On average, hair grows about a half an inch per month. Hair growth usually depends on number of factors like ageing, improper diet, stress, improper haicare etc. To make your hair grow faster following some simple trics can make a big difference like massaging of your scalp, eating food rich in vit B and antioxidants like milk ,cheese, curd, fresh fruits, fish ,dryfruits, reducing stress by performing yoga and meditation. Vitiligo or White Patches - Homeopathic Remedies for it!

Vitiligo or White Patches - Homeopathic Remedies for it!

Vitiligo or White patches is medically referred as Leucoderma. It is a disease that causes loss of skin colour resulting in white patches. It can affect the skin on any part of the human body. It occurs when the melanin-forming cells called melanocytes which produce melanin die or stop functioning. The condition is not life threatening or contagious, but it is stressful and makes one feel bad about oneself.

The main sign of vitiligo is loss of skin pigment which produces light or white patches on skin. The discoloration is first visible on sun exposed areas like the hands, feet, arms, face and lips. It can also be coupled with premature greying of hair below the age of mid-thirties, colour loss of retina and inner lining of the mouth.

Vitiligo has no cure, but homeopathic treatment help to stop or slow the process of colour loss and brings back some colour to skin. The failure of melanocytes can be attributed to disorder in which immune system attacks and destroys them. It can also be triggered by sunburn, stress or exposure to industrial chemicals. People with vitiligo are at risk of Social or psychological distress, loss of hearing, sunburn and skin cancer, inflammation of the iris and dry skin.

Homoeopathic treatment enhances the natural production of pigments and Vitiligo is considered as a manifestation of an inner disturbed state of the body. The patient is analysed on mental, physical and familial attributes. The medication is then based the results. Arsenic Sulph Falvus, Arsenic Album, Baryta Mur and Baryta Carb are known to give good results in Vitiligo. Vitiligo is a chronic disorder and it takes a long time even with the best of the homoeopathic treatment.

  1. Calcarea Carb is prescribed to patients of Vitiligo with milky white spots on skin. It is prescribed to free perspiration over the head, neck and chest and persons with intolerance to cold weather.
  2. Arsenic Album is useful remedy for vitiligo in persons prone to dry, rough skin. The skin complaint coupled with asthma is a strong contender for using homeopathic medicine Arsenic Album.
  3. Sepia is prescribed for vitiligo in persons showing unresponsive attitude towards family and life
  4. Silicea is prescribed for vitiligo in patients with pale and waxy skin, tendency to excessive perspiration. If the main mind symptom are timidity and an under-confident nature, then Silicea is a good choice. It is known to work on patients who seem under-confident, fear public speaking.
  5. Sulphur is considered the best for vitiligo treatment as it goes deep inside the basic root cause to exterminate the disease. The persons requiring homeopathic medicine Sulphur show a mind constantly occupied with various theories and plans due to which they suffer from mental fatigue and absent mindedness.

Fair skin is a myth. Keeping your skin healthy is all that you need. For dry skin you should be drinking lots of water, and keep your skin well hydrated. Sun and pollution tends to make our skin dry and dull. A good sunscreen regularly and a good moisturizer should do the trick. For a more specific guidance you can always consult.

I got a small bump (size of a nickel to quarter) on my outer left thigh in September 2015. Doctor told me it was lipoma and it's more common in people who are over weight. Recently the I found a few more all on my outer right thigh this time. It's not visibly noticeable. You can however feel them if you push two fingers down firmly across my thigh. It's about the same feeling as my lipoma that I got checked out. All of them are painless. Should I assume it's lipoma? Especially since I've gained a lot more weight since then? Or should I consult a doctor in person again?

Hi lybrate-user, Ayurveda can offer a holistic approach to healthy hair by arresting hair loss. Ayurvedic remedies like natural hair care with herbs can boost hair growth. Simple changes in dietary habits can also have a positive effect. Here are some hair care tips as an Ayurvedic solution for hair growth to give you gorgeous, flowing locks. 1. Amla - Since one of the reasons for hair loss could be impurities in your blood, opt for amla or amlaki for its purifying power. Indian gooseberry is power packed with the goodness of Vitamin C among many minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. It prevents grey hair and acts as a conditioner to give you strong and silken strands. Make a potent Ayurvedic treatment for long and strong hair by using amla in a hair pack. Mix together amla powder, fenugreek powder and brahmi powder in a cup of curd. Apply and leave on for an hour or two. Wash it off with a mild shampoo. 2. Neem - Hair loss can occur due to scalp infections and dandruff. Neem has great antibacterial properties which can help reduce this hair loss. Switch out chemical hair washes for this powerful natural alternative. Boil a cup of neem leaves in four cups of water. Strain and cool this mixture. Rinse your hair with this water post-shampoo. This hair loss treatment for men and women will make your scalp flake-free and keep hair fall at bay. You could also do an Ayurvedic head massage (champi) with neem oil. 3. Jojoba Oil - Ayurveda believes that oiling hair regularly can have multiple benefits like: - strengthening hair from the root - deep conditioning your locks - preventing premature graying - relieving stress - regulating sleep cycles Jojoba oil is highly recommended for its ability to nourish the scalp and encourage hair growth. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

You must not take any medicine for acne. In thus teenage it is very common due to harmonal changes. You may apply at present only listerin on the acne area at night for one hour. After that wash your face. Drink plenty of liquids. Avoid, spicy junk food.
