Hello dear patient. High cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style . Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. garlic,. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

If all the investigations are normal then may be it is due to stress. It is good that you are doing yoga and walking. Definitely it will have positive effect. Eat healthy food items less in salt and oil. Sleep at right time and wake up early in the morning. Avoid stress. Drink two glasses of water empty stomach in the morning. Take homeopathic mother tincture rauwolfia serpentina q, 10 drops in half cup of water twice daily. This medicine will regulate your bp in natural way in some days.

If 6 weeks on ultrasound match with clinical chart based on last period , there is nothing to worry, at 6 weeks we are lucky to see a flicker @99/min. most women do not get to see a heart beat before 6-7 weeks.

How can we avoid heart attack?

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Ayurveda,
How can we avoid heart attack?
80% of premature heart attacks and strokes are preventable. Healthy diet, regular physical activity, and not using tobacco products are the keys to prevention. Eat a healthy diet: a balanced diet is crucial to a healthy heart and circulation system. This should include plenty of fruit and vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish and pulses, and restricted salt, sugar and fat intake. Take regular physical activity: at least 30 minutes of regular physical activity every day helps to maintain cardiovascular fitness; at least 60 minutes on most days helps to maintain healthy weight. Avoid tobacco use: tobacco in every form is very harmful to health - cigarettes, cigars, pipes, or chewable tobacco. Exposure to second-hand tobacco smoke is also dangerous. The risk of heart attack and stroke starts to drop immediately after a person stops using tobacco products, and can drop by as much as half after one year. Check and control your cardiovascular risk: know your blood pressure: high blood pressure usually has no symptoms, but can cause a sudden stroke or heart attack. Have your blood pressure checked. Know your blood sugar: raised blood glucose (diabetes) increases the risk of heart attacks and strokes. If you have diabetes it is very important to control your blood pressure and blood sugar to minimize the risk. Know your blood lipids: raised blood cholesterol and abnormal blood lipids increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes. Blood cholesterol needs to be controlled through a healthy diet and, if necessary, by appropriate medications.

Even though your cholesterol is within normal limits, so if you occasionally want to consume Alcohol you may, but limit it to 30-60 ml and don't make it a routine habit, let it remain occasional. Also don't binge drink. Alcohol can lead to increase in Triglyceride and cholesterol levels, so in case you are taking medication at present and start occasional drinking, then repeat your Lipid profile after 2-3 months, to see if the lipid levels have worsened or if you need any dose change.

It's not that you are not supposed to eat egg yolk. It has got good nutrients in it. The amount of yolk you consume per day matters becoz its a concentrated source of energy. Any extra calories is stored as fat in the body. So,if you are eating 2 to 3 whole eggs without any additional processed foods or meat, then this might not cause you any harm.

High bp is multifactorial. Majority cases cause is unknown or may be familial. However if one has diabetes, obesity, kidney disease, thyroid disease etc chance of having high bp will be high. Most of the cases its due to genetic susceptibility plus poor habits like diet, lack of exercise, smoking etc combined together to cause high bp.
