You are overweight. Do physical exercises of your problem areas and take more proteins and less fats and carbohydrates in diet. Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Do meditation for mental strength daily. Avoid non veg and eggs, spicy and junk food. Follow this and give me feedback.

I am 40 years old, recently I met with an accident it was a minor one, there was only a slight fracture in left zyomatic bone, I want to know if there are any natural methods to heal the fracture.

Hello, if the fracture is undisplaced or very minimally displaced on the CT scan, then the fracture will heal naturally. But the correct decision will be done by a plastic surgeon or an oro-maxillary surgeon.

Please tell me duration of pain and what was the initiating factor for it? what medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. I would like to know whether you have got your inflammatory profile done till now and whether calcium and vitamin d testing/supplementation has been done. A lot of knee pain in young adults is due to a condition called as chondromalacia wherein intensive physical therapy, calcium and vitamin d supplementation, short course of anti inflammatory medications and avoidance of certain activities initially will help. Also please let me know what all exercises you are doing on a daily basis. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Thanks & regards

Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do streching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you dont get relief consult physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.

I understand you concern for your father. You can advice your father to start doing some aerobic or yoga so that his tension will be reduced and daily make a habit of taking 10-12 glasses of water which will make him fit and healthy away from all tensions. You can go for Xray investigation to confirm. And for knee pain let me recommed some home care management because it could be arthritis which is very common in this age: • Avoid prolonged standing. • Rest painful joints: O Use a walker. O Use crutches. O Use a cane. • Apply warm compresses for stiffness: O Apply for 20-30 minutes, every 1-2 hours. O Wear a sling • Follow an exercise plan developed with your doctor. O Perform exercises for osteoarthritis. O Perform gentle stretching after exercise. • Acetaminophen for pain • Take prescription pain medicines as directed. • Use splints for arthritis (if diagnosed in Xray): O Apply splints when the joints are swollen. • Wear footwear that fits properly. • Weight loss if you are overweight. Precautions to be taken to avoid joint pains • Milk, curd, ghee, butter milk and cucumber which contain more amount of calcium should be taken. More exercise should not be done. • People should not climb steps, hills and heights and they should not sit down on the floor. • Taking bath with cold water is not good. • Food which contains sugar and sour tastes should be taken. • Besan flour items and potatoes, radish, sweet potatoes should not be taken.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi I am 32 year man. Suffering from a lower back pain problem from last 6 month instead of taking medicine. The pain is not staying very high but a constant pain some time when seating position or standing a little long. Please suggest what should I do?

This is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take caldikind plus 1 tab daily for 10days paracetamol 250mg tds x 3 days contact me after that. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. It may have to be further investigated.

I am 55 year old male. For last one year my fingers and wrist gets stiff and aching while sleeping. Tests done so far have ruled out Rheumatoid Arthritis. Had hypothyroid which is under control after taking medicine. Now often my shoulders also ache. My uric acid is also often at higher border limits. Pl suggest some remedy.

Diagnosis of ra is not solely dependent on blood tests. If you have early morning stiffness of the small joints of your hands including the wrists then it is likely that you are suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. If I would have been your doctor, I could have given you a test dose of steroids for a short period of 5 days and if you show a dramatic improvement, I would have stamped you as ra and started the classical therapy.

I am 38 years old man. I had a fracture in my left hand. The elbow was dislocated and I had an operation. Plaster has been removed one month back and now the elbow region is hard. There is lack of free movement as the hand has not been straight completely. Date of operation was 12-03-15 ; opening of plaster was 12-04-15. Please give me the best advice by which my hand movement will be perfect again.

Hi. May be you have tendinitis. Do cryotherapy (ice) at the thumb joint for 15-20 minutes and then do deep friction with volitra gel till it absorbed. And then wrap with crepe bandage and please do not use that hand for few days. This is the tip. If you get cure then thats really good for you. If not then go for best physiotherapist for ultrasonic, tens and laser therapy (if available).

you need to do chin retraction(chin tuck) exercise every hour .. it will take hardly 1 min. and do ice massage or ice pack after coming back to home from work to relieve neck pain and relax the neck muscles

I am 30 years old. I went to the gym and did some heavy overhead shoulder press after a months gap. The back of my shoulder/neck started paining. It also pains when I turn my neck to the left and drop my head a little back. Its been a day since this happened. I applied a pain relieving cream.

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.
