Needn't worry, just relax.

At natal wise learn to relax and stretch with trimester appropriate exercises which will help you cope with ever-growing body with baby in your womb.
Pre-natal exercises are an important aspect of your months of pregnancy.

Pregnant and active! well why not?
=pre-natal stretching helps you ease your stiff joints and muscles (esp. Abdomninal muscles to accommodate to your growing baby) and also any aches and pains that are common on the joints and ligaments.
=exercises will strengthen your joints
=stretches with breathing techniques helps in increasing the oxygen level to the baby and also increases the blood circulation to all parts of the body.
=helps you sleep better
=regular 1 hour of exercises helps ward off gestational diabetes, high blood pressure and keeps all your stats in control.
= helps you re-gain your pre-pregnancy shape.
=makes you feel good and helps in keeping the skin glowing with blood circulation.

Imp: during pregnancy do not exercise on your own by watching dvds or you-tube, always exercise under a supervision of a certified child-birth educator who can guide you the right kind of exercise fort each individual specification.

The values mentioned are normal but we have to corelate it with symptoms and at which day of the menses the blood sample was taken

You simply refuse to breast feed and when the child feels hungry you feed from a cup with spoon or a sipper but do not use nipple and bottle. You can pit a bana aid on nipple and she will refuse to suck seeing the difference from normal nipple

At the clinic we answer questions all the time about irregular periods. A textbook period happens every 24-29 days, but in truth what is “regular” covers a wide range. Cycles between 23-35 days are very common. A woman may get her period only one to four times a year. Or she might have periods that occur 2-3 times in a month and involve spotting or extremely heavy flow. Alternatively, she may have heavy episodes of bleeding every 2-3 months. Irregular periods are simply what is irregular for you. • Significant weight gain or loss • Overexercise • Poor nutrition (or a diet too high in carbohydrates) • Smoking • Drug use • Caffeine • Excessive alcohol use (interfering with how the liver metabolizes estrogen and progesterone) • Eating disorders • Increased stress • Polycystic ovarian syndrome/Estrogen dominance • Uterine abnormalities (fibroids/cysts/polyps/endometriosis) • Hormonal imbalances related to perimenopause Home remedies Sesame Seeds and Jaggery Sesame seeds are useful in regulating menstrual cycles as they help balance your hormones. They are loaded with lignans that help bind excess hormones. Plus, they contain essential fatty acids that promote optimal hormone production. Jaggery, too, helps regulate menstrual cycles due to its warming effects. 1.Dry roast a handful of sesame seeds. 2.Grind them along with one teaspoon of jaggery into a fine powder. 3.Take one teaspoon of this powder daily on an empty stomach in the luteal phase, or second half of your menstrual cycle (two weeks before your period starts), for a few months. Simply eating a piece of jaggery, also known as gur, will also help regulate menstruation. Note: Do not use this remedy during your periods.

Hi I had taken mifepristone tab on thursday that is on 29.12.2016 and I did not take misoprostol on 31.12.16 and I got heavy bleeding on 1.01.2017 evening. Is it ok if I take misoprostol now? How heavy bleeding with clots can occur wen I din take misoprostol?

You are definitely late for taking misoprostol tab. Still insert the 4 tab of misoprostol vaginally today. You may have excessive pain in lower abdomen and excessive bleeding p/v. But it is important to expel all the products from the uterus. You are likely to bleed for 7-10 days. You must get an ultrasound of pelvis done after 2 weeks to rule out any retained products of conception.

This is extremely bad for female genital health. If you do not want a pregnancy in nesr future take low dose oral contraceptive pills or get Multiload/ copper T inserted please. Gdtting abortions done in regular intervals is no option really

  3. Fats from good sources are beneficial for weight gain in case of an underweight person.

The chance of pregnancy is low, depending on the timing of period, when intercourse happened. To be on the safe side, it's better to take emergency pills. But try to avoid regular intake of such pills.

Hello,A pregnant woman should take utmost caution of what she eats. A nutritious diet rich in proteins, iron, calcium and omega 3 fatty acids is recommended. Overall besides normal food make sure she takes a big glass of milk daily, 2-3 eggs in a week, chicken/ fish twice a week, take 2 helping of fruits and salads daily. Taking 5-6 almonds alone a piece or two of walnuts daily should overall take care of your nutritional requirements. Hope this helps you.

1. Myth: I need a referral to see a physical therapist.
Fact: There is no need to get a Physician’s referral to work with qualified experienced Physiotherapists. They are trained to do the evaluation and treatment planning.
2. Myth: Physical therapy is painful.
Fact: Physical therapists seek to minimize your pain and discomfort—including chronic or long-term pain. They work within your pain threshold to help you heal, and restore movement and function.
3. Myth: Physical therapy is only for injuries and accidents.
Fact: Physical therapists do a lot more than just stretch or strengthen weak muscles after an injury or surgery. They are skilled at evaluating and diagnosing potential problems before they lead to more serious injuries or disabling conditions—from carpal tunnel syndrome and frozen shoulder, to chronic headaches and lower back pain, to name a few.
4. Myth: Any health care professional can perform physical therapy.
Fact: Only qualified Physiotherapist from a recognized college who has done 41/2 years degree course are eligible to do the evaluation and treatment.
5. Myth: Surgery is my only option.

It depends on whether there are any complications in this pregnancy like low lying placenta, big baby, pre-eclampsia etc ; and also what you want and what advice your doctor has given you. In a low risk pregnancy you have the best chance of having a succesful normal delivery if you go into labour yourself.

Hello, your pregnancy test is positive. If you don't ever want a baby, you can go for termination of pregnancy. But if you want a baby later, let the pregnancy continue as you are already 32 years old. Conception may be difficult with more chances of fetal malformations with increasing age of the lady. Decide with a positive mind.

Hello- White discharge/leucorrhoea is known as Shweta pradar in ayurveda and the major cause of it is mal nourishment of the body. You have to take proper care of your diet and your sleep to avoid discharge. 1) Avoid spicy diet and increase dairy products in your meals. 2) Take a sound sleep of at least 9-10 hour a day. 3) Use Shesham tree leave bark powder and use it 1/2 tsp twice. 4) Wash your vagina with alum (Fitkari) water daily.
