Hi After sex my sperm falls out from vagina why? What should I do? Because I want a baby.

MD-Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine & Surgery (BAMS)
Sexologist, Haldwani
Hello- Ejaculate (the stuff that comes out when a man ejaculates) is made up of a lot of different things. One of it's components is sperm. In a normal male ejaculate, there are anywhere between 20 and 400 million sperm. All you need to get pregnant is one. What normally happens after intercourse, is that a lot of the ejaculate does leak out. Some of it, however, remains in the back of the vagina (in the posterior fornix) and an even smaller amount makes it's way up through the cervix, into the uterus and down the fallopian tubes. It is here, in the fallopian tubes, that the sperm and egg meet. So, you don't need to lie in bed with your legs up after intercourse to get pregnant and the fact that semen is leaking out afterwards, doesn't decrease your chances of conceiving.

Hello sir, When i eat egg i am getting pain in stomach. What should i do to cure?

MD Pediatrics
Pediatrician, Faridabad
Hello sir, When i eat egg i am getting pain in stomach. What should i do to cure?
Eating eggs doesnot cause pain in abdomen. Reason for pain in stomach must be lying somewhere else which needs examination to diagnose the exact cause. You can avoid earing eggs if you are very sure if eggs are causing it as it may be case of egg allergy.

Dear Lybrate user. Phimosis is a congenital narrowing of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be retracted. Phimosis is a very common problem. In most of the cases you can clear the problem yourself. Phimosis could cause moderate to severe pain while having vaginal intercourse. Apply oil on your foreskin and on the glans. Move the foreskin forward and back slowly without hurting you much. Because the oil is lubricant, it will be easier than without oil. Do this forward and back movement 20 times several times in a day. Repeat the same every day for around one month. You will get the elasticity and you will be able to retract the foreskin completely. In case if there is no result from the above massage, you can always go for a minor surgical procedure called circumcision. Take care.

Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello, bronchitis/ asthma can be treated well with homoeopathic medicines completely, only need to be regular with the medication and avoid those foods/ things to which you are allergic to for sometime. Keep taking your already on going medication, reduce it gradually and slowly once homoeopathic starts acting. Take bakson's astha-aid drops/ 10-15 drops in 1/2 cup water/ thrice d day for 1 month. Report me back after a month.

Blood Pressure Medicines!

MBBS, Dip.Cardiology, Fellowship in Clinical Cardiology(FICC), Fellowship in Echocardiology
Cardiologist, Ghaziabad
Blood Pressure Medicines!

High blood pressure, also called hypertension, usually has no symptoms. But it can cause serious problems such as stroke, heart failureheart attack and kidney failure. If you cannot control your high blood pressure through lifestyle changes such as losing weight and reducing sodium in your diet, you may need medicines.

Blood pressure medicines work in different ways to lower blood pressure. Some remove extra fluid and salt from the body. Others slow down the heartbeat or relax and widen blood vessels. Often, two or more medicines work better than one.

FDA has approved many medications to treat high blood pressure, including

  • Diuretics, or “water pills,” which help the kidneys flush extra water and salt from your body and decrease blood volume
  • Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors and Angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs), reduce blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels
  • Beta blockers, which also cause the heart to beat with less force
  • Drugs that directly relax the blood vessels. These include calcium channel blockers (CCBs) and other direct dilators (relaxers) of blood vessels
  • Alpha blockers, which reduce nerve impulses that tighten blood vessels
  • Nervous system inhibitors, which control nerve impulses from the brain to relax blood vessels

Many people with high blood pressure may need more than one medication to reach their goal blood pressure. Your health care provider can tell you if you should be on medication and, if so, which drug(s) may be best for you.
