Big and cystic acne lesions some times require drainage and intra lesional injections of steroid and antibiotics. Then a long course of systemic retinoids is helpful. good luck.

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. A NIGHT FALL / NOCTURNAL EMISSION / WET DREAM or involuntary leakage is an involuntary ejaculation of semen that occurs during sleep or along with urine while urination. Studies show that approximately 83% of men experience a nocturnal emission or leakage at some point in their lives. There is nothing wrong with a person if he or she experiences a nocturnal orgasm or nocturnal emission or leakage, as they are normal and healthy experiences. If you have experienced a wet dream, you should not feel ashamed. I suggest counseling and sex therapy. Take care.

I'm 28 year old. My bilirubin is always higher than normal values. Doctor telling Gilbert syndrome. What it is.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
Gilbert’s syndrome is a common and harmless condition, where high levels of a substance called bilirubin build up in the blood. Bilirubin is a yellow pigment found naturally in the blood, which forms when red blood cells are broken down. Symptoms of Gilbert's syndrome Most people with Gilbert's syndrome will experience occasional and short-lived episodes of jaundice. This is when the skin and whites of the eyes turn slightly yellow. Some people also report other problems during episodes of jaundice, including: abdominal (tummy) pain feeling very tired (fatigue) loss of appetite feeling sick dizziness irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) – a common condition that causes stomach cramps, bloating, diarrhoea and constipation problems concentrating and thinking clearly (brain fog) a general sense of feeling unwell However, these problems are not thought to be directly related to increased bilirubin levels, and could mean you have another condition other than Gilbert’s syndrome. Around one in three people with Gilbert’s syndrome experience no noticeable symptoms, and you may not realise you have it until tests for an unrelated condition are carried out.

What if I masturbate daily. It will effect to mu stamina or what. Because my stamina getting low day by day.

BHMS
Homeopath,
Dear lybrate user, sperms are continously produced in the testis. A single sperm cell needs about 4 months to mature before it is being ejaculated. By masturbating daily you are ejaculating a lots of unmatured sperms. This loss of count of sperm results in increased production of sperm. Now remember that a sperm cell is mainly made of protein. So more production of sperm needs more supply of protein. This increased demand of protein is supplied from the food we eat. Masturbating daily increase the sperm production to such an extent that more protein is used to produce sperm compared to the amount of protein needed for muscle build-up. This will eventually lead to the decrease of protein content in your muscles. Loss of protein in muscles is externally manifested as loss of stamina. You should not masturbate for more than twice in a week. Daily masturbation indicates that you are addicted to masturbation & you are always thinking sexual thoughts. Take homoeopathic mother tincture origanum q, 10 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water. This medicine will help you to control your excessive sexual desire.

Hii, I am Siddhesh 27 years of age. I suffered from pulmonary embolism recently. I recently had color doppler test which clarifies that I do not have dvt in my legs. I have varicose veins in my legs and one of my doctor suggested to have operation for varicose. 1) I just wanted to know whether its necessary to have the operation done 2) what are the chances of further getting dvt or pulmonary embolism 3) What sort of precautions should I take for not getting dvt again. 4)Can varicose veins leads to dvt. 5) now it has been 4 months so can I resume gym and sports related activities. Thankyou.

PGD Maternal Child Health, MBBS
General Physician, Akola
Vaicose veins may get thrombosed but the possibility of a thrombus getting dislodged from the wall is far less as compared to deep vein thrombosis. As the doppler has not shown any evidence of dvt in deep veins of legs, the basic question remains, that wherfrom the thrombus got away to cause pulmonary embolism. Fortunately nothing untoward occurred but presuming it was from saphenious vein, precautions are essential. Avoid long immobilization of limbs, squeezing pressure on calves, very heavy exercises to leg muscles etc. Monitor your bleeding time, clotting time, prothrombin time and inr at regular intervals. As for getting operated, the decision is risk oriented. If there had been direct evidence of some clot in leg veins, it would have been strongly indicated. You may need to continue with low dose anticoagulants for some period.
