You can definitely reduce Fat ,Follow this Low calorie, normal protein, vitamins and minerals, low carbohydrate, low fat and liberal fluid, high fibre diet is recommended. 1) There is no other way of reducing weight except by consuming less calories. 2) Deep fried, processed foods, pickles, papads, pastries, biscuits, nuts, chocolates, ice creams, deserts should be completely avoided. 3) During business meetings go for plain rice with thin dals and lots of salads. 4) Dinner should be taken as early as possible 5) Simple sugars, nuts, dry fruits ( except almonds and walnuts) should be restricted. 6) Small frequent meals ( containing high fibre, low fat ,moderate to low carbohydrates , moderate proteins, normal vitamins and minerals)with regular exercise is beneficial. 7) Begin your meal with a big bowl of salad or soups. 8) Drink plenty of water. 9) Do not skip meals 10) Prefer roasted /grilled /steamed/boiled food items. 11) Tea consumption should be reduced . Replace tea with organic green tea. Do not have tea along with any meal. 12) Consumption of full cream milk will increase fat percentage so skimmed milk is a good option. Avoid -Rice, Sugar ,Potato ,Sweets,Beet , Ghee, fried foods,j unkfood ,vada, samosa, bhajji, Banana ,Grapes ,Chickoo,Seetaphal ,Mango Avoid Mutton ,organ meats, egg yolk, buffaloes milk, cheese, paneer ,pizza ,burger,Choclates etc. Have 2-3 Cups of ecovalley green Tea ,it will help reducing Weight & Fat.

Unless you develop complications, you shouldn't need medical treatment. -Complications like infections of the ears, throat, sinuses or lungs must be treated with antibiotics. -Gargle to keep from getting a sore throat. -Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation. -Tablet nasorest-p once/twice daily may ease breathing. -Do steam inhalation once or twice daily -Cough- For dry cough.Take syrup Alex-D for a dry cough.(1 tsp thrice daily) -Productive cough:it brings up mucus from behind the throat or the lungs. These coughs should not be suppressed to the point that they no longer bring up mucus. I am old case of Abdominal TB. Duly treated with ERH for 7 months, till May 2014. Reviewed by the Gastroentrologist in November 2014. But now I have similar kind of cough with reduced appetite. USG - Abdomen of November 2014 was normal. ESR and TSH levels are high for last two years. Not on any medication, now. Kindly advise.

FCCP (USA), MD - Pulmonary Medicine
Pulmonologist, Indore
Thanks for your query. Raised TSH means you have hypothyroidism. Go for full thyroid profile. Get a chest X ray done to have an idea for lung TB and get sputum for AFB. IF it is negative then an antibiotic course will help you. Best wishes

A am suffering dry cough for the last 2 weeks and I have chest pain whenever I cough hard can you suggest what should...
Hi lybrate-user. It is important to find out underlying cause. Causes of cough are many like. Cold, pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis. Whooping cough. Post nasal drip. Allergy. Asthma copd smoking. Laryngitis. Bronchiectasis. Aspirations. Medication like ace inhibitors for bp. Interstitial lung disease. Heart failure. Rarely lung cancer. Cough may be aggravated by breathing cold dry air, air pollution, inhalation of dust and smoke, excessive use of voice. To findout underlying cause sputum culture, ekg, lung function test, xray of chest and sinuses are done. Dry cough may be relieved by 1. Demulcents that treat dry cough by coating and soothing pharynx and relieve irritation that triggers dry cough. Cough syrup containing sucrose and glycerol. 2. Honey with warm water and lemon. 3. Steam inhalation. 4. Gargling with warm salty water. 5. Cough suppressant containing dextromethorpan or codeine or dihydrocodeine. 6. Sucking lozenges. For chest pain you can take pcm and warm compression at pain site.
