When I run always gasping for breath. What should I do for good health ? please tell me suggestion.

Anemia, asthma etc can cause breathlessness. If you are healthy, continued good health comes from good food, ample rest, and happiness. Food: sugar, tobacco and alcohol should be minimum. Try to include all other items, without too many restrictions from fads, beliefs etc Activity: Rest is essential, it helps in healing and rejuvenation of body. Exercise develops muscles and stamina. Do as much exercise as you enjoy, but don't punish your body. Mind: I don't know. Maybe, get involved in things around you, keep trying to do the best in all your activities. Good luck.

Since you have a 30 -32 days of cycle, so your fertile period will be around 10th day of your cycle till 20th day. In this duration there are maximum chances of conception. Also considering your age, get these tests done on day 2 of cycle fsh lh amh tsh prolactin and usg lower abdomen. Since you have pcod also, it may take time in conceiving naturally. Start doing some weight loss exercise if you are overweight, if will enhance your fertility also.

SEE PCOD IS NOT A DISEASE BUT A CHANGE THAT HAS HAPPEND IN YOUR BODY BECAUSE OF DERANGED LIFESTYLE AND STRESS. THERE IS NO ROLE OF DIANE AT THIS AGE. THE MOMENT YOU STOP DIANE YOUR BODY WILL BEHAVE IN THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE. THE TREATEMNT IF ATALL INDICATED WOULD BE AFTER MARRIAGE

Hello sir, I have high head ache and fever. I have pain in all joint for 3 days. What should I do?

AUTLS, CCEDM, MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Faridabad
Hello sir, I have high head ache and fever. I have pain in all joint for 3 days. What should I do?
Fever is not considered medically significant until body temperature is above 100.4 F (38 C). Fever serves as one of the body's natural defences against bacteria and viruses which cannot live at a higher temperatures. Also, the body's defence mechanisms seem to work more efficiently at a higher temperature -Fevers of 104 F (40 C) or higher may be dangerous and demand immediate treatments like: -Acetaminophen (dolo-650 mg) twice or thrice can be used to lower a fever . Aspirin should not be used for fever in children/ adolescents or during a viral illness. -Wear loose fitting clothes and don’t overdress. Overdressing can cause temperature to rise further. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) bathsmay help bring down a fever  -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -A fever can cause severe dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids.. Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami,Amla juice etc.  -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals .avoid outside food -Wash hands frequently with soap and water especially after returning from public places or public transport.  -Further therapy depends on the cause of fever like urinary infection/typhoid or malaria/dengue infection and the accompanying symptoms that need to be investigated and treated accordingly

Dear friends, these days there is a great scare of dengue all over. I wish to share a few things.
1. Once infection occurs, one can get fever within 1- 7 days.
2. Fever, usually high, comes daily for 4-5 days. This time is troublesome due to fever & body aches. At this time, patient should be given lots of fluids, water, juice, cold drinks, tea, milk or soup any thing can be given. Just keep patient well hydrated. One simple way is to see tongue. It should appear wet. Also patient should pass adequate urine. Some people will not be able to drink adequate fluids, due to vomiting, pain abd, or just apathy for any thing orally. If patient can't take enough orally, and his urine output is getting less & lesser, this is an indication that patient should be admitted for intravenous fluids. Pl take him to nearby hospital. One important thing to remember is, the blood test should be done early in the fever, but rather than plt count, at the fever stage we should see hb level. It should be within normal basal limit of that patient.

If you find hb is high, it is a danger sign, even if plt count is normal. Most of people including doctors wait for plt count to fall, & keep waiting, telling patient not to worry as plt count is normal. But this is wrong. Recent rise of hb should not be overlooked. If it is 14 or more, we need to give fluids very rapidly, oral as well as i. V. To bring down hb level to basal level. So do not wait for plt count to fall, take action when hb has gone up, even when plt are in normal range.

Next stage starts when fever becomes normal. At this stage, patient feels better, but plt count is likely to progressively go down. Still, we need not worry due to falling plt count. A count upto 10, 000 is certainly safe, unless patient has active bleeding. There is no role of plt transfusions in a patient, who has no active bleeding. So pl do not insist for plt transfusions in the absence of bleeding.

So friends, let us remember-
1. Once patient has fever, start plenty oral fluids, (appx. 3-4 litres in an adult,& proportionate in children).
2. Give paracetamol for fever. No aspirin/ brufen/ numulid etc.
3. Monitor for breathless during this period, especially when patient does not have fever. If patient complains of breathless ness, when he is afebrile, take him to a doctor. This is important symptom & indicates severe infection, iikely to worsen. Do not overlook breathlessness, especially when patient does not have fever.
4. Once fever settles, this is the time when plt count will fall further. But do not panic, mist pts will recover without complications, just be in touch with a doctor.
5. With best wishes for a dengue free delhi.

I am suffering from dry cough and I tried to many types of syrups. So give me a solution.

Please take Bryonia 200 – once daily for next 3-4 days. Drink plenty of warm fluids. Drinking warm fluids helps to loosen the secretions in your sinuses so that your mucus flows more freely, making you feel better faster. Studies show that drinking warm fluids relieves cold symptoms such as runny nose, cough, sneezing, sore throat, and fatigue. Consult me for homeopathic treatment. Recommend me by clicking on recommend option and leave feedback.
