These symptoms are not related to pregnany as they will come after 1 month of the sex and you have not missed the period yet. For pain and bleeding you should take tablet meftal spas three times a day. This bleeding is because of hormonal changes, and not related to pregnancy. As you r already bleeding after the sex you can not be pregnant.

You need to get a few blood tests done- Complete blood count, Thyroid function test, serum prolactin, FSH ,LH, AMH and a HSG to check your tubes. Also your husband will need a semen analysis to be done. Subsequent treatment will depend on these results

Sometimes the hymen can rupture even without intercourse. Sometimes the hymen is intact after intercourse. So there is no rule to prove virginity. However hymenoplasty is a surgery to reconstruct your hymen and making you a virgin technically. However if I may give you a brotherly advice, do you reallly want to get married to this guy who tortures you and has obvious double standards. Think and act before it is too late!

As you already had menses after having sex, there is no need to take i-pill as with the yesterday's act, you can not get pregnant. There is no harm in taking i-pill as it is very safe, but now it is not needed.

Hello, you have rightly given her ipill within next 72 hrs. The success rate is 99 per cent with ipill. A withdrawal bleed in expected to occur within next 5-7 days and once the bleed occurs, it confirms that there is no pregnancy and that she is safe. You may do a serum beta had test on 5th october to check for hcg levels, which if low then she is not pregnant. Regards.

Ayurveda and Hysterectomy

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

A surgical procedure, in which a woman's uterus is removed is referred to as a hysterectomy. The need for this operation can arise due to various reasons, which include:

1. Development of uterine fibroids that are painful and accompanied by bleeding and other associated symptoms
2. Uterine prolapse, which is characterised by a shifting of the position of the uterus, wherein it enters the vaginal canal
3. Ovarian cancer, cervical cancer or endometrial cancer
4. Vaginal bleeding that cannot be characterised as normal
5. Endometriosis
6. Development of a condition, in which the uterus thickens and is known as adenomyosis
7. Chronic pain in the pelvic region

In Ayurveda, the uterus is associated with the Pitta dosha (fire element), and is considered to be a storehouse of metabolic fire. In fact, this is the reason why after a hysterectomy is performed, a woman generally loses the zest for life along with her creativity and feels demotivated, depressed, sentimental or lethargic. But Ayurveda can help in regaining your vitality post hysterectomy. Here's how:

The role of Ayurveda in hysterectomy

In Ayurveda, the greatest healer of hysterectomy is the herb Shatavari (asparagus racemosus). This herb is known to balance out the Pitta Dosha, which is associated with the uterus. Not only that, this herb, whose name roughly means "a woman who has a 100 husbands," is extremely vital in reducing stress and in increasing Ojas (or vitality). It also helps in building stamina and increasing strength post surgery, while helping in maintaining a normal hormonal balance. A woman will also experience an increase in her Sattva (or positivity) with the help of this herb.

However, just after surgery, a woman is advised to have arjuna and turmeric as they are enriched with healing properties. A combination of other herbs along with Shatavari can help in calming the mind and keep fluctuating emotions in check. These other herbs include saffron, aloe vera, calamus, gotu kola, bhringraj, and brahmi rasayana or jatamansi.

My daughter (now 20 years old) has stubborn fat which will not go by dieting or normal exercise. She is in college and has lot of work and cannot spend a lot of time for rigorous exercise. Dear Lybrate User... Your daughter can definitely be fitter with lesser weight. It needs some time and proper guidance. 1. There is no such thing as 'stubborn fat'. Body fat is just fat. 2. Extra fat is a deposit which has accumulated due to imbalance in food and activity. 3. In our households we keep force-feeding / over-feeding our children to make them look 'chubby' .....but one fine day when they grow up... we realise they are overweight and we look for instant solutions to quickly remove that fat. 4. You need to alter the way food is cooked and served at home. 5. Oils - Cut down all fried and oily food.. Per person per day oil limit is 4 teaspoons. This includes any type of oil/ghee total. 5A. Cut down all puris, parathas, pakodas, papads etc which consume too much oil. 6. Sugar - per person per day 4 teaspoons only. 7. These have to be strictly measured on a daily basis and then you will realise how much excess oil/sugar is being consumed. 8. Focus on creating fruit salads, veg salads, sprout salads. These should be available at all times. Increase consumption of all types of fruits. 9. Don't keep any mixture / namkeen / chocolates / biscuits / cakes in the house. 10. Eat simple meals, avoid ordering from outside / eating out 11. Just guide your daughter to follow these guidelines even at college because the college kids consume a lot of junk food, chips, colas, chocolates... which accumulates as fat in the body. 12. She has to find time for at least 30 minutes everyday for exercise / walk / yoga or gym. If a young person does not work out for at least 30 minutes, they would face health problems later. Such things must become lifelong habits. 13. It is good that you are trying to help out your daughter... For this the food habits and exercise habits of the entire household members have to change. 14. Nature has the best answers for health. 15. Keep striving. Never give up

If you are having your regular periods this is definitely not pregnancy then. Pain in abdomen usually occurs during menses due to uterine contractions. Get examined by a gynecologist for vaginal irritation and pain. This could be due to infections.
