Sir my wife is pregnant of 8 weeks. Can sex during pregnancy is safe? Or it causes any discomfort to mother & baby She has polycystic ovary Her date of birth is 07-05-1993.

PGD IN ULTRAASONOGRAPHY, Non invasive cardiology course, MD - Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Narnaul
It is completely safe to be having sex at 8 wks. In fact most women have sex for just a darn bout the entire pregnancy. But that is only if there are no problems happening. But as long as you feel ok go for it! Enjoy it while you can as much as you want cuz once the baby comes there will be no sex for at least a month & a half!

To get pregnant you need to have fallopian tubes patent which is checked by hsg test as you had one miscarriage before. Once the above test is normal, then treatment with clomiphene citrate is started with monitoring of egg.

Can nariparikahan in ayurvedic can able detect whether a woman is pregnant or not after missing her periods.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology
Gynaecologist, Mumbai
Can nariparikahan in ayurvedic can able detect whether a woman is pregnant or not after missing her periods.
Only urine pregnancy test is confirmatory which can be done at home with urine. Nariparkshan is examination by ayurvedic docor which is not confirmatory at all. I am closely associated with ayurvedic hospital and doctors as I routinely go there to perform operations. So please do urine test to confirm pregnancy. Two lines is positive.

I don't have child. Married 4 years back. What should i do?

Advanced Aesthetics
Ayurveda,
I don't have child. Married 4 years back. What should i do?
If you and your partner are planning to conceive, you should start taking folic acid before you get pregnant. Folic acid helps to provide the best health outcomes for your baby when it is growing. Taking folic acid daily before and during pregnancy also prevents the occurrence of neural tube defects, such as spina bifida, in your baby. You?re most likely to get pregnant if you have sex within a day or so of ovulation (releasing an egg from the ovary). This is usually about 14 days after the first day of your last period. An egg lives for about 12-24 hours after it?s released. For pregnancy to happen, the egg must be fertilised by a sperm within this time. If you want to get pregnant, having sex every couple of days will mean there?s always sperm waiting in the fallopian tubes to meet the egg when it?s released. any queries consult privately

Dear you must take full diet now onwards.bcoz less intake would result in less output of milk for baby. take fruits n vegetables properly.. Take milk atleast 2 times/day.. you can add few dry fruits.n fat according to your movement or physical activity.

I am getting married soon. It's going to be a first time for both of us. What precautions/preparations/contraceptives should we take for the first time.

F.C.P.S.(Mid. & Gynae), MBBS
Gynaecologist, Mumbai
Congratulations on your marriage. It is not imperative to have sex on the first night. Choice of contraceptive depends on the interval you want to avoid pregnancy, what options you both are comfortable. If possible visit a gynecologist to understand what options are good for you.

Hello, ideally in a 28-30 days cycle, the lady ovulates by day 14-16 of her cycle so in your case it would be 11th -13th feb. The more the frequency of intercourse, the higher are the chances of pregnancy.

Regular Aspirin use may reduce Cancer Risk

A new study suggests that regular usage of aspirin is likely to reduce the overall risks of cancer a reduction that primarily reflects a lower risk of colorectal cancer and other tumors of the gastrointestinal tracts

And it also tells patients should be well informed about the potential side effects of regular aspirin treatment and continue their regular screening tests but aspirin should not be viewed as a substitute for colonoscopy or other cancer screening tests.
