Low-grade fevers should be left untreated and left to run their normal course unless there are other worrying symptoms that need medical attention. Temperatures above 100.4 F or 38 C require immediate attention especially where children and infants are concerned. If sugar levels are in control start some good nutritional supplement .we have advice call for it.

There is evidence that certain dietary supplements and vitamins can help with certain types of pain. Fish oil is often used to reduce pain associated with swelling. Topical capsaicin, derived from chili peppers, may help with arthritis, diabetic nerve pain, and other conditions. There's evidence that glucosamine can help relieve moderate to severe pain from osteoarthritis in the knee. Do reply back for private consultation. And detailed treatment plan.

Hello- There are several factors behind low sperm motility and count which are acquired and not congenital (by birth). Since these factors develop due to infections, injury, improper life style and dietary mistakes, it can surely be improved with the help of herbal supplementation. I advice you to consult a ayurvedic doctor and start the treatment, you will surely be benefited within a month's time.

Once or twice a week of masturbation is normal. Excessive doing it will cause health hazards. Don't believe the myths about the harms of masturbation. If you want to stop your masturbation addiction, then you should do it for reasons that are personal and moral, not for reasons that are health-related. The only real health problem that can be caused is pain and rawness from chronic masturbation, but that can go away if you stop touching yourself so frequently. Here are some things that masturbation will not do to your body: • Masturbation will not cause infertility, premature ejaculation, or impotence. • Masturbation will not cause insanity. • Masturbation will not cause blindness, or even eye floaters. • Masturbation will not cause frequent urination. • Masturbation does not affect facial hair, growth, facial features, kidneys, testicles,or skin problems, or cause any major physical issues! These are all myths.

I am 29 years old, I am taking treatment for thyriod and pcod, can you please suggest me the home remedy for hair growth ?

MBBS, DGO (cal)
General Physician,
No home remedy for control of hair growth. Treatment with anti-androgenic medicines, possibly your are getting that for pcod, shall reduce hair growth. For your attention: - I see you are obese. You must bring down your weight simultaneously. Otherwise you wont get rid of pcod. Your desired weight is maximum 58 kg, not a kg more. Continue thyroxine tablets in the dose prescribed by your doctor. Constantly follow your doctor's advice. Take it seriously.

Dear Lybrate user, Welcome to Lybrate. Chewing tobacco addiction also comes under abuse and addiction. If you’re ready to stop the substance and willing to get the support you need, you can recover from addiction and abuse —no matter how bad the addiction or how powerless you feel. The first step in treating addiction is accepting that you have a problem. Confronting an addiction and accepting responsibility for your actions isn’t easy. But it’s a necessary step on the road to treatment and recovery. You should then consult a psychiatrist / psychologist who fill follow this treatment. 1. Detoxification using medicines. 2. Behavior modification with the help of therapies. 3. Counseling. 4. Medication to sustain and 5. Long term support. These given steps are essential for any addict to get effectively rid of addiction. Therefore, you need to stick to the treatment plan. Take care.

If any person walking on a path suddenly snake bite that person so what we have to do?

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Tie a knot above the bite and rest without panic and get help to reach hospital .The aim of first aid is to retard the systemic absorption of venom and prevent life-threatening complications by prompt transport to a medical facility. First aid can be performed by victim himself/herself or by any person who happens to be nearby. Traditionally, first aid included making local incisions or “tattooing” at the site of the bite, attempts at suctioning venom out of the wound, use of tight bands (tourniquets) around the limb, and/or local application of ice packs. None of the traditional remedies have any proven medical benefit. They should be discouraged as they do more harm than good and delay transport to a medical facility. Incision, suction, electric shocks, cryotherapy, or washing the wound are contraindicated as any interference with the wound introduces infection, increases bleeding from the site, and hastens absorption of the venom. The current guidelines for first aid include the following: 1. Reassure the victim (70% of all snakebites are by nonvenomous snakes and 50% of bites by venomous species are dry bites[19]) 2. Immobilize the affected limb (by bandage or clothes to hold splint, but tight arterial compression is not recommended) 3. Promptly transfer of victim to hospital
