Hello lybrate-user, our mind is like a monkey and many thoughts will come which make sense and some don't make sense at all. It is important to train the mind to think rationally, optimistically and healthy so that we can be more productive and peaceful in our life. For this purpose, I suggest that you remember the reality that you didn't come in front of any car and you are safe. Even if you do come in front of the car, you have enough mind to protect yourself by running away or telling the driver to slow down. Which means that you are in control and not helpless. 2. Thus reminding this yourself when ever you think irrationally, will help control the anxiety and fear and replace with positive, confidence and optimistic thoughts and feelings.

To build muscle you need a variety of proteins, veggies, fruits, carbs, and healthy fats. Eating protein helps building & maintaining muscle. But it also helps fat loss: protein has a higher thermic effect than carbs/fats. Foods that could help are: whole eggs, mixed nuts, yogurt, poultry, fish, oats, veggies, fruits and water for example breakfast: eggs with veggies, orange, green tea snack: mixed nuts, pear lunch: fish, yogurt snack: cottage cheese with apple/yogurt post workout: vegetable juice, banana dinner: chicken, vegetable subji, pear pre-bed snack: cottage cheese, berries.

U can take help of a infertility specialist. To my knowledge there is nothing like less egg reserve. You can adopt. That would be the best. As age of wife may not favour a safe pregnancy.

For a healthy lifestyle Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong , chana , Dal , rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit

My daughter is 7 years old and she is constantly suffering from cough since 3 months. All the tests are done and nothing shown as such. We tried homeopathic and ayurveda as well. She gets cough when she go to play more than 4 hours in a day she gets cough if she had any nonveg from hotel or sometimes at home she gets cough if she had any soft drinks or beverages please suggest.

.If you have recurrent attack of cold you may be having sinusitis/allergic rhinitis 1..Take plain xray PNS/CT scan of PNS after consulting ENT specialist to exclude sinusitis and take treatment accordingly 2.. If it is due to allergic rhinitis,do an allergy test after consulting allergy specialist/immunologist to find out the cause of allergy and follow the treatment and advice accordingly

Follow these best tips to make your digestion strong & healthy - *take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. *take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Choose wisely
Be mindful about choosing heart healthy foods; for example:
- plant-based diets low in fat, salt and added sugars
- high fiber and whole grains
- lean protein
- foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids (flaxseed, salmon and other fish, certain oils and nuts)

2. Read food labels
The labels on the side of food and beverage packaging provide a lot of useful information about the nutritional content, including calories, sodium, cholesterol, fat, sugars and key vitamins per serving.

3. Mind your portions
Many of us overeat without really knowing it. Portions at restaurants even the size of bagels, baked goods and other prepared items have steadily gotten bigger over the years. Know how much is too much, and which foods are better to load up on. Some people find it helpful to visually divide their plate and pre-portioning healthy foods for the week.

4. Learn how to cook healthy
How you prep your food is important; try to avoid frying food and substitute unhealthy fats when possible. It's also best to make snacks and meals from scratch and limit processed foods, which often contain hidden sodium and added sugars.

When you do eat out try to reduce your calories, fat and salt by asking for:
- no added butter or salt
- half of the portion to be boxed up before they plate it for you
- the dressing on the side

5. Limit alcohol
Experts advise limiting it to one drink a day for women and two for men.

8. Ask for help
Don't go it alone or attempt to cut out major foods groups or make too many changes at once; your efforts can backfire. Talk with your health care provider or nutritionist about how many calories you should be consuming each day and come up with an eating plan that is realistic and fits your life. Ask your partner or family to help you stick to a healthy diet.


A healthy diet can help you maintain a healthy body weight and control your blood cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar.

Use anti dandruff shampoos twice weekly. Use a multivitamin tab containing Biotin 10mg once daily for a month. If there is still hair fall you will need prescription medicines and lotions to decrease hair fall and regrowth of hair.

You have to get thyroid incontrol as it is high now. Some Bartholin gland cysts go away without treatment. You can take a nonprescription pain medicine such as ibuprofen (Advil or Motrin, for example) to relieve pain. To help healing, soak the area in a shallow, warm bath, or a sitz bath. Don't have sex while a Bartholin cyst is healing. If the cyst is infected, it may break open and start to heal on its own after 3 to 4 days. But if the cyst is painful, your doctor may drain it. You may also need to take antibiotics to treat the infection. To keep the cyst from closing and filling up again, your doctor may put a small drainage tube with a small balloon at one end inside the cyst. The balloon is inflated inside the cyst to keep the cyst open. After the gland has healed, the tube and balloon are removed.

Hello Doctor, I get minor pain in my left testicle. Also its size is smaller than the right one. Since past 4 months I have started morning walk and ab exercise and have observed that right testicle is now much bigger in size but left one is small. I dont get this pain on regular basis and hence have not paid much attention to it. However I think I must seek professional advise now as right side testicle is swollen but left one has no change in size.

Two testes are not of the same size. But if there is striking difference between two testes, you must consult your doctor (as you rightly feel to have professional help). It may be some tumour or collection of fluid (hydrocele).

Hello Vavachi, I am sorry to learn about the hardships you faced in your marriage. You said you have been living separately from your partner for about 1.5 years, now. And that you have a small baby. Does that mean you are living with your parents? I presume most of your time must be spent in taking care of your toddler. Your symptoms are arising out of worry. You must be traumatized because of the past events, you are probably carrying all the unpleasant memories of the past and are also tense about your future. Following are my suggestions to you- 1. Talk to your mother and father about the problems you faced at your husband's place, at length. 2. Take a decision about your future- whether you want to go back to your husband’s home or seek legal separation. 3. Seek counseling from a good Psychological Counselor in your city.
