Hello you need to have a balanced diet including a good amount of protein foods like milk, paneer, cheese, sprouts, pulses (all dals, sprouts, eggs, chicken, lean meat, fish (if non-vegetarian, atleast 3 -4 times in a week. Have 2 -3 servings of fruits & vegetables daily. To increase your memory & concentration, begin your day with soaked 5-6 almonds, 2-3 walnuts daily in the morning, have spinach (palak), avocado, brocolli, pumpkin seeds in your diet.

I have hypothyroid ,TSH level 8. I feel dizzy ,lazy. This problem also cause weight gain. If I have got any other illness whose symptom is weight loss .Will it go unnoticed due to my thyroid problem?

Mr. lybrate-user, With TSH value of 8 mU/L, you have sub-clinical hypothyroidism.(SCH). Usually SCH does not need any treatment. But weight gain is there and other symptoms also are present then treatment with thyroxin is advocated. As regards the second part of your question it is difficult to give a clear answer. Usually such kind of things do not happen simultaneously. Thanks.

Hello, I am a 13 years old boy actually when I was playing cricket in my cricket academy I was injured by a synthetic ball in my forehead. After consulting doctor after a hour my nose started bleeding and even blood was coming from mouth when I inhaled saliva. Why it is so? There is any ways prevent it?

I'm 21 years old female. Im an epilepsy patient. I got 3-4seizures per month this was repeated for 2months. After consulting Dr, I started taking (diproex er 500) tablet. After that I didn't any seizures. I started taking drugs from the age of 9-21. Can I recover from this seizures without taking drugs? Can I get married with this problem? How can I prevent shivering in my hands, legs? My hands and legs always seem to be watery. What kind of food can I take?

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Ruta 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines.

First of all you should follow some basic thing 1. Avoid=hot and cold at time 2. Less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3. I am feeling too much weakness now a days, and I also have dark circles under my eyes and also I have pain under my eyes. So please suggest me what should I do.

Dark circles can occur if you don't get adequate sleep, so make sure you get at least a six hour sleep. Don't rub your eyes since this can aggravate darkness. Eye cosmetics vil harm a lot, so keep away. If you have any dust allergy, get it treated. Spent less time with a computer. Correct any anaemia if present. Have green leafy vegetables. Also, see an ophtjalmologist in this matter.

I have black spots and pimples on my face. What Any solution for removing black spots and pimples?

Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens 2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. Neither can you stop the over-production of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkercheif with you whenever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire on entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing facewash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifoium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples.

Polycystic ovarian disease causes irregular menstrual cycles, excessive body or facial hair and polycystic ovaries and infertility. It is due to hormonal imbalances. Treatment-- healthy diet and regular exercise is recommended for all women with pcos. If overweight, reduce your weight. Medications includes-birth control pills to regulate menstruation, insulin-sensitizing medications, ovulation induction to treat infertility or androgen-blocking medications. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.
