I have dark spots on my cheeks. I have few dark spots not many. Suggest me home remedies to evacuate dark spots ?

BHMS
Homeopath, Surat
Learn about the different types of dark spots. Since dark spots can be caused by a number of different factors, learning about the different types will give you a head start when it comes to figuring out how to get rid of them. Here are the three different types of hyperpigmentation. Lentigines. These are dark spots caused by exposure to uv rays from the sun. 90 percent of people over the age of 60 have them, but many much younger men and women have sun-related dark spots as well. The spots appear scattered in no particular pattern. Melasma. This type of dark spots are caused by hormonal fluctuations. Women might see darker splotches appear on their cheeks during times when their hormones are in flux, like during pregnancy or menopause. It's also a side effect of birth control pills and hormone therapy treatments. Melasma can also occur as a result of thyroid dysfunction. Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (pih). These are dark spots that occur as a result of trauma to the skin, which can be caused by psoriasis, burns, acne, and certain skin care treatments that are hard on the skin. Figure out what's causing yours. Once you know what you're dealing with, you'll be able to choose a course of treatment and start making lifestyle changes to prevent more dark spots from showing up. Ask yourself these questions to determine what's behind your dark spots: do you frequently use a tanning bed or go tanning in the sun? if you tend to get high sun exposure and you don't wear much sunscreen, you might have valentines. Topical treatments and avoidance of sun exposure are the best way to get rid of this type of hyperpigmentation. Do you have a current medical condition for which you're on medication? are you pregnant, on birth control, or taking hormone therapy? it's possible you have melanoma. This can be difficult to treat, but there are certainly methods that can make a difference. Have you had severe acne, plastic surgery, or other long-term skin conditions? you could have pih, which responds well to topical treatments and may go away with time. Figure out which type of dark spot do you have. And ask me again.

Hi there, One of my friend has black spot on his acne, this might be due to pimples, I would highly appreciate and it would be great if you could revert back with valuable solutions at the earliest. Looking forward to hear from you.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

Homoeopathic cream ANTIMARKS CREAM ( BIOVALLEY) Apply twice daily in circular fashion Dark spots are primarily caused by acne, blemishes and black heads. The percentage of dark spots increases as the exposure to the sun increases too. Since the rate of melanin would be decreases, it leads in turn to the darkening of the skin. So, apply sunscreen (Homoeopathic SUNCARE cream of BAKSON Company) , every time you go out and follow the recipes below in order to get relief from dark spots. Instead of using the chemical products for your skin, try using some natural home remedies. Using home remedies can work out to be much cheaper than chemical based products and they can help treat your condition without any side effects. Caring for your skin is highly important. Here are some home remedies that allow your skin to be free of dark spots, black spots or pimple marks or even acne scars on the face. 1.Take a medium sized tomato and squeeze the juice from it, add one tablespoon of lemon juice to the tomato juice and stir the mixture well. Apply on the face and let it dry for 20 minutes. Rinse the face with warm water. 2.Take pulp from Aloe Vera leaves and let it dry in the sun for 5 minutes and then add few drops of lemon juice to the dried pulp. Apply this mixture on the face and wash it off after 15 minutes. The results are quite good.

Hair Loss - 9 Reasons Behind it

Hair loss or Alopecia areata is a condition characterized by loss of hair from the scalp and other parts of the body that have hair over a prolonged period of time. Recent research states that losing 100 strands of hair a day is normal. But anything in excess indicates that you might be suffering from this embarrassing condition. Experiencing recurring episodes of hair loss can end up affecting one’s self-confidence, and hence, any sphere of his personal life as well.

What causes hair loss?

  1. Over 95% of hair loss occurs due to hereditary factors coming into play. A family history of this condition can exacerbate one’s risks of developing the condition.
  2. Hair loss can also occur if you have been exposed to increased stress levels of late. Temporary hair loss is also observed in people suffering from mental stress or trauma resulting from an incident, may be the death of a loved one or any other incident that might have brought on shock and stress on the concerned person.
  3. Hair loss can also result from chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Also, certain medications used to combat cancer, depression, heart disorder, birth control and arthritis (know more about arthritis problem) might also result in significant loss of hair.
  4. Hair loss can occur as a result of thyroid disorders such as hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism.
  5. Hair loss might also be the result of an auto-immune disorder known as ‘Alopecia Areata’ that results in bald spot formation around the scalp, beard, and eyebrows.
  6. Trichotillomania (a mental condition wherein a person pulls out hair from the scalp, almost unconsciously) can lead to hair loss as well.
  7. Hair loss can also occur as a result of excessive experimentation with your hair. This can include using permanent hair straightening devices, developing curls or tight braids, ponytails, etc.
  8. Hormonal imbalances or change, noticeable mostly during pregnancy or at the onset of menopause can be triggers of hair loss as well.
  9. Ringworm infection can also result in hair loss by damaging the skin of the scalp and hair. However, hair loss tends to get better once the infection is treated.

Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). My third molar (wisdom teeth) seems to be coming out and the pain is severe. The skin at the end has swollen up like a pimple and the whole jaw & ear on the right are paining severely. Due to Ganesh Nimarjan, no dentists are available. I tried gargling with lukewarm salt water with turmeric but there's no difference. Can anyone suggest me any remedies to decrease the pain or tablets? Urgent suggestions needed plz.

BDS
Dentist, Delhi
Wisdom teeth can erupt anywhere between the age of 17 years and the mid-20s. It is usually accompanied by pain, sensitivity, and discomfort in chewing food. The pain also may radiate to head, neck and ear. For transient relief, you can go for pain killers and any antibacterial mouthwash, to keep the area clean, which may be difficult to clean otherwise with a toothbrush. Permanent treatment usually involves either removal of the gum tissue covering the wisdom tooth (if it is present in your case), or extraction of the tooth. Extraction will not cause you any problem with eating food, and it doesn’t need to be replaced, unlike other teeth. I suggest that you consult me privately on Lybrate. In private/video consultation, looking at the exact condition, I will be in a better position to solve your query, and prescribe appropriate medication.

Dear sir/madam I have skin problem on my face have pimples, digs, and if I wash the face it will look smart but after few time it will be look black why please suggest me.

PG Hom, London, BHMS

Hi, pimples happen as a result of oily skin. When the sebum secretion of your skin increases, you tend to get pimples. Proper medication will help reduce the pimples and also the scars that you might have post the pimples. You face tends to look dark after some time of washing if because dust particles stick on the oily skin surface and make it look dull. You will need a special face wash which will make your skin less oily and therefore prevent looking dark. Please consult privately so that I can help you in a better way.

Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines. *clean your skin gently with a mild face wash removing all dirt or make-up. I am 20 years old. Acne is my major conCern homemade treatments and some healthy diet for glowing and fair skin free from acne.

lybrate-user Science still doesnot know whether diet and acne ae related .You eat low glycemic diet, rich in colorful fruits, and vegtables, omega 3 fat with 30 mg zinc gluconate. Treat your skin than chasing any theoritical yet proven diet. Some scieist hypothesis that Harmone IGF-1 produces skin oil sebum. Some hypothesize that milk and IGF-1 component, could lead to increased skin oil and resulting Acne breakout. IGF-1 also stimulate the body to produce cells. Acne is thought to sometimes begin with overproduction of skin cells inside the pore which causes the pore to become clogged. MILK may may lead to overproduction of skin cells within pores as milk contain the androgen .High glycemic food i, e sugar, white bread, white potato and white rice. Low calory intake help in acne and increased calory causes Acne. You take Omega 3 or or cold water fish. Take antioxidant in colorful fruits and vegetable. Avoid oily food as it cause high sebum formation. Homeopathy can do best as its effect on harmone and control the inflammation.
