Hi doctors. My dog is a labrador. Of 3 years. He is not eating any food. But only some pedigree. He is looking very sad and weak. Do not know why. Help.

Go and consult your nearby vet. If regular deworming is not being done, vet will deworm your dog. Better to go for blood test once. Treatment will go accordingly to blood test report. If its normal, give one appetite stimulant syrup like aptipet or aptiquik or livoferol 10 ml twice a day. Hope positive result will come.

My 7 months old labrador has some problem in his right forelimb (leg. Due to this he feel some pain when he stands up after a long rest. I gave him nimulid for three days. He is okay but when he stands up after sleeping he feel jerk on his leg and after a long walk he starts jerk walking.

Hello, I suggest you get a small blood test done called complete blood count (cbc) and two xrays of the affected leg one from front (ap view) and from side (lateral view). There can be two chances, either bone deformity or blood parasite infection. Both can be treated if diagnosed early as possible. Once done, please share the reports with me to advice you further.

Hey please any doctor help me my dog has eaten a frog and he is vomiting. please suggests me any fast treatment.

MVSc (Ph.D)
Veterinarian,
Dog is carnivores, it eats many kinds of animals, if given to it, but generally, it kills & does not eat. Vomition is an act of getting out the frog from stomach, it is good thing, I have not encountered such situations as like you, in my opinion, it may digest the frog, by its digestive juices, or more prompt, the frog should be removed by laparotomy means by surgical operation, it is done well. Frogs have obnoxious glands on its skin, due to which there will be vomiting,

Is it safe and healthy to feed grains/deep-fried (savyien) to birds, routinely for birds' well-being?

MVSc
Veterinarian,
Don't give fried things to birds. U can give them raw or soaked in water. Rarely you can boil them and give.

A dog licks my dishes I want to know that how I clean that dishes pls provide me guideline as im in a worried situation from when I heard that dogs saliva carries dangerous disease.

MVSc
Veterinarian, Jammu
No doubt dog saliva carries more germs thn those inhabitating human oral cavity or you cn say mouth regrind dish cleaning better use hot water n put your dish in it fr sum time (what should be at boiling) thn use your dish washing soap for cleaing the dishes. Avoid your dog to lick your plates. Alone saliva is nt carrier of dreadly diseases untill bite is involved hope this help.
