How to maintain Vaginal hygiene?
Hello I am anuradha from dr amar colony market today we are going to discuss about the vaginal and the genital hygiene. As now days vaginal and urinary infections are very very common, so first of all I will tell about how to wash the vaginal area. Vaginal area should be cleaned once in a day during bathing not so frequently, so we should wash the area with soap . Whatever we are using only once and should be gently rubbed and not harshly rubbed again and again. And we should avoid the soap or whatever we are using inside the vagina it should be applied only outside and specially we should take care that we are washing this area after urinating or bathing from front to behind we should never use a jet or whatever water we are using from anus to the front.
As there are different bacteria in both the areas which can cause infection. And after cleaning this area you should pat dry the area completely to avoid infection. the vagina has normal healthy bacteria which may be disrupted by these things by washing so frequently or by using so much soap, it gets disrupted which can allow the infectious bacteria to grow there . so you should avoid these things to maintain the vaginal and genital hygiene also you should take care that you are drinking lots of water during whole day as now a days there are many chances of urinary infection about wearing clothes you should , preferably wear cotton undergarments specially white in color so that you should come to know that it is clean or not, and you should avoid tight clothes and clothes which are made of nylon or synthetic cloths.
You should change these clothing frequently if you doing any strenuous exercise or after any stannous work you should change the clothing as it causes sweat and infection. during menses we should take care that it is cleaned frequently and you should change the pads frequently as it causes infection and better to avoid tampons which is inserted may hygienically or unhygenicaly it may cause infection , so its better not to use tampons and use pads which should be changed frequently .

Hello. I am 24. I had scanty but regular periods for the last 9 months. I went to a gyno this month and she said I have pcos and the main treatment is change of life style and shedding 5 kgs since m overweight by 5 kgs. She said if I want to I can take primolut-N tablet for 3 days 3 times to induce periods. I took the 1st pill on 10th Sept after lunch. Then 3 tablets after breakfast lunch and dinner on 11th and 12th. And today on 13th I skipped breakfast so I 'll be taking the last pill after my lunch. All though I have started to get that smelly discharge I get just before my period and mild cramp. Ideally by when should my period start after taking the tablet? Also is this a safe tablet?
