Keep giving home made fluids like milk, butter milk, coconut water, shikanji, plus normal solid food such as banana, curd, bread, khichari itc. If stool frequency is very high, see a pediatrician. He may look if child is well hydrated or not.

Take curry leaves soup daily twice this will helps you keep typhoid away. Start taking more fruits and coconut milk which helps to maintain alkalinity in your body and also reduces typhoid ulcers.

Avoid the stuff from which allergy does happen! thats the only solution. And sometimes inhalers do help to reduce severity related to lungs. You can undergo allergy testing to know exact cause of allergy or allergens we say.

When a breastfed baby has a bowel movement after nearly every feeding during the first few weeks, it's a good sign – it means he's getting plenty of milk. But it's normal for them to poop after every feeding as well.

Ideally a baby should doubles his/her weight by 5 months of age.So see according to her birth weight. If she has drooling then it could be stomatitis or throat infection .

Hello doctors, we're in the process of relocating to different country which is of extreme chill climate upto (-10) degrees. Our current location has about 30 degrees. My query is that, how safe is it for our baby (7 months) in regards to the relocation from current 30 degrees to (-30) degrees. Thanks and appreciate in anticipation.

Its safe for your baby to relocate. No issues untill and unless he /she is suffering from any existing health issues like chest infection or else if you are going to higher altitudes. Prevent him /her from excess cold ,dress well. It will be difficult for the baby to adjust initially and chances of getting cold, cough and others are more. But later baby will adapt to the same. If any existing issues consult a pediatrician before.

Consult your child doctor. Baby of 3 months does urine 7 -8 times a day but potty may be 4-5 times is ok but 8 -9 times is slightly on the higher side. Does he take outside food to eat or is only on mother's milk? If ony on mother's milk, check what you eat. Avoid heavy meals and also avoid heavy dinners. Check with doctor.

Dear mother if your child has blood in motion it is called dysentery for that you have to give her antibiotics and of course ors and zinc are to be given. You can give her injections but if she is not vomiting then medicine can be given by mouth also. But keep on giving ors and zinc and khichri nimbupani and curd.

Worms is generally a family problem though all will not show symptoms. So all family members should be treated at the same time with bandy. Also look for any other source for repeated infection. Keep nails cut properly. Eat only home food as it's more hygienic that any outside food. Wash hands properly before eating. See area around motion area for redness. Treat constipation if any.

Vaccinations for Infants and Children

I am Dr Abhishek Goyal, I am M.D. paediatrics, a child specialist. I am working with my own clinic and a nursing home with the name of Vaishnavi mother and child clinics.
Today I want to tell you regarding the vaccinations. Usually, parents ask me, sir, should we give all the vaccinations to the child, they are very costly. I suggest them this is a thing we should always vaccinate our child with all the vaccinations. As the thing is prevention is always better than cure. And for prevention, the various vaccinations are very important. There are very important vaccinations like in this scenario, we are getting so many patients of chicken pox. And for chicken pox, the vaccination we give to the child is very effective. If the baby is vaccinated, then the baby is at least 90-95% is cured or prevented from chicken pox.

  • Secondly, if they get also chicken pox, it will be very mild. So according to same, there are so many vaccinations today we should give our neonates to the childhood. Like from the starting we should start from the B.C.G., O.P.V and Hepatitis B, which is given at the birth.
  • Then after 1 ½ month, 2 ½ month and 3 ½ months there are 7 diseases from which vaccination can be given that is D.P.T. (diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus). Polio, injectable and oral according to the availability and H.I.P., Influenza-b and rota virus. With that hepatitis b is a very important vaccination also. One category is the meningococcal vaccine which is a very good vaccine for pneumonia.
  • At 9 months, the measles or M.M.R.
  • At 1 year, Hepatitis A for jaundice. For 15 months, we give M.M.R, chicken pox and at the age of 1 ½ years, it is d.p.t. booster and 2 years it is typhoid.

These days, typhoid vaccine has arrived which can be given earlier around 1 year. Same after that we usually forgot, that 4 ½ years is a very important milestone where the baby has to get the vaccinations which are M.M.R, 2, Chicken pox and D.P.T. And in ten years again the D.T. booster and in girls, it is the cervical cancer vaccine. So these all vaccines are there in all the vaccination charts and you should get your child vaccinated from all the deadly diseases.

For any further query, you can always contact me from the very good app called Lybrate app.

I am available on the Lybrate app.

Presuming that your baby is gaining weight adequately I shall not worry about one or two vomits in a day. In case there is no weight gain then further evaluation shall be required.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Start giving him Naturamore Children's Powder 1 spoon daily in morning and evening for 1 month. This will definitely give you results. As the Powder is just a supplement containing proteins, vitamins, minerals and all. You will get result 110%. Just inform me if you are not getting the powder anywhere. Take care. :)

Get stool routine examination done. If there is no blood or mucous, no severe pain in abdomen, no fever then you can wait without any medication but for ors. If she is active passing urine, taking meals nothing to worry.
