Hi Aticchanda... Sensitivity if teeth does not always require RCT...only if there is caries. Try doing this first... Massage your gums with a mixture of turmeric and salt twice daily Use homoeopathic toothpaste heklalava by wheezal. And you may consult for homoeopathic treatment proper.

I want to fix my gap teeth [ upper teeth] and its non extraction case. Kindly, let me know the average cost of:ceramic braces in hyderabad dental clinics. Is ceramic braces gives permanent result. Basically I want cheap & good quality clinic. My budget for ceramic braces is: 20,000 INR.

Dentist,

That's is no way you can get any braces for this estimate. Forget ceramic. You can't decide the cost of treatment on your own. The cheaper solution to your problem will be composite built up of your centre teeth which will cost you way less than told estimate.

I am aged 23 (F) and having severe ulcers in my tongue which don't seem to go even after applying smile on them regularly and having Vitamin B12 capsules daily since last 10-15 days. Please advise. Thanks.

BDS, MDS
Dentist, Jaipur
First thing we need to notice the reason behind these ulcers. In most of the cases it heals by vitamin b complex. Not just vitamin b 12. If not responding after that there must be a local reason like sharp edges or rough surface of tooth. Which inturn not sllowing ulcers to heal. Reduce amount of stress if any, take plenty of water.

I am 46 years old and having some issue with my breath. I brush my teeth every day but still having some bad breath all the day. Changing my tooth paste every time. Brush my teeth every nite before go to bed but still this issue. I smoke regularly, due to this issue I am not able to speak with my clients. Please suggest and help me.

Certified BPS Dentist, Certified Implantologist, BDS
Dentist, Raipur
Sir you have answer in your question itself. You need to quit smoking as smoking can cause severe halitosis. Smoke deposits on teeth can lead to periodontitis which needs to be evaluated by the dentist. Apart from that do visit your dentist for routine cleaning and clinical assessment of your gums.

Diagnosis of Gingivitis

Diagnosis of Gingivitis is based on signs and symptoms you describe and an examination of your teeth, gums, mouth and tongue.

Precautions & Prevention of Gingivitis

Brush your teeth at least twice a day
Floss at least once a day
Use an antiseptic mouthwash
Use a soft toothbrush and replace it at least every three to four months.

See your dentist or dental hygienist regularly for professional cleanings, usually every six to 12 months

Brushing twice a day is ok but are you doing it the right way is more important. The technique is more important. Learn the right method by visiting the dentist. Take care god bless.
