I am 24 years old male, I'm suffering asthma from childhood. Last 6 months back I went to doctor for this he said that there is small sinus problem, for that he gave me a tablet called L HIST MONT (levocetirizine dihydrochloride). While using this tablet I'm not getting any breathing problem but when I stopped this once again breathing problem raises. Is there any permanent solution for asthma in homeopathy/ayurveda.

How can d daily intake of some essential nutrients be met like of zinc d daily intake recommended is 11 mg but its not much in our foods so do everyone has to take a daily multivit to compensate.

Nutritional needs of zinc should be met primarily from foods. If there are symptoms of zinc deficiency, then suppliments can be given. Foods rich in zinc are wheat, oats, pumpkin seeds, eggs, milk, oysters, nuts, meat, and peas.consume them. Common symptoms of zinc deficiency are- Hair loss,frequent infections eg diaarrhoea, spots on nails,oral ulcers,mild anaemia,decreased appetite. Hope this helps u.

My fathers' leg is getting swollen day by day, some times its normal. Did some treatments but no +ve result. Should he have a different diet or a treatment is required?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are multiple causes of swelling in legs, it can be postural which goes away when you elevate your limbs. But othere causes are multiple which have to be ruled out mainly cardiac causes, deranged lft, kft, low protein levels, hypothyroidism, vascular causes besides many. Diet rich in proteins can be tried but my advice will be to get him investigated to find out a cause. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Common causes of tiredness on mild exertion are-- Dehydration ,Low blood sugar,anaemia,diabetes,acute stress,low blood pressure, hyperthyroidism or vitamin b12 deficiency. Get ur BP checked and bl sugar checked too. Drink plenty of liquids to maintain hydration. Eat healthy diet. Avoid stress and tensions. If u r pale and anaemic,get ur CBC done too. Hope this helps u. Sciatica is often distinguished not as a medical condition but as a set of symptoms that underlie a more serious medical concern such as a slipped disc, degeneration of the spine or the lumbar region etc.
It is important to note the symptoms of Sciatica, as these are quite distinct -
1.Constant pain in one of the buttocks or leg (rarely are both legs affected)
2.The pain worsens on sitting
3.The pain is often described as a sharp & searing pain similar to a burning sensation
4.The pain is often accompanied by a heaviness or numbness that makes movement difficult
5.Shifting of postures (sitting to standing and back to sitting) becomes painful and laborious
An alternative to surgery would be to supplement the oral medication with certain specific exercises.
Reflexology, Acupuncture and Chiropractic manipulation are all considered effective to alleviate the pain to a large extent.
Patients are often encouraged to partake in daily exercise routine, incorporating strengthening and stretching exercises.
The strengthening exercises target the core or abdominal muscles along with the back muscles to provide more support to the back.
The stretching exercises will help to “loosen up” the surrounding muscle groups such as the hamstrings, which then allow for more blood and oxygen circulation alleviating the pain and giving the immune system a much needed boost.
When patients engage in a regular programme of gentle stretching and strengthening exercises, they can recover quickly (in comparison to those who do not exercise) from the flare ups and over time the painful episodes are known to reduce significantly, both in frequency as well as intensity.
Ancient holistic practices such Yoga and Tai-chi are often considered the best form of exercises for the afflicted because of the balanced and slow but controlled movements that complement the ‘breath’ rather than causing further exertion to the already fragile bone density.
It is recommended that expert advice be sought and the exercises should be undertaken only under trained supervision. Please do not attempt to “experiment” with Yoga or Tai-Chi on your own, as improper or wrong posture could lead to irreparable damage to the spine.

See a medical specialist. You need to be investigated for the possible underlying cause. Certain medicines also cause this, check with your medicines if you are taking any. Treatment of cause will treat neutrpenia. Till then avoid going to crowded places, if you have to wear masks. Don't interact with infected patients. Don't eat out.

1.Masturbation is a normal way of relieving sexual tension. 2.It is, not harmful if done in moderation, preferably 2-3 times a week. 3.Excess indulgence may cause physical problem like weakness, tiredness, loss of memory, lack of energy, lack of concentration, behavioural disorder, stress, depression, and sexual problem like erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, testicular pain, decrease sperm count. Dear user. Erectile dysfunction can be a sign of a physical or psychological condition. It can cause stress, relationship strain, and low self-confidence. The main symptom is a man's inability to get or keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse. Patients suffering from erectile dysfunction should first be evaluated for any underlying physical and psychological conditions. If treatment of the underlying conditions doesn't help, medications and assistive devices, such as pumps, can be prescribed. Sometimes the foreskin is tight try yo move it back slowly after applying some oil for lubrication if it doesn't help in a few attempts then you will have to get a simple surgery done for it known as circumcision for which you will have to consult a surgeon.

Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem or may be Migraine Headache follow advises given below: You can take(If No drug allergy) : 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error 4.We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis consult physician for further management.
