All health problems start due to excessive rich food habits. All such problems can be solved if we decide to drastically change our eating habits. PCOS aggravates due to weight and also weight increases due to PCOS. Unless you break this cycle your problems won't end. The only medicine for Weight loss is Simple Diet + Daily exercise. Cut down Oils/Sugar/Maida stuff. Add more fruits /Salads/Proteins to your diet. Eat slowly and mindfully. Exercise daily for 40-60 mins. This is essential for good health. Love yourself and respect your body. Respect laws of nature. This is the best path towards good health and happiness.

First you need health check ups and follow these. Do exercise like yoga, skipping, plank, push ups etc. Eat small amount of food. Avoid fast foods, sugar etc. Use unrefined foods but not much. Use protein foods extra to reduce fat. Take lots of watery fruits, vegetables. Add small amount of healthy fats in cooking. Drink plenty of water specially before meals. Use lukewarm water. Take quality sleep.

Height is usually always dominated by Genetics. How short are your parents? If you are their size or slightly taller then them, chances are you wont grow very much more...There are no amazing magic ways to get taller...Get lots of nutrition and calcium. Get TONS of calcium. Bigger bones means bigger you. Work out and play sports alot. Also greatly emphasize stretching..Posture is also important. Walk as tall and as straight as possible and over time this will add a handful of centimetres to your height...take ashwagandha powder 2-2 tsf twice a day and lakshadi guggul 1-1 tab twice a day with warm water..

Take plenty of oral liquids. High fibre diet like green leafy vegetables, seasonal fruits. If stools are hard and painful stool softeners like Cremaffin plus 2-3 teaspoonful at night. If no relief see a General Surgeon or Proctologist.

The immune systems in your body are always at work trying to fend of many of the attacks that happen on it every day. Although it is able to protect the body most of the time, sometimes it fails in doing so. While medicines can help to restore the balance, it is advisable to include certain food items in your diet, which boost the immune system naturally. Let's take a look at six vegetables which can help your immune system in getting supercharged:

Ginger - This food item is very good in regulating mobility within the gut and regulating bowel movement and is also known to relieve nausea, cramping and bloating. Ginger is also known to have many anti-inflammatory properties as well as being an antioxidant and antimicrobial. All of this makes ginger very good for the immune system.

Wheatgrass - One of the most densely packed green nutritional food ingredients when consumed in the form of a juice, it helps the liver by increasing its ability to flush out toxins. This results in an improved immune system. Wheatgrass is also rich in B complex vitamins, beta carotene, chlorophyll, magnesium, potassium and many other vital nutrients.

Take following homoeo medicines berberus aquifolium q 30 ml sbl or any company 10 drops 3 times per day in water also apply berberis aq oin. Both avaliable in homoeo medical or online. Take full sleep no late night drink planty water eat vegetables fruits wash face with himilaya face wash.

No details about other complaints or medications. In initial stages bed rest, intake of oral liquid and Paracetamol Tablets 500 mg 3 times a day for 2-3 days can be tried. If no relief should see a Physician for proper clinical examination, related investigations, diagnosis and further management.

A diet for a typhoid patient should be one that contains enough high calorie and high protein. This is necessary for the patient to recover quickly. There should also be enough fluids in the diet to keep up the water balance and electrolyte balance in the body. Meals should be easy digestible and not hard on the intestine. As the symptoms subside, semi solid foods can be incorporated into this diet, for instance, custards, porridge, rice with yogurt and so on. Milk, fruit juices and barley are good options as well. The emphasis in this diet should be on raw or lightly cooked vegetables and fresh fruits. The main motive behind a typhoid patient?s diet is to supply proper nutrition, and to balance the water and electrolyte proportion in the patient?s body. Certain foods can cause dietary problems and overwork the already compromised liver in such a patient. Foods that should be avoided while being treated for typhoid include semi cooked pulses, fermented foods. Remember that typhoid causes slight injury to the digestive tract as well. It is advisable to avoid the skins and seeds of fruits and vegetables at this time, for this very reason. Insoluble fibers like these are hard to digest at this time. Ensure that there is plenty of Vitamin A, B and C in the diet as well as these vitamins help the patient recover the loss of vitality during this period.

Hair tips.

1. दही को तांबे के बर्तन से ही इतनी देर रगडे कि वह हरा हो जाए। इसे सिर में लगाने से गंजेपन की जगह बाल उगना शुरू हो जाते हैं।

2. मेथी के बीजों का पेस्ट बालों में लेप करने से बालों का झड़ना बन्द हो जाता है।

3. चुकन्दर के पत्ते का रस सिर में मालिश करने से गंजेपन का रोग मिट जाता है और नये बाल आना शुरू हो जाते हैं।

4. नीम के पत्ते 10 ग्राम तथा बेर के पत्ते 10 ग्राम लेकर दोनों को अच्छी तरह पीसकर इसका उबटन (लेप) तैयार कर लें। इसके बाद इस लेप को सिर पर लगाकर 1 से 2 घण्टे बाद धोने से बाल उग आते हैं। इसका प्रयोग एक महीने तक करने से लाभ मिलता है।

5. उड़द की दाल को उबालकर पीस लें। रात को सोने के समय सिर पर लेप इससे गंजापन धीरे-धीरे दूर हो जाता है और नये बाल आना शुरू हो जाते हैं।

6. सिर में लहसुन का रस लगाने से बाल उग जाते हैं। इसका प्रयोग 60 दिनों तक करने से गंजापन दूर कर सकते हैं।

7. गंज(सिर पर कहीं से बाल उड़ जाने को गंज कहते हैं) वाले भाग पर प्याज का रस रगड़ने से बाल वापस उगने लगते हैं और बाल गिरने रुक जाते हैं। 

8. प्याज के रस में नमक और कालीमिर्च का पाउड़र मिलाकर मालिश करने से सिर की दाद के कारण सिर के उड़ गये बाल फिर से आने लगते हैं।

9. प्याज का रस शहद में मिलाकर गंजेपन की जगह पर लगाने से फिर से बालों का उगना शुरू जाता है।

10. पके केले के गूदे को नींबू के रस में मिलाकर लगाने से गंजेपन का रोग मिट जाता है।

11. हरे धनिया का पानी निकालकर (पत्ते का रस) सिर पर मालिश करने से गंजेपन का रोग मिट जाता है और नये बाल आना शुरू हो जाते हैं।

12. अलसी के तेल में बरगद (वटवृक्ष) के पत्तों को जलाने के बाद उसे पीसकर और छानकर रख लें। इस तेल को सुबह-शाम सिर में लगायें। इसी तरह इसे लगाते रहने से सिर पर फिर से बालों का उगना शुरू हो जाता है।

13. बालों में भाप देने से बाल रेशम की तरह चमकदार और स्वस्थ होते हैं। इससे बालों का झड़ना भी बन्द हो जाता है। 

14. भाप देने के लिए सबसे पहले एक भगोने में गर्म पानी लें और एक तौलिये में इसे भिगोकर हल्का सा निचोड़कर बालों में लपेट लें। ठंड़ा होने पर दूसरे तौलिया को इसी तरह भिगोकर लपेटें। इसी तरह 10 मिनट तक भाप दें। जिस दिन बालों में भाप देनी है उससे एक दिन पहले ही सिर में तेल लगा लें।

15. सूखे आंवले को रात में पानी में भिगोकर रख दें। सुबह इसी पानी से सिर को धोयें। इससे बालों की जड़ें मजबूत हो जाती हैं

Dear sir/madam, for fast few years I am taking anti depression medicines. Which has been prescribed by doctor. I had stop the medicine few months back. But after 2months I used to have body pain. This was sh owned to the md physician. But the medicine was effective for few days and again I had body pain. So now I had again started antidepression medicine now I am feeling ok. Kindly advice who to get ride of the antidepresion medicine. Thanks mahesh.

Hello lybrate-user. It's not cumpolsary that purgative create deficiency. Our diet digest, become stool & clear, due to intestine movement. Long time use of purgative can decrease self movement. Also they don't let diet fully digest. So any deficiency can occur! you can use haritaki or triphala on daily basis.

I am 35 years old and suffering from HypoThyroid for the past 2 years. I have been taking my medication on time. Initially I took Thyromom 25 mg and then 50 mg and now its 75 mg. The numbers have been fluctuating. I have started doing my exercise for the past 6 months. But I am unable to reduce weight. Please let me know how can I go about. Also every three months I do check my TSH levels to monitor the levels. At the moment my TSH levels are 8.75.

Tonsil stones develop in your tonsils due to the accumulation of dead skin cells, bacteria, and food particles that get lodged in the crevices of the tonsils and then the salts from the saliva cause the deposits to calcify. Usually, tonsilloliths, as tonsil stones are also called, are harmless and do not require treatment. However, if you have bad breath or experience pain and discomfort, it is best to consult a doctor. Home remedies: Salt water gargles: You can get relief from the pain and discomfort by gargling with salt water. If you gargle vigorously, you may succeed in dislodging the stones as well. Make the water, lukewarm and add half a teaspoon of salt. Dissolve the salt and gargle with the water. Do not swallow the salt water while gargling. Other treatments available: Laser Tonsil Cryptolysis: This is a noninvasive laser treatment that gets rid of the pockets and crevices where the tonsil stones are lodged. You needn’t worry as it causes minimal pain. Anyway, the doctor will use local anesthesia to ensure you enjoy a pain-free treatment session. The downtime after the treatment is minimal. Coblation Cryptolysis: In this medical procedure, the ENT uses radio waves to change a simple salt solution into charged ions, which adhere to the tonsil tissue and then cut through it. This procedure reduces crevices and pockets on the tonsils and also eliminates tonsil stones. Compared to laser tonsil cryptolysis, coblation cryptolysis does not cause a burning sensation on the tonsils. Antibiotics: Sometimes, the ENT specialist may prescribe antibiotics to treat the infection. Usually, this mode of treatment gets rid of bacteria, which healthcare professionals believe have a major role in the formation and growth of tonsil stones. Tonsillectomy: Your doctor will never recommend tonsillectomy as a method to treat tonsil stones. However, when all other treatment procedures fail to get rid of the severe symptoms that you are experiencing, the ENT specialist will have no other alternative but to surgically remove your tonsils. This removal can be done with the help of a scalpel or laser. Sometimes, even a coblation medical device can be used.

Make a paste out of all of cucumbers and tomatoes and apply as a face mask. Leave it on for half an hour and wash it with some cool water. Follow this method two days at a time every week and observe the results.
