I am a Vascular Surgeon and an Endovascular Specialist associated with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. The Vascular system comprises of the blood vessels in the body, which includes the arteries, veins and capillaries. The incidence of diseases related to the Vascular System has been increasing in recent years. These diseases are often ignored due to the lack of awareness regarding vascular diseases. If not treated in time, some of them may become very complicated and even life threatening. Hence, timely detection and management is very important to prevent progression to complications. With the advances in technology over recent years, specially for diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases, most of these problems are completely curable if treated within good time. Our hospital is equipped with all the latest technology and facilities which are required for the diagnosis and expert management of various diseases of the vascular system. I have gained my experience and expertise in managing vascular diseases after working at some of the well known premiere training institutions for vascular surgery in the country, and have earned many happy and satisfied patients in my 10 years journey as a vascular surgeon.

Is there any better medicine for treating varicose veins other than daflon. I had surgery for varicosity 3 years back and now it has recurred. Thnaks.

Daflon is the best medicine. If you are not getting releif with Daflon, a repeat surgery may be needed

How long one should take Clopitab Tablet? Is there any risk if stopped taking this tablet?
Clopitab is an antiplatelet medicine which is usually taken life long for certain conditions. It is prescribed for diseases of the heart, brain and peripheral arteries. Once started, it cannot be stopped without a specialist's advice.

Few months back, i had a vein from shoulder till breast turned black. What can I do to remove it. It's neither itchy nor painful, showed to gynecologist, she told it's due to severe dryness. How can I solved this issue?

If it not causing any major symptoms as pain, itching or redness, no specific treatment is required as such. It will disappear on it's own in due course of time.

I am 18 years old girl. I have slight appearance of varicose veins behind my knees and even in thigh region. I have shown to the nearby doctor but no use. What shall I do to avoid the spreading of varicose veins and How can I get rid of that. Please suggest me some home remedies if it's there.
