I want to loose 5 kgs first what can I do as I don't get time for my busy schedule? Provide a diet plan.
You can lose 4 - 6 kg weight every month with our customized daily diet plans. You can consult us via a private chat on Lybrate as we need to understand your food habits, lifestyle, blood group and medical history (if any). In general, few tips for weight loss include: Have small and frequent meals instead of 3 main meals in a day. Avoid sweets and sugar based foods, fried foods and heavy dinners. Include 2 - 3 servings of fruits and vegetables. Go for atleast 30 - 40 min of brisk walks / jogging every day. Have a light and early diner (by 8 Pm) and no salt intake after 8-8: 30 pm. Have a diet rich in protein and fiber.

Hi, What are the symptoms for sciatica neuralgia. How is it caused and what's the treatment.
Sciatica is a term used for radicular pain, i.e. Radiating pain from the back to the foot. It's often associated with tinging, numbness and mild weakness of leg muscles. It could be caused due to various reasons such as degenerative disc disease, disc bulge, disc herniating, fractures of the spine, tumors etc. Treatment depends on the cause of sciatica. Often times, surgery is not necessary and symptoms improve with physiotherapy, back braces, medications etc, although it takes time (a couple of months).

Hello. I am Himanshu & I am 17 years old. My problem is that I am underweight or skinny (skeleton) guy. I love to eat I eat daily 3 meals but food doesn't absorb in body. I haven't necessary fat. I also started exercise but nothing seems good. I think I have poor digestive system and I do not know whether it's right or wrong. Is this genetically problem because my father is also underweight in youth stage I had seen old pictures of my father. Please tell me what should I do to gain weight. Heavy Menstrual Bleeding & Its Causes

Heavy menstrual bleeding, technically called menorrhagia, is one of the most common types of abnormal bleeding from the uterus.

Here are all the possible causes of heavy menstrual bleeding:

  1. Fibroids - Fibroids most commonly occur around the age when women can get pregnant. Uterine fibroids are noncancerous growth on the uterus.
  2. Blood thinners - These are medicines, which are usually anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
  3. Problems with iud - A non-hormonal intrauterine device is a t-shaped device used for birth control which is inserted into the uterus.
  4. Hormonal imbalance - Estrogen and progesterone levels are the primary control mechanism for periods. If the ovaries have a problem in functioning, hormonal imbalances may occur. Heavy menstrual bleeding is most common in females who are at the start of menopause. Puberty menorrhagia can occur in adolescents who are experiencing their first menstrual period.
  5. Adenomyosis - This is a condition in which the muscular wall of the uterus also gets the lining of the uterus intermingled with it. However, this condition is rare and only happens in middle aged women with several children.
  6. PID - PID stands for pelvic inflammatory disease and refers to any infection within the organs of the reproductive system.
  7. Cancer - Uterine, ovarian and cervical cancer are just some of the cancers, which may cause heavy menstrual bleeding.
  8. Ectopic pregnancy - An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilized egg stays in the fallopian tube, but does not reach the uterus. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a gynaecologist and ask a free question.

I regularly take normal foods with normal amount and eat everything. But still i'm too much thin and low weight also do freehand exercises. My weight is 40 kg and age is 19, height 5'4"

Healthy balanced diet along with healthy life style and proper rest are the keys of good health. You need counselling by dietitian so that specific changes will be incorporated in your schedule. Some tips for you- Start eating small frequent energy dense meals instead of 3 large meal. Small meals are easy to digest and keep digestive system running. You can eat small portion of any thing in difference of 2-3 hours like 1 small stuffed paranthas with curd\ whole eggs\spoon full of desi ghee in dal or with roti, paneer, nuts, sprouts, pulses, chicken etc have shakes of fruits with added nuts drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water. Eat all seasonal fruits and vegetables. Quit smoking or drinking if any Manage stress do some moderate intensity exercises for 30 minutes daily. Have positive body image appreciate your self Take sound sleep of 7-9 hour keep your self motivated as it not going to happen overnight. Consult me privately for customized diet plan.

I would recommend you a easy diet plan, along with gym workout, it will help you to gain weight. No needs to take any supplement. 1. MORNING: banana shake (2 bananas and 1 glass of milk) sprouts Brown Bread with 2 eggs Or paneer stuffed paratha 2. LUNCH: 1 soup bowl of dal 1 small size bowl of green veg 1 small plate of rice 3 to 4 phulka paneer 100 to 150 gm in day time 3. LATE AFTERNOON: 1 fruit and coffee with 4 cookies 4. DINNER: 1 soup bowl of dal 1 small size of bowl green veg 3 to 4 phulka paneer 100 to 150 gm 5. LATE NIGHT: 1 glass of milk improve your water intake.
