If there is no injury then do heat fermentation twice a day and apply pain relief ointment and do rest avoid long sitting & take physiotherapy treatment.

I am suffering from back pain from two years please help me I am 23 years over come this problem.
1) Do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min., afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) Start natural calcium supplement. 3) Do regular stretching exercise 4) In yoga DO BHUJANGASAN, HALASAN & SURYANAMASKAR. LIFE-STYLE CORRECTION 1) Correct your sitting posture. 2) Take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) Foot should rest to floor easily. 4) Take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) Do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days.

I want to know for my mother, age 55 and having the osteoarthritis. Many docctors suggest for the operation to overcome this problem but she is not prepared for that. Is physiotherapy can help for the osteoarthritis patient?

Yours is a chronic problem. In such muscular pains you need to see for some aggravating factors. After doing some particular things you start feeling pain or it is throughout the day persists. Thorough examination is needed for your condition. As sometimes bad posture leads to tight muscles which later on changes the biomechanics of your joints. Resulting in painful movements. Consult a physiotherapist.

Dear, it is usual to get some pain after gym exercise so apply ice for 20 mins after work out and it should go or reduce but if it persists for a long time then consult your doctor but do not take medication on your own otherwise you may get injury.

Stop gym. for some time. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Back ache can be due to several reasons. It can be muscular, related to disc degeneration or prolapse, joint irritation or nerve pinching. Most common is muscle pain due to tight and weak back and abdominal muscles. Keep a positive attitude, focus more on keeping good posture especially when sitting for long hours, use lumbar support. Take frequent breaks and stretch in between. Try changing sleeping habits. Try hot or cold therapy as tolerated. Wish you speedy recovery.
