I had undergone a Gall bladder removal surgery last 7 days back. There is no pain right now. They have put 4 holes. They said Stitches ll automatically fall down within 2 weeks. But am facing an issue past 2 days. When I sleep in the night and while getting up in the morning I could notice some blood discharge near the naval where the stitches have put. Is anything to worry? When we asked doctor he said nothing to worry. Am concerned about it.

Hello dear Lybrate user, Warm welcome to Lybrate.com I have evaluated your query thoroughly. Possible infection at the site, otherwise there should not be bleeding at 7 days. Must visit surgeon, it requires dressing and antibiotics to cover up. Hope this clears your query. Wishing you fine recovery. Welcome for any further assistance. Regards take care.

I am 41 years old Male (5o kg weight, O) and am working as Lecturer in a College in India. Since few months I am getting rashes on my skin if the weather changes, grey coloured stools (often). Near the toes of left leg the skin became rough and if scratched even lightly blood oozes out. My belly starts bulging now. I lost my appetite, sleep and even if I sleep it is not deep sleep. Recently my fingers started paining (Here in India Doctors said - may be Leishmaniasis (Testkit unavailable so confirmation cannot be done). Or HIV (I rule out this since I am unmarried and never had any sex with any woman) How to confirm any of these diseases?

Dear lybrate-user. Leishmaniasis is known to cause by protozoal infection manifesting in complex ways. When kit is not available, I hope you have consulted other specialist doctors too. Moreover simply guessing hiv will not lead you anywhere since there is some gaps in information what I guess. Even if it is established, pl see that hiv spreads not only by sex with women but there are many other routes too. For that pl explore net for full information you need. In my opinion if protozoal infection is there, rashes will not be linked with only change of season. For grey stools pl go for stool examination and general blood work and attach reports. Oozing of blood on scratching could be caused by eczematous skin too. Belly bulging, lack of appetite, lack of sleep should be tried to be connected with your lifestyle, food habits etc. So my advise is do not get scared unnecessarily without any solid investigations. For the time being start with cleaning the gut by herbal intestinal cleansers periodically, start fresh air walks, deep breathing, meditation even if for shortest periods initially. Modify your diet to light food, leafy greens, fibrous fruits being at least 25-50% of one major meals at least, take herbal - simple appetizers - and start caring your skin with herbal'raktashodhak' and external care herbs. Start it today. Start drinking warm water. With food, intermittently. See the changes in about 4 weeks and report and within that time try to rule out other diseases if not done already. For any further query please inform.

Is there any medicine to remove fordyce spot on lips? I don't want to go for laser treatment.

Is there any medicine to remove fordyce spot on lips? I don't want to go for laser treatment.
Fordyce Spots on lips are self resolving and benign. They usually get cured without any treatment and the health care specialists do not recommend any treatment for them. But for those people who find them unattractive and a concern cosmetically, there are plenty of treatment options available which accelerates the cure of such spots. 1. Trichloroacetic Acid Peel This chemical peel is a popular treatment for Fordyce spots. It peels off the skin on the spots, thereby causing significant improvement in their appearance. However if you use this on the lips, it is important to keep them moisturized. Also when the treatment is stopped, spots may reoccur. 2. Tretinoin Gel Another product which is found to be effective against Fordyce spots on lips is Tretinoin gel or cream. It reduces the prominence of the spots substantially. It is more effective if used with an alpha hydroxyacid agent. 3. Cryosurgery Cryosurgery is an option to treat Fordyce spots. Treatment should always be taken by a board certifies dermatologist.

Hello, is it an injury mark or some other mark? apply homoeopathic - thiosinaminum ointment to your scar in a thin layer or else you can use thiosinaminum q few drops mixed in a glycerin solution on scars that are visible (as it is less greasy, so is more easily absorbed into the skin. Also take causticum 200 orally/ thrice daily for 2 weeks, to dissolve large, extensive scars. The oral dose supports the action of the topical application.

I have dark spots under my eyes how it should be reduce and what should I do to reduce these dark spots.
Hello, dark spots below eyes means dark circles then follow the below:- take healthy balanced diet including whole grains, green leafy vegetables, fruits and nuts. Drink 10 to 12 glasses of water daily. Take a sound sleep of 8 hours minimum. Apply bakson's under eye cream on the dark circles. Apply ramdev's aloe vera gel on the whole face at night. Home remedy:-1. Cucumbers have skin-lightening and mild astringent properties that help fix those raccoon eyes naturally. Plus, they have a soothing and refreshing effect. Cut a fresh cucumber into thick slices and chill them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Put the slices onto the affected skin area for about 10 minutes. Wash the area with water. Repeat twice daily for about a week or more. Another option is to mix cucumber juice with lemon juice in equal amounts. Use a cotton ball to apply the mixture on the affected skin. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then wash it off with water. Follow this remedy daily for at least one week.

Hello, Shaving and hair removal creams damage the sensitive genital skin. Laser hair removal is safe and effective. The laser used is different for fine and coarse hair. You will need 6-8 sessions followed by six months or a yearly maintainance. Cost may vary between 4-8 thousand per session. Consult a dermatologist.
