I was a NHL patient I regression for the last 6yrs. I went through chemo treatment. For last one year I have developed tendency to fall i.e. losing balance. Of late difficulty in talking(expressing myself)and difficulty climbing steps and loss of strength. I am male 72yrs.Ifell 80 or 90 yrs. age. What is the problem? Is it curable?.

I am 23 years old male, I am a medical student Sir my mind is foggy, I am not able to think clearly ,I am very forgetful, I sleep more during daytime, I cannot grasp things quickly, it takes a lot of time, my problem started 4 years ago after I drunk whiskey for the first time in my life, from then onwards my mind was foggy and slowed down, my academics started to suffer ,I started skipping work, studies ,i have taken lot of antidepressants from time to time but it doesn't help, I cannot concentrate on books, I am very confused, I am less attentive to things going around, I find difficulty in driving car, it takes lot of mental effort, I have social phobia, I fear going out of home, I like to do everything at home. From last 4 years I have felt the same ,my mental ability doesn't improve anytime during these 4 years, I am worried if I have developed permanent mental disability or dementia like thing, one more thing when I go to a place I cannot think of routes which I have to take to reach that place For example I have to go to my friends house which is far away, I forget or I am just confused about how to go there ,my mind cannot make up the whole route which I have to take to reach that place, but finally I get there, but it takes lot of mental effort, Another thing which I want to tell you is whenever I watch a movie, I cannot comprehend it fully, I take more time in understanding the concept of movie .my thinking ability has slowed down. Hi there ~ Thank you for the detailed description of your problems. It certainly is a fact that many students react to stress the way that you are reacting if the work they have on hand is more than what one can handle. Everyone is different and so are you. It seems like you continue to point fingers at the first drink of alcohol that you had to have been the source of your problems. I strongly believe that you are not probably right in saying so about yourself. I can suggest many techniques for you to be able to perform better, however I also believe that medication management is what you need to deal with your problem of poor concentration. teeth sensitivity is a result of loss of outer most layer(enamel) of teeth..that can be due to : - Tooth grinding - Acidic beverages (such as soda) that cause enamel erosion and dentin exposure. - Brushing with a very abrasive toothpaste, brushing incorrectly and/or brushing more than three times a day could result in a loss of enamel. - A chipped or fractured tooth may expose the dentin.  here are few steps to avoid sensitivity of teeth: - Practice good oral hygiene. - Use a sensitivity toothpaste like Sensodyne. - Don't brush too hard. - Use a softer toothbrush. - Take care while consuming acidic foods. - Use fluoridated dental products. - Avoid grinding your teeth. - See your dentist regularly for professional tooth cleaning, dental care recommendations and advice on treating your sensitive teeth.

Gynaecology Endoscopy - Things that You Should be Aware of

Gynaecological endoscopy is a surgical practice that aids in diagnosing the most common female disorders, such as minute vaginal haemorrhages, infertility problems and endometrial polyps (noncancerous growths on the inner uterine wall). It uses a small and slender optical device to diagnose such problems.

Gynaecological endoscopy is of two types

  1. Hysteroscopy: A small optical instrument is inserted at the neck of the uterus; it is used to examine the inside of the uterine cavity, and in some cases, is used to remove endometrial polyps.
  2. Laparoscopy: It is done through a small incision on the belly to examine the Fallopian tubes, the ovaries and the uterus; it is minimally invasive.

Gynaecological endoscopy has the following advantages

  1. Recovery time is minimised
  2. Lesser risks of infections, or other side-effects

Preparation
You do not need to do a lot to prepare for endoscopy. Here are the few things you have to go through before this surgery is conducted:

  1. The preparation depends on the kind of surgery to be done. You might require imaging tests. Also, the doctor may recommend an enema or even fasting.
  2. You need to inform your doctor about any medication you are taking, including supplements or non-prescription drugs. Stop taking your medications before the procedure.

Procedure followed

  1. The surgery is mostly done under general anaesthesia.
  2. A catheter (a small tube) is inserted to collect urine and carbon dioxide is used to fill your abdomen once you are asleep. The gas keeps your organs safe by keeping the abdominal wall away from them. This reduces the dangers of injury.
  3. A small incision in your navel will allow the surgeon to insert the endoscope. The endoscope relays images on a screen, giving a clear image of your organs to your doctor. Consult a gynaecologist online.

Dark spots can be removed with regular use of kojic acid based cream. Make sure to use sunscreen daily in the morning and use kojic acid cream only before bedtime.

You are having premature ejaculation. There are many reasons for bad breath besides oral hygiene. Which have to be ruled out. Other commin reasons may be. - dry mouth ie decreased flow of saliva. As saliva removes odor causing particles besides helping in digestion. Dry mouth can be due to some use of medication, breathing through mouth or salivary gland problems. Etc - use of tobacco products - medical disorders. Eg. Chronic sinusitis, respiratory tract infections, diabetes, liver or kidney disease, lactose intolerance etc. Natural bad breath remedies include chewing on mint or parsley. Drinking lots of water in case of dry mouth which you are already practicing. Chewing on sugarless gum or sucking on sugarfree candy to stimulate production of saliva. So my advice is to first rule out the cause for bad breath and go for treatment accordingly.

What should be the symptoms to avoid diabetes and please explain the precautions for diabetes.
Individuals can experience different signs and symptoms of diabetes, and sometimes there may be no signs. Some of the signs commonly experienced include: Frequent urination Excessive thirst Increased hunger-even though you are eating Weight loss - even though you are eating more Tiredness Lack of interest and concentration A tingling sensation or numbness or persistant pain in the hands or feet Blurred vision Frequent infections Slow-healing wounds Vomiting and stomach pain (often mistaken as the flu) Extreme fatigue Early detection and treatment of diabetes can decrease the risk of developing the complications of diabetes.Following are the tips to prevent onset/or control diabetes 1-Control Diabetes by Losing Weight:-The most significant thing which can make a big difference to your health is to lose your extra weight.This will not only lower your blood pressure but also helps lowering your cholesterol too. For woman:waist of 80 cm or more & for man:waist of 90 cm or more are at risk 2- Constant and regular food timings :-the timings at which you have your meals should be set fixed and at regular intervals each day. Add whole grain foods in your diet.Avoid carbohydrates like white bread, pasta, pizza , candies, and snacks.Instead include high-fiber carbohydrates like wheat bran,flaxseed and methi seeds to your wheatflour.This will increase fibre in your diet. 10-Drink enough fluids:-Keep your body well hydrated.Drink a lot of water that will help flush the toxins off your system. 11.Fresh vegetables and fruits:- gives essential benefits as these contain a lot of vital minerals as well as nutrients .Include sprouts in the diet as they are easily digestible and a rich source of nutrients. 12- Avoid excess salt:-in form of pickles/papads etc..just 1 tsp(5 gm)is sufficient for a healthy diabetic hypertensive individual. 13-Avoid alcohol consumption:-Alcohols such as beer and wine contains large amount of calories .choose sugar-free drink. 14- dairy products :-Dairy products are high on fat content such as cheese, curd, milk etc.So instead consume skimmed milk products , low fat cheese, yogurt (curd) etc.Do not have more than two cups of tea or coffee every day.Try green tea instead.

You may colour them with dyes. You may prevent further graying of hair by taking high protein diet rich in vitamins. The premature graying problem is largely genetic. Hair follicles contain pigment cells that produce melanin, which gives your tresses their color. When your body stops generating melanin, hair presents itself as gray, white, or silver. Many herbal and homeopathic preparations are sold online and at chemist shops for premature graying of hair but all they are futile just taking money for selling hopes. Many home remedies are mentioned at various websites, but the results are poor. Loaded with antioxidants and caffeine, black tea stimulates hair growth and improves strength and elasticity of the hair strands to prevent brittleness and breakage of hair. It adds a natural dark hue to hair and adds a natural shine to it. Black Tea Massage Ingredients: Black Tea Powder – 2 tablespoons Salt – 1 Teaspoon Boil 2 tablespoons of black tea and 1 teaspoon of salt in water for 2 minutes and remove from flame. Let it cool and strain the liquid. Wash your hair with this liquid and let it dry, don’t rinse with shampoo. Repeat it 2 to 3 times per week for best results.
