Lybrate-user, with anti - tpo abs being high (688.8) you are having hashimoto's thyroiditis (ht), which has caused hypothyroidism. Tsh may be normal, but there is hypothyroidism. That is the reason for increasing weight or being unable to reduce it. So you need to start treatment with thyroxine tablets right away. Thanks. Hyena,  Thanks for the query. There’s no overnight fix when it comes to healthy weight loss, but you can adjust your lifestyle to promote quick, natural weight loss for the benefit of your health and your appearance. Successful, long-term weight management needs to focus on more than the food you eat and the pounds you lose. It needs to focus on your overall health. Reshape your body and your lifestyle by adopting healthy habits and breaking unhealthy ones. Replace all processed foods in your diet with vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low-fat dairy, lean meats, eggs, legumes, nuts, seeds and seafood. Focus on the variety of whole, unprocessed foods you can eat instead of dwelling on the junk food you eliminated from your diet. Eat smaller portions at every meal and avoid going back for seconds. Take a smaller scoop of rice,  half of a piece of chicken instead of a whole piece and one less egg in your morning omelet, for example. Make time for breakfast every morning. Eating breakfast helps prevent overeating and is a habit of people who successfully lose weight. Pack to-go meals instead of eating convenience foods when you’re not home. Store foods like chopped fruits and vegetables or cooked grains, legumes, eggs and meats in your refrigerator so you always have something to grab when you’re in a rush. Buy fresh vegetables and fruits from the grocery store if you forget to bring healthful food from home. When you can’t avoid dining at a restaurant, opt for a salad as a starter, and always ask for the dressing on the side. Clear soups, lean meats, seafood and grain-based dishes like roti, whole grain bread are other good choices. Exercise for 30 to 60 minutes at least three times per week to build muscle and burn more calories. Pilates, strength training, aerobics, swimming, dancing and yoga or a sport like football are ideal choices. If you’re new to exercising, start with brisk walking and jogging. Adopt physically demanding hobbies like bicycling, hiking, jogging, power walking to promote faster weight loss. If you don’t have time for new hobbies, increase your physical activity with things like walking the dog, playing with the kids or jogging instead of driving to a nearby store or taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

Hi, Stomach ache may be due to gases accumulating in stomach and not passing out.In summer avoid eating junk food as this food may be contaminated and may contain bacterial growth.Drink plenty of water (3-4liters /day) Eat fruits and avoid spicy food. Do hot fomentation keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days do knee exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. You will need other supportive medicines also. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don? t ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. Some tips 1) drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take ? of your total as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity.

Hi stretching exercises will help if done regularly Take medicine RITE-HITE (SBL) 4tabs to be chewed twice a day ,1/2 an hour before meals. Do pranayam,Suryanamaskar daily. Do swimming and stretching exercises daily .Do this regularly as you have a better chance of growth till 25yrs of age.

To control diabetes following steps must be taken - 1) take prescribed medicines correctly. Without missing a dose, 2) eat balanced food as advised by your physician, 3) avoid sweets, sugar, deep fried foods, pastries, 4) exercise daily for more than 1 hour (brisk walking can be good), 5) maintain your weight with in normal limit, bmi < 23 kg/m2. This changed life style should be followed meticulously day in & day out.

Yes you can gain by milky product as well as fruits and vegetables also. If your digestive system is ok, then go for said product in time without stress, sound sleep and intake maximum pure water at least 5 lit. A day. I hope you will improve.

That can be a male pattern baldness at the onset. Check the shampoo you are using. Suggest to decrease the frequency you use shampoo. Use castor oil for scalp massage. It will help.

There is no truth in it. 6. Have confidence in you 7. Keep a good healthy routine, ief you write your routine necessary modification can be suggested. 8. Do 30 mts morning walk in open area and do deep breathing exercise for 5-10 mts daily 9. For the time being you can keep the lights of your room on while sleeping. Try for 10 days and report.

Do not stop without completing the course of the antibiotics. Stomach upset is due to side effects of the antibiotics. Take a pan 40 mg tablet in empty stomach before breakfast till you are taking the antibiotics.

Hello, For weight gain proper nutrition is a must. 1) you can start including more milk, cow ghee, fruits & vegetables in your diet. 2) stop eating junk & processed food. 3) make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee. 4 ) eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night. 5) boost up your appetite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins. 6) massaging whole body with vata balancing herbal oil (ksheerabala oil) is very beneficial 7) reducing stress level, sleeping comfortably for long hours and afternoon naps are very essential to increase body mass.
