I am 19 years old and I am suffering from back pain. I have consulted many doctors but my problem was not solved. Please give some suggestions to me.

Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Hi, I am ankit, 26 years of age, my ESR is 18 mm/hr, CRP 1.6 and in 1: 2 ratio. I am ankylosing spondylitis patient. Is d pain is because of my increasing ESR and CRP? What what is the treatment for lowering it down?

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. It could be plantar fascitis. Go to a orthopaedic surgeon and get and x-ray done for heel spur. You should start wearing silicone heel pads in your shoes. Physical therapy can cure plantar fascitis. These days orthopaedic surgeons are also giving plasma injections to cure this disease. But 1st we need to make a diagnosis.

My mother is 47 year old. Please Give me medicine name of cervical spondylosis. She is suffering for neck arm and shoulder pain for 2 year.

Take analgesic muscle relaxant for immediate relief. So neck exercises warm foamentation. Use less thick pillow. Avoid over use of neck as TV watching, texting in mobile etc.

I am feeling pain in my right shoulder to neck area. I have changed my mattress but still not feeling any improvement. I can't move my neck round.

1.Take crocin 500mg one tablet sos after food upto a maximum of 3 tablets daily 2.Apply volini gel twice daily 3.Give warm compress locally 4. Take rest If you have recurrent attack of neck pain a)Take X ray cervical spine to exclude spondylitis and consult orthopedic specialist b)Sometimes It could be due to bad sitting posture while reading or working on computer. Adopt proper sitting posture, put neck rest, use soft pillow while sleeping c) Consult me for further advice

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

At work place do have mobility from your chair at least 12 minutes for every 2 hours do consult neuro physio and have ift and laser to relieve your present pain and learn spinal extension exercise once pain subsides.

Pain in calf muscles is much common and has so many causes, d most common being exertion, loss of fluids, calcium minerals deficiency, anaemia etc. Hydrate enough. Have fresh seasonal fruits. Take balanced diet. Do some stretching exercises. U can massage gently, also hot fomentation. For homoeopathic ointments and internal medicines consult online.

Hi doctor am 41 years female having back pain in my lower back, after consult with doctor, he advised for ultrasound, tyriod,calcium ,blood test.

Hi Ms. lybrate-user Back pain can due to many causes. Thats why thorough investigation is required. Apart from these tests, undergo an Xray LS spine- AP and lateral view also. Further management of pain can be decided after reports of these tests. Till then, you will have to manage your pain by painkillers and moov/ volini gel.

I suffer from knee pain. Actually when I bend my knee I hear some noise and it is paining when I try to balance one side when ever I bend my knee I get pain n noise. I suffer from this pain for two years.

You are likely to have osteoarthritis of the knee joints. It is a condition where the cartilage layer is worn out exposing the underlying bone. When bone rubs on bone, there is crackling noise and you get pain. Eventually the knee stiffens up making it difficult to walk. To get rid of pain, do stretching and strengthening exercises for muscles around the knee joint. Eat green leafy vegetables and fruits. Walk daily. Take pain medicines if necessary.

I have sinovitus in my right knee and swelling continuously. How can it be improved

Sinovitis is an inflammation of the synovial fluid. It causes pain while taking stress on joint. Repeated friction movement may aggravate the situation. So avoid doing squatting, kneeling, half kneeling&excessive knee bending activities. Cold pack is beneficial with laser therapy &ultrasonic treatment. I am 18 years old. Whenever I walk it seems that something is pinching in my knee. It causes pain. I have used several ointments but got no relief. Please help me suggesting some aids.

Check your hemoglobin level. If it is low follow iron rich diet. If hemoglobin is at level then check your knee position. If there is more backward bend in any one of the knee or both do regular exercise to strengthen hamstring muscle (you may find in net). If you regularly play in which you jump a lot ; please use knee cap.
