Suffering from bad breath, getting very stinky smell from mouth for the last six months when im talking to people. Consulted dentist but they told orally there is no problem. Notable to figure out the exact problem.

Certified Implantologist, BDS
Dentist, Jaipur
There is infection of gums so you have to get scaling done from dentist.Mostly scaling is sufficient but if problem persists than xray is advised. And it could be due to lung diseases also. Keep your tongue clean too.

If its front tooth than ceramic or zirconia is the best option. If its back tooth and not visible you can go for metal or ceramic. Cost depends on location. But reasonable prices may vary place to place. Zirconia- 8000 starting ceramic-3500 onwards metal 2000 onwards.

My mother feels pain n burning in the gums, at night while sleeping the pus comes out. The mouth is always dry. What is the reason and cure. Is there any permanent cure or any home remedy? Please help.

BDS, Master of Public Health, Master of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration in Hospital Administration/Health Care Management

1) your mother might have xerostomia (dryness of mouth). 2) get her checked up by a general physician for diabetes mellitus and periodontologist for periodontal disease. 3) there is permanent cure for this condition and depending on physical examination the doctor can advise for appropriate diet, gum surgery and control of diabetes mellitus.

I am suffering from tooth pain for last 5 days. What should I do. I took medicine but it does help me.

Consult nearest dentist. Do not rely only on medicine as the pain is the sign that something is bad on your tooth. Pain is not a disease. Medicing is not a treatmet. Thank you

hi..best option is to go for good composite material but it's not just filling the tooth hole , the tooth should be restored in such a way that it's original shape and anatomy is restored properly. .

There may be some sharp edges of your teeth, visit a dentist to get them checked, avoid hot and spicy foods, stress also leads to ulcers on tongue. Apply mucopain and hexigel ointments.

Dear lybrate-user carcinoma f tongue is more prone to metastasize (spread to other site of body) n depend on site of tongue from were carcinoma was operated. So don't use any irritating substance.

Hi am rudzani from south africa, I suffer from 1. Mouth sore 2. My teeth bleed when brushing my teeth. 3. I usually chew my mouth inside Help.

BDS
Dentist, Mohali
Use a soft toothbrush with proper brushing technique with gentle pressure on teeth and gums. Get your teeth checked for tartar deposits and get scaling (professional cleaning) and polishing done. Tartar can't be cleaned with toothbrush. Start taking cap. becosules once daily for a week or two. Make sure that there is no sharp tooth in your mouth. If its there get proper treatment possible for it.

Thinking of whitening your teeth? Start by speaking with your dentist. He or she can tell you whether whitening procedures would be effective for you.

If you have diabetes, you have a greater risk of developing certain oral health problems than people who don?t have diabetes. Controlling blood glucose (blood sugar) levels can reduce the risk of these effects.

A veneer placed over a tooth surface can greatly improve a tooth that is stained, badly shaped, crooked, or injured.

A balanced diet, limited number of snacks, brushing and flossing each day, and regular dental checkups are the keys to a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums.

If you are nervous about going to the dentist, tell your dentist and the dental staff. They may be able to adapt the treatment to your needs.
