Hi lybrate-user, Simply put, no matter what your goals are, you can benefit from eating a high protein diet consisting of various high protein foods. Protein plays a crucial role in the growth and repair of everything from skin to hair to nails. Oh, and guess what else? Muscle! Along with a proper workout routine and an ideal calorie intake, a sufficiently high protein diet is one of the 3 requirements for muscle to be built. In fact, it’s a requirement for muscle to just be maintained. In addition, eating high protein foods at certain ideal times (I’ll tell you those times in a minute) will also play an important role in the building or maintaining of muscle tissue as well as the entire workout recovery process. See, during any kind of weightlifting or strength training workout, your muscles are basically being broken down with the intent being to build them back up a tiny bit better than they were before. What all research shows is that there is no aspect of your diet that is more essential to this process than protein. Meaning, without a high protein diet, muscle growth, muscle maintenance, and workout recovery will just not be happening as effectively as it should. Protein shakes, powder and bars are probably the most popular supplements on the market. Think about it. Hello! check your vit. D n calcium level. According to your height you are over weight. So, that can be also a reason of your leg pain. To be fit take small n frequent healthy meal (5-6 meal a day). Stay away from preserved food, ready to eat foods, deep fried food, sugar n sweet items n do exercise for at least 30 min a day.

Hye. Thank you for your query. You can follow a few tips to reduce belly and thigh fat. Eat less sugar. Eat healthy fats like ghee, nuts, dairy. Avoid white carbs like white bread, maida, biscuits, polished white rice. Drink 2 to 3 liters of water daily. Manage stress. Increase intake of green leafy vegetables. Eat lean protein in each meal like dals, pulses, sprouts, curd. Have warm water early in the morning. Exercise at least thrice a week. That is crucial.

Dear Lybrate user! For losing weight take some time and don’t hurry as it is 1. Play some games like tennis, shuttle, swimming, It will help to burn calories 2. Eat fruits and vegetables 3. Avoid eating the food beyond your threshold level 4. Take good amount of water everyday 5. Take dinner two hours before the bed 6. Take small quantity of food for every two hours - avoid eating three full meals a day 7. Go on doing exercise for 40 minutes daily 8. Avoid milk and milk products 9. Tips To Remove Belly Fat Fast!

Follow these steps to remove the belly fat fast:

1. Work up a sweat

If your not a gym rat then go for basic exercises like run marathons. Running will burn lots of calories and increase the metabolism. Set up a certain limit like around 2 – 3 km’s and start the practice to run or run in the open spaces around 10 – 20 rounds.
Besides running, the cardiovascular exercises like swimming, cycling, skipping, dancing, jogging are the whole body exercises. 1 mc burger equals to 350 calories. So, to burn that you need to cycle for 5.0 miles.
Go for simple and primary exercises like squats, pushups, crunches, calf raises, burpees, running planks. You need not necessarily hit a gym if you practice doing these exercises at home.
People who cannot do all the above exercises can simply go for strolls or brisk walks.
Furthermore, don’t follow a sedentary lifestyle. Indulge in doing the household chores, household jobs like gardening, not using the elevator.

2. Don’t be a night owl

A good sleep is between 8 pm – 5 am. But it’s impossible for us to set such sleeping hours. Although try to have a good sleep and be an early bird. Sleep at least for 8 hours. More importantly, follow the same timings while hitting the bed and waking up. Ensure to maintain a gap of 2 hrs between dinner and hitting the hay. Do yoga before going to bed. It soothes the body. Don’t go for big meals at night.

3. Manage stress

Believe me, stress is your biggest enemy. It may be anxiety or worry. Everyone has a common tendency to stress out over teensy weensy things to the great problems of life. When you flunk a test, if you haven’t prepared for the exam, when you look unappealing with a big tummy, you didn’t ace something, have loads of work to do in the office, when the company is at a huge loss, the first dish you try is a big flop, at times of hardships, when you want to buy a big car like your neighbor, having unsatisfied cravings, when your girlfriend/boyfriend ditched you, all these lead to the hideous feeling “worry”.


When the stress increases also the stress hormone cortisol increases. This will result in several symptoms like depression, exhaustion, insomnia, no glowing face, weight gain. Well, this is the time when you need to think street-smart.

4. Excessive carbohydrate intake

Carbohydrates are two kinds simple (bad) carbs and complex (good) carbs. Now, why the simple carbs are bad and complex carbs are good? this is because the simple carbs have a tendency to break easily in the body and release so much energy which the body doesn’t know where to store and converts it into fat. This fat is stored as belly fat. But the complex carbs do not break easily so they do not release much energy.


5. Consuming too many calories? make a count of calories

Of course, the foods which we consume on the daily basis will contain some proportion of calories. What we need to ensure is that whatever food we take should have fewer calories. Make a calorie count on how many calories you’re taking per day. If the calorie count is high you will gain fat, if it’s low you will lose fat. A woman should eat 2000 calories per day and a man needs 2500 calories intake.

6. Good protein intake

Proteins greatly burn the fat. They build & repair the muscles, skin, bones, blood. We need to maintain a ratio of more proteins and a fewer carbohydrate in our everyday diet. Devour proteins thrice a day. The protein rich foods are eggs, low-fat milk, whey proteins, high protein meat & seafood, peanut butter, nuts, smoothie drinks. Also, gulp down more protein shakes.

7. Drink more water

Drinking much water not only keeps you hydrated but also burn the calories intake instantly as its calorie free. Water contains a lot of proteins. It uplifts the muscles. A human body has up to 60% of water which means they are ample amounts of nutrients. So, drink at least 2l a day.

Many people are counterproductive about the hydration levels in our body. Actually, the pee must be clear and have a tinge of yellow which indicates that you are well hydrated. And a pee which is deep yellow indicates dehydration.

8. Love the rush

The adrenaline rush is the only superpower human beings have. –

Occasionally, go for the adventure activities like bungee jumps, trekking, rappeling (descending a mountain or a rock), plunge into the water (coasteering, scuba diving), walk the ropes. These activities will boost your blood pressure and metabolism.

9. Proper diet

Foods to must include in your everyday diet

  • Blueberries
  • Green tea/ black tea
  • Fiber food (popcorn, whole grains, brown rice)
  • Low-fat dairy products
  • Fruits
  • Veggies
  • Canned/dried beans
  • Nuts
  • Lean meat
  • Fish
  • Eggs
  • Dark chocolate
  • Avacado
  • Greek yoghurt
  • Olive oil
  • Oatmeal

  • Whole wheat

Decrease the amount of your cereals intake. Take skimmed milk, fresh fruits and vegetables. Take small and frequent meals. Never take water in between meals. Avoid junk foods, fried foods, spicy foods, chocolates, ice-cream, etc.

Sir I have gynecomastia, I was a very obese person before with 90 kg, had grade B fatty liver, I thought that it may be because of the fat that I had man boobs, but now even after losing weight (70 kgs now), the gynecomastia has not regressed, I have not taken medication for it, I tried to do some exercises for it but not much of a help, I also have a bended posture that is I usually walk with my back bended forward giving a very bad look, I do can walk straight but not for a long time, please help.

1.Male boob is due to a medical condition called gynaecomastia which is some times seen in adolescent age group or young adults 2.It is due to elevated level of blood estrogen and decrease level of testosterone. 3.It is not serious and sometimes go away on its own otherwise has to be treated by medicine or surgery 4.It is due to excess accumulation of fat in the chest 5.Regular chest and arm exercise like dumbbell exercise and push up exercise will help reduce the gynaecomastia 6. Reduce intake of fatty food like red meat, cheese, butter, ghee, cream, whole milk etc 7. Avoid alcohol since it decreases blood testosterone 8.Apply Gynexol cream containing natural ingredients like aloevera juice, retinol, vitamin A, extract of Ginkgo biloba or take Gynexin pills containing green tea extract, caffeine etc 9. Hi Ravi There is very simple and easy to follow diet plan with which you can lose 2-5kg in just 15days. This plan can be done by you easily. For Breakfast you take 150g curd, 30g Lipolyzer powder, 10g milk cream, 25g roasted flax seed, 100g any fruit, mix them all together in a bowl. Lunch – 2 Chapatti made with Nutroactive Brown Atta, 150g cooked vegetables, 150g green salads like cucumber and tomato. Dinner – 200g any cooked vegetable or vegetable soup only. Follow this diet plan exactly as said; you will surely lose few kilos immediately.

मेटाबॉलिज्म के स्लो डाउन होने की सबसे बड़ी वजह होती है आप खाना तो पूरा खा रहे हैं, लेकिन वर्कआउट नहीं कर रहे हैं, इसके अलावा हमारी 8 घंटे नींद का पूरा ना होना भी पेट का फैट बढ़ाता है। रात की नींद अगर पूरी नहीं होगी तो आपका खाना डाइजेस्ट नहीं होगा तो आप का मेटाबॉलिज्म धीरे-धीरे स्लो होता जाएगा।

मोटापा घटाने के लिए खान-पान में सुधार जरूरी है। कुछ प्राकृतिक चीजें और कुछ आदतें ऐसी हैं, जिन्हें अपनाने से बेडौल पेट को सुडौल बनाया जा सकता है और जो अभी फिट हैं वे इन नुस्खों की मदद से अपनी मेंटेनेंस को बरकरार रख सकते हैं।

1. खाने के तुरंत बाद पानी नहीं 
सबसे पहले तो ध्यान रखने वाली बात यह है कि खाना खाने के तुरंत बाद पानी न पीयें, बल्कि खाने के एक से डेढ़ घंटे के अंतराल पर पानी पीयें।
2. कार्बोहाइड्रेट से बचें
ज्यादा कार्बोहाइड्रेट वाली वस्तुओं से परहेज करें। शक्कर, आलू और चावल में अधिक कार्बोहाइड्रेट होता है। ये चर्बी बढ़ाते हैं।
3. मिश्रित आटा
केवल गेहूं के आटे की रोटी की बजाए गेहूं, सोयाबीन और चने के मिश्रित आटे की रोटी ज्यादा फायदेमंद है।
4. पत्ता गोभी
रोज पत्तागोभी का जूस पिएं। पत्तागोभी में चर्बी घटाने के गुण होते हैं। इससे शरीर का मेटाबॉलिज्म सही रहता है।
5. पपीता 
पपीता नियमित रूप से खाएं। यह हर सीजन में मिल जाता है। लंबे समय तक पपीता के सेवन से कमर की अतिरिक्त चर्बी कम होती है।
6. दही 
दही का सेवन करने से शरीर की फालतू चर्बी घट जाती है। छाछ का भी सेवन दिन में दो-तीन बार करें।
7. मिर्च
मोटापा कम नहीं हो रहा हो तो खाने में कटी हुई हरी मिर्च या काली मिर्च को शामिल करके बढ़ते वजन पर काबू पाया जा सकता है। एक रिसर्च में पाया गया कि वजन कम करने का सबसे बेहतरीन तरीका मिर्च खाना है। मिर्च में पाए जाने वाले तत्व कैप्साइसिन से भूख कम होती है। इससे ऊर्जा की खपत भी बढ़ जाती है, जिससे वजन कंट्रोल में रहता है।
8. अजवाइन
अपनी डाइट में अजवाइन की पत्तियों को शामिल कर लीजिए। अजवाइन की पत्ती के सेवन से पेट की चर्बी कम होती है। बेहद कम कैलोरी, फाइबर युक्त, कैल्शियम और विटामिन सी का प्रमुख माध्यम होने की वजह से ये बेली फैट कम करने में एक असरकारक चीज है। खाने के पहले अजवाइन का पानी पीने से पाचन तंत्र सही रहता है
9. पुदीना
एक चम्मच पुदीना रस को 2 चम्मच शहद में मिलाकर लेते रहने से मोटापा कम होता है।
10. सब्जी और फल 
सब्जियों और फलों में कैलोरी कम होती है, इसलिए इनका सेवन अधिक मात्रा में करें। केला और चीकू न खाएं। इनसे मोटापा बढ़ता है। पुदीने की चाय बनाकर पीने से मोटापा कम होता है।
11. सलाद 
खाने के साथ टमाटर और प्याज का सलाद काली मिर्च व नमक डालकर खाएं। इनसे शरीर को विटामिन सी, विटामिन ए, विटामिन के, आयरन, पोटैशियम, लाइकोपीन और ल्यूटिन मिलेेगा। इन्हें खाने के बाद खाने से पेट जल्दी भर जाएगा और वजन नियंत्रित हो जाएगा।
12. अनानास
अनानास में ब्रोमीलेन नामक एंजाइम पाया जाता है। ये तत्व पेट को फ्लैट करने में मददगार
13. साइक्लिंग
पेट की चर्बी कम करने के लिए साइक्लिंग करना फायदेमंद है।  टहलना सेहत के लिए फायदेमंद है। 
14. सीढ़ी
लिफ्ट की जगह सीढ़ियों का प्रयोग करें।

To reduce extra weight do regular exercise like yoga, swimming, skipping, plank, push ups. Sit ups etc. Avoid fast foods, junk foods, processed foods. Don't have sugar, sweetened juice. Instead of these eat more whole fruit, vegetables as these will help to reduce fat. Take small quantity of food 5-6 times instead of 3 big meals. Take more protein rich foods. Use good fats like olive oil, refined vegetable oil, almond, walnut. Drink lots of water to stay hydrated. Stay busy with work not with foods. Take proper rest.
