You can conceive with pcod but before that you require medication to regularize your cycle. Start doing some exercise or yoga and take proper diet with fruits and salad.

Hi, Stop feeding the baby, but extract the milk manually and give it to the child in a cup to drink. Gradually milk production may decrease day by day as the prolactin level drops in the body. On the other hand, if it doesn't stop, then consult your gynaecologist and act accordingly.

Kegel exercises

DGO
Gynaecologist, Pune
Kegel exercises

You've probably read about kegel exercises a million times before. Perhaps you even clench and release your pelvic floor muscles each time you come across an article like this one. But if you haven't made them a daily habit yet, and aren't sure whether or not you need to--here's some help.

{mosimage}

1. They can keep incontinence at bay
As you grow older, your pelvic floor muscles--responsible for giving you control over your bladder and bowels--get weaker. Which means every time you sneeze or laugh or cough on a full bladder, chances are a little urine will leak out. Doing kegel exercises can strengthen these muscles, and make sure you are always in control.

2. They can help your body cope with childbirth
Pregnancy can wreak havoc on your body--especially the pelvic floor muscles, making incontinence a reality much before age catches up. Moreover, many women also complain of lessened sexual arousal after childbirth. Enter: kegels. Practice them before and after you give birth to keep incontinence at bay and well. Enjoy sex much like before.

3. They can give you stronger orgasms
Did you know: kegels can help you get a better grip on your partner's member during intercourse? they can also help you achieve coveted multiple orgasmsm, and tone those much-needed vaginal muscles.

How do I know I am doing them right?
Clenching is not the problem; finding the right muscle to clench, however, is.

So, begin by identifying the muscles in question. The next time you're on the pot, try to stop urinating mid-way. Those muscles that helped you do just that are the ones to work on. (keep in mind that kegels should be done on an empty bladder, and that stopping the urine flow too often can lead to urinary tract infections.)

Now, lie on your back on the floor, knees bent--legs hip-width apart--and flex the muscles for 3 to 5 second, and release them for 3 to 5 seconds. Do 3 reps of 10 seconds each day. Once you're comfortable and confident, you can practice the kegel exercise while sitting at your desk or standing in the metro train.

So what are you waiting for? let the kegels begin!

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. With the given circumstances, there is no chance to worry about pregnancy. Sperm has to enter the vagina so as to fertilize themfemale egg. You did not have viginal intercourse neither vafinal ejaculation. Forget it. Take care.

Hi I am pregnant and have thyroid. Can eat fortified cereals and which one is good for me.
Hello, If thyroid is under control , then as a pregnant woman , you should take utmost caution of what she eats. A nutritious diet rich in proteins, iron, calcium and omega 3 fatty acids is recommended. Overall besides normal food make sure she takes a big glass of milk daily, 2-3 eggs in a week, chicken/ fish twice a week, take 2 helping of fruits and salads daily. Taking 5-6 almonds alone a piece or two of walnuts daily should overall take care of your nutritional requirements. Hope this helps you.

Pregnancy me stomach pain hota h (due to foods or urinary infection) Us pain ko kaise Kum kra ja skta h.

Pregnancy me stomach pain hota h (due to foods or urinary infection) Us pain ko kaise Kum kra ja skta h.
Some short-term achiness in your belly is normal during pregnancy, and you can experience different sensations in different trimesters. Here are some common causes: 1. Implantation Many women feel menstrual-like pain or cramps for a day or so early in pregnancy. This usually happens when the embryo is embedding itself in the uterine lining. 2. Stretching ligaments In the second trimester, the muscles and ligaments that support the uterus stretch, causing a dull ache across the belly or a sharp pain on one side. Many women feel this pain most when getting up from a bed, chair, or bathtub, or while coughing. 3. False labor In the second and third trimesters, you may feel contractions or an irregular tightening of your uterine muscles, often called Braxton-Hicks contractions or false labor. These are usually painless and tend to increase in the weeks leading up to your due date. It’s probably false labor if the contractions stop when you walk, are irregular, and don’t get more intense or rapid over time. 4. Cramping In the last weeks of pregnancy, cramping that feels like a backache or menstrual cramps may be a sign that labor is imminent. 5. Normal pains Normal abdominal pain may be the result of gas and bloating from the hormones that slow down digestion, pressure from your growing uterus, constipation, or heartburn. Changing positions, walking, or moderate exercise (such as housework) may help ease gas pains. Relief from abdominal aches When you feel abdominal achiness: Sit down, put your feet up, and relax. Resting comfortably should relieve your symptoms. A hot water bottle or heating pad (on the lowest setting) might help. Drink lots of liquids to stay hydrated. When you do feel a pain, bend towards the pain to relieve it. Homeopathy For Stomach Ailments: Flatulence and constipation are also usual conditions that pregnant women have to face. Here are some homeopathy remedies for them: Chelidonium: It is advised for constipation and dark stool. Magnesium Phosphoricum: Apart from treating pain in stomach, relaxes muscles and cures cramps in other body parts too. Lycopodium: It is prescribed when you feel bloated after meals. Phosphorus: It will help when you are feeling pale and weak, as well as constipated. Sulphur: It is great for women having liver problems and loose stool. Carbo Veg: It is recommended when there is a sharp pain in stomach, along with acidity or flatulence. Apart from these remedies, homeopathy is also successful in curing swelling in body, weakness and varicose veins. It works especially well for treating psychological conditions like mood swings, irritability and wanting to be left alone.

Baby may change position on its own, some obstetricians try to change position by physical push at 32 weeks (i do), if it persists there is problem only for delivery does not affect baby.

Hi, I am a 23 years old girl, my problem is during my menstruation cycle I fart a lot but in other days everything is fine. Why do this happen and how can I get rid of this?

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology
Gynaecologist, Mumbai
Hi,
I am a 23 years old girl, my problem is during my menstruation cycle I fart a lot but in other days everything is...
It is likely to be because of progesterone hormone which relaxes the sphincter. But you can not change the hormones which you produce. You can take medication which reduces flatulance only during the period you expect this to happen. Charcoal tablets are a type of medication available over the counter from pharmacists. The charcoal absorbs gas in the digestive system, which helps reduce symptoms. O you can use tablet flatuna 3-4 times a day during menstruation.

Hello, gaining weight and irregular menses is indicative of pcos and possible hypothyroidism which can cause anovulation i. E. No release of ovum or no menses and hence difficulty in conception, so get a hormonal profile done and an ultrasound pelvis for ruling out pcos.

Hello, she is likely to be in her safe period and pregnancy would be unlikely if sex is attempted by 14th which would be day 6 of her cycle.
