YOUR EYES FOR GRANTED! Protect your sight with these six tips: 1. Eat for Good Vision 2. Quit Smoking 3. Wear Sunglasses / helmets to shield your eyes from dust, sunlight, pollution 4. Wash your eyes 3-4 times a day 5. Look Away From the Computer Screen at regular intervals 6. Avoid rubbing your eyes with fingers/ cloth/ shirt/ dupatta, etc. Also, I have a few suggestions for you regarding the usage of computers, mobile phones and books. Follow the rule of" 20" This means that every 20 minutes, take a gap of 20 seconds, blink your eyes actively 20 times and focus at an object which is minimum 20 feet away. This will help in relieving your eyes from the continuous strain that is caused due to staring. Staring at the computer continuously causes us to subconsciously blink less than normal. This causes the tear film on the surface of the eye to dry up. The result of this is pain, discomfort, etc. Another suggestions regarding the usage of computers is to maintain a proper posture. The computer must be positioned at the same height as your eye level. The neck should not be inadvertently flexed or extended. Roughly, an angle of 90 degrees should be maintained between your upper body and thighs. Likewise, a similar angle (90 degrees) should be maintained between your lower legs and thighs. Also the angle between your hands and arms should be roughly 90 degrees. This is the healthy ergonomic way of sitting while using a computer. Maintenance of proper posture would help in further relieving the symptoms of eye discomfort and pain. You could consider preservative free lubricant eye drops 4 to 5 times daily. These eye drops would ensure that your eyes stay well lubricated and fresh. All these suggestions may take a while to sink in and imbibe in your routine. Once followed, they are sure to work wonders for you. Hope my suggestions help you.

Eye strain, or asthenopia, is when the eyes get tired from excessive or intense use. It can be annoying, but it tends to disappear with rest. Although it’s not often a serious condition, eye strain could be a symptom of an underlying problem. Eye strain is known to cause fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and headaches Eye strain may lead to other problems, such as: • Headaches • Difficulty Concentrating • Irritability • Burning Sensation • Watery Eyes • Dry Eyes • Photophobia • Eye Pain The first thing you can do is change your environment and work habits. By doing this you can relieve the pain without spending money on treatment. If you work on the computer, try taking more eye breaks by looking down the hall or out the window, or by closing your eyes for thirty seconds. You should get your eyes checked at least once a year, especially as you grow older. Routine eye exams give you the opportunity to discuss with your Eye Specialist any issues you may be having, and they may enable you to catch any problems in their early stages. Age Frequency 0 to 6 months Minimum of once a year 6 months to 18 years Every 2 – 4 years 19 to 39 years Every 3 – 5 years 40 to 64 years Every 2 – 4 years 65 and older Every 1 – 2 years If you spend a lot of time sitting in front of a computer or reading, you may need prescription glasses solely for those activities. Homoeopathic Eyedrop CINELUBE EYEDROPS ( HAPDCO) 3 times daily.

Sometimes when I rub my eyes. I start to loose vision on the eye that I rub. And it really scares me because I literally can't see for a few minutes, but it slowly fades away and my vision comes back. Do I have a problem with my eye or vision?

The photo receptors that pick up light are sensitive to pressure. When you rub your eyes the stimulation must be similar in intensity . but it isn't very good because it does put a lot of pressure on the eyeballs. It also disturbs the several protective layers of moistures, oils, and proteins on your cornea and front of the eye. That's why it's blurry for a while after wards.

New moles do develop on our body. You must keep a watch on. Any increase in size. Itching. Redness. Color change. Associated with it. Do not worry about your mole other wise. If any of above things are noted we need a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis.

Do not sit continuously during working. Take a break of only 5 or ten minute in between work and walk a little. Keep away from junk food, packaged food, bakery item, fast food, oily food, rice, potato, cold drink and sweets. Eat more salads and green leafy vegetable with your meal. Prefer to walk instead of using vehicles for short distances to burn extra calories.
