I had typhoid fever attack this New Year when I was busy shopping for my marriage. One day I felt hot flushes, my energy dropped, and I was feeling so tired. My uncle who is a doctor prescribed some blood tests. My blood reports showed thatI was suffering from typhoid, then my uncle prescribed me some antibiotics for 7 days. On the day of my marriage I had 100 degrees fever. And now after six months it has come back and again I'm antibiotics. I can't take my daily meal properly, I feel nausea and have bladder disturbance also. Really, this typhoid freaked me out.

Go for a widal test, if it's typhoid, then have meal when your temperature is normal not at the time of fever as you will not be able to have. Have papaya, cheeku, apple, boiled dal, brown bread, milk. If you feel nauseating, you may take antacid because these antibiotics are hard and doctor might have prescribed you. Typhoid fever does cause lots of issues but gets normal in 10-15 days.

There are several things you can do to prevent a cold—they are all easy and inexpensive and worth the effort. Wash your hands often-with soap and warm water. The germs stick to the soap and get washed down the drain. Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. Cover Your Mouth and Nose When You Sneeze or Cough- Clean your hands every time you cough or sneeze. Avoid Touching Your Eyes, Nose, or Mouth-Germs are often spread when a person touches a contaminated surface and then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth. Stay Home When You’re Sick-Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, don’t smoke, manage stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food so you can fend off viruses. Take healthy balanced diet...like boiled eggs.daily in breakfast .. Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. Routinely clean and disinfect common areas of your home. Treatment:There is a gradual 1-3 day onset of symptoms. It often starts out as a sore throat, then a fever and coughing. As the cold progresses, the nasal mucus may thicken which is the last stage before the cold dries up. A cold usually lasts for a week or two. But, taking good care of yourself at home can relieve symptoms and help prevent complications if you are otherwise healthy. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn’t need medical treatment. Complications include bacterial infections of the ears, throat, sinuses or lungs which must be treated with antibiotics. In general you should: • get plenty of rest so your body can use its energy to fight the cold • staying at home will keep you from spreading germs • drink plenty of liquids like herbal tea or hot broth/vegetable/tomato soups. Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine which can keep you from getting enough sleep Runny Nose and Sneezing- if you have post nasal drip, gargle to keep from getting a sore throat. Drink extra fluids. (avoid sugary and high calorie drinks) Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation • Tablet Nasorest-P once/twice daily may reduce the amount of mucous. • Humidify the rooms you are in most or your whole house if possible. • Do steam inhalation once or twice daily Cough-Coughing is how your body gets rid of debris and mucus from the airways during a viral infection. Unless your cough is severe or is keeping you from resting at night, it is better not to treat it. A severe cough can be treated with a cough syp, but don’t try to completely stop the cough. There are two types of coughs. Productive and non-productive or dry cough. Non-productive, dry cough. A dry, hacking cough may develop near the end of a cold. Dry coughs that follow viral colds are often worse at night and can last up to several weeks. Take syrup Alex-D for a dry cough. Cough drops can sooth an irritated throat, but most don’t affect the cough. Productive cough. A productive cough is one that brings up mucus from the back of the throat or the lungs. Productive coughs should not be suppressed to the point they no longer bring up mucus. Use syrup Alex. Drink lots of water if you have a productive cough. Head and Body Aches- Take tablet dolo-650 mg for fever once or twice daily

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. Night fall, dark circles, back pain, early ejaculation, memory problems, etc are never caused by masturbation. Don't speculate. I suggest you online sex counseling. Take care.

Split Personality Disorder - Symptoms And Causes

Split Personality Disorder - Symptoms And Causes

Previously known as multiple personality disorder or simply split personality disorder, dissociative identity disorder is a very serious and unpleasant form of dissociation. It is based on the lack of connection, or rather a discontinuity in thought, action, feeling, memory or even a misplaced sense of identity. It is usually considered to be a result of severe traumatic experiences in early childhood, varying from extremely physical to repeated emotional or sexual abuse. It is thought to be a self-defense mechanism where the person dissociates himself from any such experience or situation that would deem to be harmful to his or her conscious self. It is, however, not to be confused with schizophrenia.

Symptoms

There are innumerable indicators that point towards dissociative identity disorder. Some of them include:

  1. Severe depression
  2. Sleeping problems such as insomnia or sleep apnea
  3. Alcohol or drug abuse
  4. Anxiety attacks and phobias
  5. Suicidal tendencies
  6. Abnormal rituals and compulsions
  7. Visual or auditory hallucinations
  8. Self-persecution and self-sabotage tendencies
  9. Time-loss and amnesia
  10. Mood swings
  11. Headaches and migraines
  12. Inability to remember important personal information
  13. 'Switching' of identities

Causes

The main causes of split personality disorder are unfortunately still unclear and vague, although 99% of persons who suffer from this disorder have a severe traumatic history or background. The causes need not be physical or sexual abuse. It could also stem from emotional abuse like insistent neglect. Studies have also showed that children may become dissociative, if their parents are either too strict or unpredictable. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Psychiatrist.

Dear/madam please give me solution for my chest pain and acidity have a long time problem please give solution.
it may gas-distention trouble due to indigestion. have simple bland food (Khichadi) for next few days avoiding junk, oily, spicy fried and deep-fried food items. drink lot of water. Add Jeera, Ajwain, Sonth in ur food items – these herbs prevent gas formation. Reduce intake of tea – coffee. Instead u can have green tea. dont lye-down or sit immediately after having meals. have a walk instead. maintain good bowel habits. Have more of Coconut Water, Gulkand etc to relieve acidity, Avoid too much of Cauliflower, Peas, Brinjals, Namkeens as snacks etc. Do regular walking and mild exercises. You may also do a weekly fast – just to relax and calm down ur system. Fasting also helps in cleansing of the system. for gas some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. For that u may consult me privately over Lyberate. Please update with ur valuable feedback.
