Hi, I am 34 years male with weight 79 kg. Have some normal fat in body. My face seems normal with not much weight. Since yesterday I am feeling I get increased fat below chin. This increased fat is below chin so I am trying to press it towards neck. Since morning I am doing it so grow discomfort in that area. I am practically fine, just this irritating double chin like sagging. I am worrying if it could be related to some underlying medical condition. Please advice me which doctor should I consult? ENT doc? What could be possible causes. I just feel some cough in throat but it's normal. No nausea or vomiting or nothing any issues in health. Eating home food only. No smoking, no alcohol. Since morning I am pressing chin to neck so feel discomfort below china soft area which seems little puffy.

Jaw Jut Tilt your head back and look toward the ceiling. Push your lower jaw forward to feel a stretch under the chin. Hold the jaw jut for a 10 count. Relax your jaw and return your head to a neutral position. Repeat this 10 times. Push against your hand with your head and neck without moving your head forward. Repeat the exercise on each side of your head to improve your lateral neck strength as well. Hold a tennis ball under your chin. Using your neck muscles to keep the ball in place helps you get a stronger chin for boxing. Stand with good posture with your head in its natural position. Push your jaw out and lift your lower lip as high on your face as possible. Hold it in that position for 10 seconds, then relax. You should feel the muscles directly underneath your chin stretch a bit.

Carrot juice is very effective in reducing fat from your body. Take one or two fresh carrots and peel off its outer skin. Now put the carrots in a juice blender and extract its juice. Drink a glass of carrot juice every day in the morning. You can also include carrots in your daily salad mixture or eat as raw carrots or can even have it steam cooked with other vegetables every day to see a visible weight loss.

Lybrate-user prakash, avoid sugar, sugary food, sugary drink and refined flour products. Start jogging or biking for 30-50 minutes 3 to 4 times a week. During weekend spend 60-90 minutes. Your fat will start melting slowly and you will nurture excellent health protection.

Hi thanks for writing. According to your height your weight should be 51 kg you have to loss 11 kg weight only. Do not worry its not a big target you can easily loose this 11 kg weight. First we have to find our reason of your weight gain. You have to remember one thing avoid dieting for weight, cause dieting will help you loose some weight but after some period you will put on double weight. Tips for weight loss. 1. Try to take our research oriented holistic medicines for assures, fast and permanent weight loss. Without surgery, without gym, without crush dieting, with out side effect. Hi - incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating.

Hi lybrate user firstly, start doing surya namaskar in morning and start eating triphla chooran (natural medicine) in morning empty stomach with luke warm water. Start a fruit dieting every alternative day, means you have to eat fruits every alternative days & normal fruit every other alternative days. Avoid late night dinners and try to eat nothing after sunset. Sit in vajrasana after every meal you eat for 10 minutes. Walk atleast 30 min in morning.

Maintain input out put ratio. Whatever you eat calculate calories that called input calories after that do exercise and burn some calories that is out put calories. Eat less exercise more weight will loos have a barley soup at dinner have a dinner at 8.00pm and sleep at 10---11.00pm. Avoid rice at night.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

Hello- Follow these regimen to reduce your weight- 1. Eat a high-protein breakfast. Eating a high-protein breakfast has been shown to reduce cravings and calorie intake throughout the day. 2. Avoid sugary drinks and fruit juice. These are the most fattening things you can put into your body, and avoiding them can help you lose weight. 3. Drink water a half hour before meals. One study showed that drinking water a half hour before meals increased weight loss by 44% over 3 months. 4. Choose weight loss-friendly foods. 5. Eat soluble fiber. Studies show that soluble fibers may reduce fat, especially in the belly area. Fiber supplements like glucomannan can also help. 6. Drink coffee or tea. If you’re a coffee or a tea drinker, then drink as much as you want as the caffeine in them can boost your metabolism by 3-11%. 7. Eat mostly whole, unprocessed foods. Base most of your diet on whole foods. They are healthier, more filling and much less likely to cause overeating. 8. Eat your food slowly. Fast eaters gain more weight over time. Eating slowly makes you feel more full and boosts weight-reducing hormones. 9. Use smaller plates. Studies show that people automatically eat less when they use smaller plates. You have to persist with a low carbohydrate and low fat, high protein diet. Stop all cereals, sugar, bakery products and desserts. Take the white of 2 boiled eggs and lots of fruits and green vegetables and salads. White meat like fish and chicken made in little bit of olive oil / cornflower oil is good. If you don' t loose weight soon you will develop diabetes and high bp and need bariatric surgery. Hi, you should go for brisk walk in the morning and evening. Do regular exercise atleast 15 minutes daily. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Take salad before meals. Drink more water in a day. Don't take rice at night and don't skip breakfast. Avoid junk food and oily food. Avoid soya products. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals.

I am 32 years old, suffering from Hypothyroid from last 6 years. I am 5'8" height and 75 Kg weight. From last 1 year regularly I am doing walk for 6 km daily. Still I am not loosing my weight. As per BMI chart my ideal weight is between 65-69. I don't eat high calorie food also. I reducing high calorie food from last 6 years. Recently, I am feeling too much tired and unable to walk in the mornings. My Thyroid levels are normal, taking Thyronorm 75mcg everyday. I am feeling too much heaviness recently. Can you help me in this regard. I would like to lose weight to get into BMI normal range.

morning sickness or tiredness in morning may occurs due to thyroid. bodyache also occurs. don not worry..you can take any multivitamin medicines or take juice in morning after thyroid medicines. and take proper dose of your medicines. you can increase your medicines dose from 75mcg to 100mcg for reducing your weight. you will find your weight in BMI.

Here are some energy-dense foods that are perfect for gaining weight: • Nuts: Almonds, walnuts, macadamia nuts, peanuts, etc. • Dried fruit: Raisins, dates, prunes and others. • High-fat dairy: Whole milk, full-fat yogurt, cheese, cream. • Fats and Oils: Extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil. • Grains: Whole grains like oats and brown rice. • Meat: Chicken, beef, pork, lamb, etc. Choose fattier cuts. • Tubers: Potatoes, sweet potatoes and yams. • Dark chocolate, avocados, peanut butter, coconut milk, granola, trail mixes. 8 More Tips to Gain Weight 1. Hye. In order to lose weight you must either eat sensibly and exercise to burn off calories. Eat as per the body's needs. Food that is not used to fuel the body is stored as fat. A major component of losing weight is to make smarter food choices. Here's how: Limit non-nutritious foods, such as: Sugar, honey, syrups and candy, pastries, donuts, pies, cakes and cookies, soft drinks, sweetened juices and alcoholic beverages Cut down on high-fat foods by: Choosing poultry, fish or lean red meat. Choosing low-fat cooking methods, such as baking, broiling, steaming, grilling and boiling. Avoiding high-fat snacks like chips and chocolate. Avoiding fried foods. Using less margarine and mayonnaise. Avoiding high-fat gravies, cream sauces and cream-based dishes. Eat a variety of foods, including: Fruit and vegetables, whole grains, breads, cereal, rice and pasta, dairy products, such as low-fat or non-fat milk or yogurt, low-fat cottage cheese and low-fat cheese, protein-rich foods like chicken,  fish, dals and legumes, or beans should be included in your diet.
