My hair are going so thin and now I am suffering from heavy hair falling, is that masturbation can be the one cause of it bcz I am too addict for it.

B H M S, MD
Homeopath, Thrissur
there is no relationship between masturbation and hairfalling. but it is a habit which should be kept with in limits. Hair falling has multiple causes like hormonal, deficiencies of vitamins and minerals, hereditory etc and if ethical treatment is your option the cause should be identified and treated. and as we know the impaired immunity is the cause of all diseases treatment should be directed to correct the cause of hairfalling

With all its moisturizing action, aloe vera is one of the most effective skin soothing agents. When you rub the gel over an itchy spot, it helps reduce the skin irritation in that area and provides quick relief from itching. Just break a leaf from the plant, cut it lengthwise using a knife and using a spoon, scoop out the jelly-like substance inside. Apply a little of this gel to the itchy area and leave it on for a few minutes.

When Should You Consider HAIR Transplant Surgery + 4 Myths Busted

FAPS (Cosmetic Surgery)-USA,, M.Ch - Plastic Surgery, MS - General Surgery, MBBS

When Should You Consider HAIR Transplant Surgery + 4 Myths Busted
When should you consider hair transplant surgery + 4 Myths busted

Opting for a hair transplant can be one of the many ways in which you can curb your receding hairline and put an end to baldness. This procedure involves taking hair from areas of the head that have dense hair growth, such as the back of the scalp, and transplanting it to the site where new hair needs to be created.

If you’re a MAN, these points should decide the time for getting a hair transplant surgery:

- You have been losing hair from male pattern baldness( a pattern of hair thinning and hair loss that occurs on the crown area, forming an ‘M’ shape) over years.
- Your hair loss persists despite taking medications to stop it.
- Your hair fall has reached a plateau stage (no growth or loss phase) and has stabilised.
- If you’ve experienced hair loss due to burns, trauma or cosmetic procedures.

If you’re a WOMAN, the right time to opt for a hair transplant procedure is when:
- You have lost hair as a result of burns or trauma.
- Your hair loss has been brought on by cosmetic procedures, like face lifts.
- You have female pattern hair loss.

4 MYTHS associated with hair transplant you shouldn’t believe!

Myth 1: Hair transplant gives you a head full of hair
Fact: This is not the case. Hair transplant only serves to lessen your bald appearance. It is a procedure that works by re-distributing your existing scalp hair in order to advance the front hairline. As a result, you end up looking younger with an appearance of a fuller head of hair.

Myth 2: It can be carried out at any age
Fact: This procedure should be ideally performed when your hairfall has more or less stopped experiencing any change, following a period of activity. Although it’s not easy to define the exact age as to when you would reach the plateau stage, this procedure should be done after 23 years of age.

Myth 3: It does not leave behind any scars
Fact: You can expect minimal scarring in a hair transplant surgery. Of the varied methods employed in hair transplant, it’s the FUE (follicular unit extraction) method that doesn’t leave behind a linear scar, but multiple small dots in the area from where the hair has been taken. They are hardly visible to the naked eye and hence FUE is more popular now-a-days.

Myth 4: It’s a very painful procedure
Fact : Hair transplant is performed under local anaesthesia. The site where follicular units will be harvested is made numb using sedatives and injections of local anaesthetic medicines, so that you don’t feel any pain whatsoever.

Hello, Use the following home remedies: ALOE VERA: To reduce pitta and preserve the health of your hair, drink Aloe Vera juice (⅓ cup preferably with a pinch of cumin) 3 times a day for about 3 months. You can also scrape out the gel from an aloe plant with a spoon, and apply to your hair and scalp (and face too). ONION PASTE: Onion paste helps you cleanse your scalp and increases hair growth. You just need to add onions in the mixer and prepare a paste. Apply the paste on your scalp. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with water. GUAVA LEAVES: Add guava leaves to hot water and boil it for a few minutes till the time the water turns black. Using cotton, apply the solution on your scalp. Repeat this process two to three times in a week. AMLA JUICE: Amla does wonders to the hair and is one of the best cures for baldness. Take equal portions of fresh Amla juice and Lemon juice and apply the mixture on your scalp. Leave it on for 30 minutes and rinse off. COCONUT and ALMOND MILK: Take 5-10 almonds and blend them with appropriate amount of tender coconut malai. Apply this nourishing hair pack to provide Vitamin E and many other nutrients to your hair. HONEY and EGG YOLK: Mix honey and egg yolk together and massage on your scalp for 30 minutes. Egg yolk will help stimulate hair growth. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR: Mix one part of apple cider vinegar in one part of water. Apply the mixture on your scalp, massage gently and leave on for 5 minutes before washing off with a mild cleanser.
