Recently I have developed a squeezing or twitching of eyes as a habit. I don't shut my eyes but partially squeeze the lower lid several times in a minute. I have observed this on different occasions like driving, watching TV or even when I am sitting idle. I can't trace a direct source to it.

As per your complaints, you r suffering from refractive error. Take regullar aerobic exercises, green vegetables, salads, plenty of water. Make urgent appointment privately to me for further clarification of your problems.

Mera baby 2. 5 months ka ho gya hai par muje uski eyes mei kuch problem lagti ha wo waise to eyes centre me ek sath le ata h pr jb side m dkhta h tab ek corner pe hoti h or ek centre me. Relax, in babies both eyes work independently up to six months. Feed him with breast milk, play with him and talk to him as if you are talking to your great friend. Watch him grow and enjoy.

Take good sleep at night. 10 pm to 6 am is perfect timing. Take balanced and healthy diet. It will help you.

Hi. I have a few suggestions for your sister regarding the usage of computers, mobile phones and books. Follow the rule of" 20" this means that every 20 minutes, take a gap of 20 seconds, blink your eyes actively 20 times and focus at an object which is minimum 20 feet away. This will help in relieving your eyes from the continuous strain that is caused due to staring. Staring at the computer continuously causes us to subconsciously blink less than normal. This causes the tear film on the surface of the eye to dry up. The result of this is pain, discomfort, etc. Another suggestions regarding the usage of computers is to maintain a proper posture. The computer must be positioned at the same height as your eye level. The neck should not be inadvertently flexed or extended. Roughly, an angle of 90 degrees should be maintained between your upper body and thighs. Likewise, a similar angle (90 degrees) should be maintained between your lower legs and thighs. Also the angle between your hands and arms should be roughly 90 degrees. This is the healthy ergonomic way of sitting while using a computer. Maintenance of proper posture would help in further relieving the symptoms of eye discomfort and pain. Also, you could consider using a lubricant eye drop (preservative free) for 3 to 4 times daily. There are some preservative free eye drops available (eg. Genteal eye drops) all these suggestions may take a while to sink in and imbibe in your routine. Once followed, they are sure to work wonders for you. It is important that proper distance and posture be maintained while using television or the ipad. If not done so, chances of having refractive error/ other eye issues are more. Hope my suggestions help you. Take care. Cheers.

Hello, Bags under eyes — mild swelling or puffiness under the eyes — are common as you age. Bags under eyes are usually a cosmetic concern and rarely a sign of a serious underlying medical condition. At-home remedies, such as cool compresses, can help improve the appearance of bags under eyes. For persistent or bothersome under-eye puffiness, cosmetic treatments are available. Bags under eyes can include - mild swelling, saggy or loose skin, dark circles. Causes: You may not like the way they look, but bags under eyes are usually harmless and don't require medical care. See your doctor if the swelling: Is severe and persistent Is accompanied by redness, itching or pain Affects other parts of your body, such as your legs As you age, the tissue structures and muscles supporting your eyelids weaken. The skin may start to sag, and fat that is normally confined to the area around the eye (orbit) can move into the area below your eyes. Also, the space below your eyes can accumulate fluid, making the under-eye area appear puffy or swollen. Several factors can lead to this, including: Fluid retention due to changes in weather (for example, hot, humid days), hormone levels or eating salty foods Not getting enough sleep Allergies or dermatitis, especially if puffiness is accompanied by redness and itching Heredity — under-eye bags can run in families Lifestyle and Home Remedies: The following tips can help you reduce or eliminate bags under eyes: Use a cool compress. Wet a clean washcloth with cool water. While sitting up, apply the damp washcloth to the skin under and around your eyes for a few minutes using mild pressure. Get enough sleep at night. For most adults, seven to eight hours a night is a good amount of sleep. Sleep with your head slightly raised. Add an extra pillow or prop up the head of your mattress. Or elevate the entire head of the bed a few inches. This helps prevent fluids from accumulating around your eyes as you sleep. Reduce allergy symptoms. Avoid allergens when possible. Try over-the-counter allergy medications. Talk to your doctor about prevention strategies if you develop under-eye reactions due to hair dyes, soaps, cosmetics or other allergens. Medication: Take Apis Mellifica 200/ twice daily for 3 weeks. But the result varies depending on conditions like whether the swelling is oedematous in nature, or there is collection of fat, or there is lax tissue, or if this is a hereditary feature or has some underlying medical condition.

Hi , use euphrasia eye drop , 2 drops in each eye , twice daily. Do not go in direct sunlight and you should wear sun glasses when you go out in the sun.Revert after 7 days.

Except for cosmetic, these conditions usually don't cause a problem. They r benign conditions - don't worry.
