There are so many causes of bleeding gums - - brushing too hard - poor oral hygiene. - vitamin deficiency - taking blood thinners or other medications - bleeding or clotting disorders - mouth sores - other medical problems, including diabetes, heart disease, leukemia or scurvy Few advice to stop bleeding gums-- - visit to a dentist for professional cleaning once in a year - use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water to keep the area clean. - Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth.

1. Bite firmly on the gauze pads covering each extraction site for atleast 30 min to help stop the bleeding.
2. Do not rinse vigorously, suck on straws, smoke, drink alcohol or brush teeth next to the extraction site for 48 hours.
3. Do not forget to take the medicines as prescribed by the doctor.

4. If possible chew on the opposite side of your extraction site. Drink lots of liquids and eat soft, nutritious foods. Strictly avoid hard, hot food & drinks for first 24 hours.
5. Avoid excessive mouth opening, yawning, spitting etc
6. If bleeding continues, call your dentist.

Hi, the yellow color of your teeth might be because of stains which can be superficial and deep or even it might be the natural hue of your teeth. If the they stains are superficial they can be removed by a complete scaling procedure. Deeper stains can be removed by bleaching which can also lighten the yellow shade of your teeth to a certain extent.

Sneezing is probably because of allergy. It can be triggered by climate change. It can be controlled by medication. Teeth irritation or sensitivity may be because of cavity. You can get it checked by a dentist.

Hi friends!

This is Dr Premendra Goyal. I am a dentist in Mumbai. We all look towards having wonderful, beautiful, wonderful pleasing smiles. As they say a smile can win thousands of hearts. We all want a beautiful smile. Many at times we end up in situations where we end up gaps wherein its in between our teeth. These gaps maybe between two teeth or between multiple teeth or they maybe scattered throughout your mouth. Today we don’t need to move about with those smiles. If you desire a better smile those gaps can be closed. There are variety of treatment options available by which we can close those gaps. First and foremost bring braces. By braces all your teeth are brought together and those gaps are closed giving you a wonderful smile. Other options are increasing the size of your two teeth and getting those two teeth wider to close the gaps. There are options like porcelain veneers or even caps which can give you a wonderful balanced smile. Today you don’t need to be worried about those gaps. Those gaps which show as black holes with your smile. Ask your dentist how you can close those gaps. And you will find you can , you can get the smile you desire.

For more information please contact us via Lybrate. Thank you.
