Gaining weight is as difficult as losing it, if you are naturally thin. Skinny people complain that they can't put on any weight.If you want to build up weight, don't just eat high-calorie junk foods and rely on unnecessary supplements. Choose foods that are energy-dense and nutrient-dense whenever possible. Following are some tips to follow to increase your weight. You will take some time to gain the weight you need, but be patient. 1. If you have a rapid metabolism, then you must increase your daily intake of healthy foods (increase your intake of carbohydrates) to compensate for the rate at which you burn energy. Eat six smaller meals a day You should also eat more energy dense foods like healthy oils, dry fruits, seeds, nuts, pulses, etc. along with some starchy foods like potatoes, cereals, bread, pasta, rice, etc. 2. Consume more calories than you burn. Choose healthy calorie-dense food to add calories. Drink healthy beverages to add calories. Mangoes are rich in calories and carbohydrates, include them in your diet. 3. Eat healthy food frequently, 5-6 times a day - 3 larger meals and 3 smaller meals alternately. Separate them by at least 3 hours so you can digest each meal fully. Don't go without food for 5-6 hours after having a major meal. For example, if you wish to consume 3000 calories a day, you may eat 3 larger meals of about 650 calories and 3 smaller meals of about 450 calories. 4. Have a balanced diet. 5. Exercise regularly for putting on weight. Some thin people think that exercise is not good for them. This is not true, it keeps the metabolism high. Remember that eating alone is not sufficient. You don't want to gain fat but lean mass, so exercise is important. Resistance training exercises will help to increase your muscle mass, which in turn will increase metabolism. Learn to distinguish between weight gaining exercises and weight loss exercises. Note that if you do not get enough amino acids during exercise, the existing muscle may break down. Amino acids come from protein foods so you should eat such foods after exercise. Keep in mind that excessive exercise without putting back the energy you have used will not help you to put on weight.

Wrist is a part of your hands, running requires legs: (no match), I would say that you should run thrice a week, run in comfortable shoes, never on road or hard surface, your knees may face injury, run on grass or a ground, do proper warm up and cool down, followed by stretching of your calves, hamstring, quadriceps & glutes. For better performance keep your mouth shut while running, and breathe only from mouth.

Sir I am suffering from hair fall from around 2 years. My hairs falls more when I wash it. So please kindly tell me what should I do. Tell me about hair wash interval like how many times in a week I should shampoo hair. I use dove shampoo and wash hair in 3 days interval. Before shampoo at last night I massage hair with control plus coconut oil then next morning I wash it by shampoo. So please give me proper suggestions in detail care to stop hair fall. And yes my skin is oily.

1. Take good balance diet having fruits and vegetable, milk, egg. 2. Sulphur may help regrow hair - take garlic 3. Keep head / scalp clean 4. Do dry massage 5. Do regular oiling with coconut oil - apply at night and wash in the morning 5. Treat dandruff with ketoconazol shampoo twice a week 6. If no dandruff try vatika shampoo do for 1 month and report.

I have pnd and acid reflux. I have had throat mucus for a while now! My chest xray came out to be normal. But nowadays I feel tired very easily or slight chest discomfort! My pulmonologist told me that it is a allergy! I just want to know is it normal to feel tired or short of breath sometimes?

Please Don't depend on medicines only Wake up early go for morning walk in greenery daily with relaxed mind Do pranayam and yoga daily Take Take salads and fruits more Avoid oily spicy and fast food Avoid late dinner Take milk regularly Avoid cold drinks ice cream etc for few days Take Swashari quath by Patanjali Prepare and take according to instructions on pack for 7 days Tab yastimadhu by Himalaya 14 1 1 After this course Take Special Chyawanprash by Patanjali regularly 1 tsf twice a day Consult me regularly on Lybrate till you feel better completely.

It is very common in pregnancy to have bad breath as you will have gingivitis because of hormonal changes. You should go for scaling and use mouthwwash containing chlorhexidine.

Weight reduction: regular yoga practices and exercise are vitally important, especially for seniors and long standing obese. But only these two will not lead to weight loss until cut back on sugars and carbohydrates and weight reducing specific diet and herbal supplements. Sugar should be restricted to only five tea spoon=25 gm daily intake and carbohydrates are to be in complex form. If interested for full regimen, inform us.

If you don't wants to start again you take Noni syrup take on first day 5 ml end add normal water full of glass take a sip of it keep few second in mouth end take in in this way consume complite glass after 4 days incrises 5 to 10 ml this 10 ml take for 3 month. After taking syrup take tour food 30minuties letter. Before lynch end dinner if not pissibal dueibg lunch take in night once will also help after 3 month you will forgets drinks you health will also improved. Experimented advice your friends also leave drinks end live healthy.

Coping Statements for Anxiety

It is often possible to manage anxiety by actively replacing irrational thoughts with more balanced and reasonable thoughts like the following:

1. I’m going to be OK. Sometimes my feelings are irrational and false. I’m just going to relax and take things easy. Everything is going to be fine.

2. Anxiety may feel bad but it isn’t dangerous. There’s nothing wrong with me. Everything is going to be OK.

3. Feelings come and feelings go. Right now I feel bad but I know this is only temporary. I’ve done it before so I can do it again.

4. This image in my head isn’t reasonable or rational. I need to change my thinking and focus my attention on something that’s healthier, and generally helps me to feel good about myself. For example _____________.

5. I’ve managed to interrupt and change these thoughts before – so I know I can do it again. The more I practise this, the easier it will become. Anxiety is a habit – and it’s a habit that I can break!

6. So what if I anxious. It’s not the end of the world. It’s not going to kill me. I just need to take a few deep breaths and keep going.

7. Just take the next step. Just do the next thing.

8. Even if I have to put up with a period of anxiety, I’ll be glad that I did, and persevered, and succeeded.

9. I can feel anxious and still do a good job. The more I focus on the task at hand, the more my anxiety will ease, then disappear.

10. Anxiety doesn’t have a hold on me. It’s something I’m working on, and changing over time.

- do not scratch or squeeze the lesions - do not apply creams or oils on face - do not apply hair oils or wash oil within 1 hour of application - take plenty of fluids - wash your face 2-3 times daily especially when it's oily - certain foods can increase acne such as chocolates, oily food etc, avoid these if they increase acne - take plenty of fluids and fruits - dandruff can also increase acne, so use anti-dandruff shampoo if you have acne. - also, for the marks, try to avoid sunexposure as far as possible (use broadspectrum gel based sunscreen, cover the face while outside during sunlight hours)

Hye, Thanks for the query. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.
