You may use contractubex gel. Massage it 2-3 times daily and then apply silastic sheet over them and keep it that way for atleast 18 hours a day. Gradually you will see an improvement. If the scars are raised above the skin surface, then intralesional injections of triamnicolone also help a lot. You may see a dermatologist/plastic surgeon personally for that. You have to do the treatment for several months before you start seeing improvement. Thanks.

I have got round rashes all over the body. Please advise me what shall I refrain eating. Thanks.

I have got round rashes all over the body.
Please advise me what shall I refrain eating.
Thanks.
Round rashes can b a fungal infection, it can b a hypersensitivity to drugs, infections and other agents. It is impossible to decide which unless it can b visualised. In any case, you can avoid milk and milk products since milk proteins are a constant source of allergy. Also, certain fish like mackerel, tuna and shelled fish contain toxins which can precipitate a reaction. Mango, in raw and processed forms can do the same. This vil help control your reaction.

A Breath of Fresh Skin

MD, Ex Sr Dermatologist AIIMS New Delhi

A Breath of Fresh Skin

Oxygen provides a host of benefits to the skin; it brightens, speeds up healing, boosts circulation, reduces stress, and helps eliminate toxins. The treatment is designed for all skin types so everyone can reap the benefits, even pregnant ladies like me. The O2Lift also infuses peptides and high concentrations of enzymatic botanicals into the skin. It leaves you with luminous, refreshed and rejuvenated skin.

The facial itself takes 45 minutes:

Step 1: A Gel to Milk Cleanser is massaged into my skin. It gently cleans the skin, no stinging or drying sensation, it is milky soft. The therapist takes her time working the product in and then removed the cleanser using a warm cloth/sponge

Step 2: An Enzymatic FacialPeel is applied. The gel smell is lovely and is also well massaged into the skin for a few minutes before it liquefied.

Step 3: An Oxygenation Masque is then applied. This is where the magic happens. The product goes on like a gel and then starts to foam. It is the weirdest feeling - like fizz, actually effervescent might be a more appropriate word. This is how it delivers the oxygen into the skin.

Step 4: A StemCell Enhancer is then massaged onto the face and neck. This is a serum loaded with high doses of stem cells, vitamin C and botanicals which penetrate deep into the skin.

Step 5: Prevention+Tinted moisturizer is then applied to the skin.

Hi can anyone docs tell about the advantage/disadvantage abt the tablet Panlib-DSR? Because my mom taking this tab for last 6 months.

MD - Homeopathy, BHMS
Homeopath, Vadodara
please mention if possible the content of the medicine so that accurate information can be given... If it is pantoprazole tablet then it is a kind of antacid medicine... it will control excessive secretion of acids in stomach and thereby you don't feel acidity and burning in abdomen and chest... other than that there are no benefits... If she has chronic acidity or alike complaint then consider homoeopathic treatment for permanent result...

You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Use home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity.
