I will suggest not to take as you are having high BP, ashvagandha is no your reason of weight gain, its insulin resistance which is increasing your weight

Hi Lybrate user … Eat few these things for avoid over weight gain and fat. Apples: They are super foods that you can take three to four times a day as a substitute to carb-rich foods. Almonds: Rich in Vitamin E and has high fiber content that will make you feel full and reduce your hunger. Green Leafy Vegetables: They are rich in fiber and very low in calories. They will help in preventing water retention. Avocado: They are rich in high fiber and have high monounsaturated fatty acids that help in reducing belly fat. Cucumber: Cucumber is a vegetable that has high water content and is very low in calories. Watermelon: It is a fruit that has 80% water content in it and very few calories. They help in easily attaining desired waistline. Beans: This vegetable helps in improving digestion, as well as strengthening muscles. It will help in toning the belly by reducing hunger and prevent you from overeating. There are few good exercise for reducing belly fat. I. E. Crunches, Reverse Crunches, Twist Crunches, Vertical Leg Crunch, Side Crunches, Bicycle Exercise, Rolling Plank Exercise, Lunge Twist, Side To Side Bending, Stomach Vacuum, Captain’s Chair, Walking, Jogging, Running, Cardio Exercises, Swimming. Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control....take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day....medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day....and pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day...avoid junk food...oily food...fermented food..alcohol consumption..sugar....milk products and sweets....take oats and cereals more..and do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day...and do exercises....dont sleep immediately after taking meal....

Dear user. I can understand. Please understand there are no short cuts for Weight loosing. You have to undergo stringent exercise regime according to your requirement in weight loss. You need to do at least one hour of physical exercise per day so that you can have a reduction of around 2 kgs per month. Secondly you have to augment your efforts with nutritious non fatty diet. Take care.

Hi lybrate-user, for effective weight loss one should be determined & start with adding few changes in the life style as it should not be a short time fix! 1. Start maintaining a diet diary, measure what you are eating. 2. Go for a min 30 minutes of a brisk walk or cardio. 3. Have small frequent meals. 4. Increase your water intake. 5. Add colour to your plate in form different vegetables & add protein to your every meal 6. Cut down on unhealthy snacks, aerated drinks, sweets. 7. Reduce salt intake. 8. Never skip breakfast. 9. Do not starve yourself. 10. Enrich your diet with fibre. 11. Get atleast 7-8 hour of sleep at night. 12. Avoid stress. 13. Believe in yourself. 14. Don not rush weight loss- bad habits are difficult to break. Do not be hard on yourself.

Take high fiber low fat diet. Take plenty of water every day. Take frequent and small meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs.

For obesity:
Take one teaspoon honey, half piece of ginger and squeeze half lemon and mix them well thereafter add a full glass of luke warm water. Take it regularly at empty stomach in the morning. Definately works.

How to reduce obesity at high level and how it is related to tension enhancing. Please explain me?
You may be into emotional eating for this weight gain. Whenever you are in tension, sometimes it may be depression, then you will tend to eat more to deal with the tension. You need to identify the emotion that is behind the excessive eating: are you sad, angry, afraid or happy that you tend to want to eat every time? When you have done that it is as simple as addressing the feeling that feeds into the over-eating and you will cease to have a problem. This can be done with a counselor, ideally. Many of us over-eat when emotionally distraught. You are already over-weight. Apart from that it is likely that your metabolism might have reduced considerably making you susceptible to gain weight even with small quantities of food. If you still want to eat (I mean healthy food of course), you can consume more, if you did some noteworthy exercise, after getting approval from your doctor. Exercise boosts your metabolic rate. Foods also boost metabolism: egg whites, lean meat, water, chili peppers, coffee, green tea, milk, whole grains, and lentils. Cucumber is a zero calorie food and takes long to digest and much metabolism too. If you have it before each meal and any amount too, it will curb the amount of consumption. Even so, the addictive aspect of eating involves the obsession and compulsion i.e. your mind will be always thinking about food and then it will feed into a compulsion to consume something. So, if you occupy yourself, (not busy) then the mind will not think too much on food and therefore it will negate the compulsion. Meet with a counselor and be very cooperative to true success.

To reduce weight it's very important to balance your energy intake the expenditure. Eating small & frequent meals, including high fiber foods such as whole cereals & whole pulses will help you to lose weight but I would suggest you to discuss your lifestyle in detail so to ensure good results.

Maintain input out put ratio. Whatever you eat calculate calories that called input calories after that do exercise and burn some calories that is out put calories. Eat less exercise more weight will loos have a barley soup at dinner have a dinner at 8.00pm and sleep at 10---11.00pm. Avoid rice at night.

You cannot target one body part in isolation. You have to work on overall toning and loss. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.

Do yoga at least after 2hrs of your morning meals. Cream dsnt help in weight loss. Add 1spoon isabgol in your rotis and triphala powder soaked overnight in water have it in morning and night and avoid spicy junk fry foods and do 30mints of exercise in the day.

You can definitely reduce Fat ,Follow this Low calorie, normal protein, vitamins and minerals, low carbohydrate, low fat and liberal fluid, high fibre diet is recommended. 1) There is no other way of reducing weight except by consuming less calories. 2) Deep fried, processed foods, pickles, papads, pastries, biscuits, nuts, chocolates, ice creams, deserts should be completely avoided. 3) During business meetings go for plain rice with thin dals and lots of salads. 4) Dinner should be taken as early as possible 5) Simple sugars, nuts, dry fruits ( except almonds and walnuts) should be restricted. 6) Small frequent meals ( containing high fibre, low fat ,moderate to low carbohydrates , moderate proteins, normal vitamins and minerals)with regular exercise is beneficial. 7) Begin your meal with a big bowl of salad or soups. 8) Drink plenty of water. 9) Do not skip meals 10) Prefer roasted /grilled /steamed/boiled food items. 11) Tea consumption should be reduced . Replace tea with organic green tea. Do not have tea along with any meal. 12) Consumption of full cream milk will increase fat percentage so skimmed milk is a good option. Avoid -Rice, Sugar ,Potato ,Sweets,Beet , Ghee, fried foods,j unkfood ,vada, samosa, bhajji, Banana ,Grapes ,Chickoo,Seetaphal ,Mango Avoid Mutton ,organ meats, egg yolk, buffaloes milk, cheese, paneer ,pizza ,burger,Choclates etc. Have 2-3 Cups of ecovalley green Tea ,it will help reducing Weight & Fat.
